FFS Cup

The latest FFS Cup fixtures and results

We’ve reached the semi-finals of our FFS Cup following the completion of Gameweek 35+ and £300-worth of prizes will be on the line over the next two Gameweeks.

The last four of this competition will take place in Gameweek 36+, the deadline for which is at 19:15 BST today.

ALL RESULTS FROM THE QUARTER-FINALS CAN BE VIEWED HERE
THE FULL DRAW FOR THE SEMI-FINALS IS AVAILABLE TO VIEW HERE

The run of former winner Wild Rover came to an end in Gameweek 35+, with the one-time champion defeated 52-40 by Manisaspor.

Powell came out on top in his all-top 5k clash with graslauk, with his 88 points lifting him inside the top 500 in FPL.

Sharpey saw off Bencaraway 51-42 to reach the last four, while Joax2 climbed into the top 10,000 with a 60-54 victory over White Russian FC.

Three of our four semi-finalists are inside the top 10k, indeed.

Powell will now take on Sharpey for a place in the Gameweek 37+ final, with Mansiaspor going up against Joax2.

HOW DO THE CUP COMPETITIONS WORK?

The FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own cup game.

Entrants who qualify for the first round were randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores).

In the event of a draw, the manager highest in the overall FPL rankings after the tie will progress.

WHAT IS THE GAMEWEEK SCHEDULE?

The FFS Cup competition will be played out according to the following proposed Gameweek schedule:

Fantasy Football Scout Cup Round Dates
Qualifying – Gameweek 28

Round 1 – Gameweek 29
Round 2 – Gameweek 30+
Round 3 – Gameweek 31+
Round 4 – Gameweek 32+
Round 5 – Gameweek 33+
Round 6 – Gameweek 34+
Quarter-Final – Gameweek 35+
Semi-Finals – Gameweek 36+
Final and third-place play-off – Gameweek 37+

WHEN ARE THE FIXTURES RELEASED?

Where possible, the fixture list for each round will be published before each Gameweek deadline.

Hey fam! Captaincy voting time! I'm torn between these two options! First to 5 wins! Thanks in advance!

Pulisic rarely hauls. Raheem more likely even as a sub. Can't really compare them though imo. Huge difference in price.

    Pope, Button
    Robbo, Saiss, Holgate, Lascelles, Kiko
    Sarr, Salah, KDB, Fernandes, Dendoncker
    Rashford, Jimenez, Ings

Need some help - Pick one:

    A) Robbo + Sarr --- Digne + Pulisic (-4)
    B) Jimenez + Sarr -- Greenwood + Pulisic (-4)
    C) Salah + Sarr -- Sterling + Pulisic (-4)
    D) Rashford -- Jesus

Hiking in Norwegian mountains and FPL really don't mix well, so - a quick question from a hotel cafe with wifi with the forlorn hope of a few quick replies

    Bench one of:

    Fernandes / KDB / Mahrez / Foden / Pulisic
    Vardy / Ings / Rashford

Ooof, probably Mahrez because he has the highest risk to his minutes.

Then Foden, then amazingly, probably Vardy

I think it's more likely than not. 60 mins at Brighton and 60 mins against Bournemouth is plenty of rest ahead of FA cup

Any chance that one of Martial / Greenwood / Rashford gets rested?

I could see Ighalo playing at Palace with an eye on the FA cup

    1. One More Hit
      • 5 Years

As far as I could tell, Greenwood didn't have a single shot the other night. Whether he touched the ball much is probably up for debate. Might give reason for a rest.

but he did come off early for a rest

Greenwood was the only one subbed off early so doubt he'll be rested. Given that they drew I doubt Ighalo will start.

Same situation, between him and greenwood for me on who to bench. Part of me thinks that Vardy has a game in him where he’ll be on fire but then Sheffield have the form and defensive unit. So tough to call

    Couple of quick questions:

    1) Jimmy or Foden (-4)?
    2) Vardy >> Jesus worth it? Do we expect Jesus to start? i anyways have to remove vardy next gw so might as well do it now
    3) Dilva or Foden if you had to pick one?
    4) Jesus or ings if you had to pick one? If jesus plays gw35, he is surely rested for gw36?

    Patricio Button
    TAA Doh Lascelles Kiko Holgate
    Salah KDB Bruno Martial Mahrez
    Nketiah Greenwood Jimmy

    How am I looking GTG?

    Patricio
    TAA, Doherty, Taylor
    Sterling(C), KDB, Pulisic, Bruno
    Jesus, Rashford, Greenwood

Button, Kiko, Robinson, Gendouzi... 0.3itb 0FT

I am slightly tempted by KDB --> Foden/Dilva -4. I think KDB will start on the bench, so Foden/Dilva will probably make up 2 points of the hit just in appearance and CS points + could go mental vs Bournemouth. Thoughts?
