Pro Pundits team up for exciting new podcast ‘The FPL Wire’

Ahead of the 2020/21 Fantasy Premier League season, we have added another podcast to our rapidly growing Scout Network.

Powered by DreamSetGo, Lateriser12 (three top 200 finishes), Zophar666 (seven top 10k finishes) and BigManBakar (came fourth in 2014/15) have teamed up to bring you ‘The FPL Wire’.

These experienced managers, who have loved this game for years, will be discussing FPL every Tuesday, hoping to give you all the insight, information and banter you need to make your big decisions.

All the three FPL managers featured on this podcast have very contrasting managerial styles. So we hope these personality differences lead to engaging debate, each of us analysing from three different vantage points.

Every week, they will be discussing a Hot Topic as well as an in-depth look into two to three Premier League teams. The FPL Wire’s pre-Season podcast debuted last week, where the trio discussed the top four teams, the promoted clubs and three other Fantasy-relevant sides in great detail.

In the second episode, they will be taking an in-depth look at how to tackle Blank Gameweek 1, Wildcards, Going with Mohamed Salah (£12.0m) as well as discussing Kai Havertz (£8.5m), Everton, Leicester City and Newcastle United.

        What would you change do you know if Rodríguez should start or not?
        Could downgrade him and put some cash into the defence and bench, but great fixtures from GW2

          i might be wrong. i don´t follow portuguese league for the past 2 years..he was our best woderkid after ruben neves,but he didn´t play much for the main team last season,but i actually tink he only threaten jimenez position..He´s a striker.
          i only saw him play for like 10m...i do remember very well of his father and specially his uncle tho..

      It's the winter break. Half the teams play GW18, the other half GW19.
      But in addition, leftover from BGW and other postponed fixtures might be crammed in.

    Im not touching Vinagre, close to going to Porto so for me might not even start

    I want to be enthusiastic about this season, but the will he won’t he situation with Soucek is I fear, going to be an additional frustration for us managers, not to mention possible postponements.There’s enough random frustration in the game already & the possibility that we might have to keep an eye on which areas of the country might go into lockdown is extra hassle.

    I've had Digne from the start, but the James Rodriguez signing has gotten me worried. 46% of Digne's crosses come from set pieces.

    How likely is it that Rodriguez, another left-footed player, will take Digne's share of duties?

    Has anyone else looked at where Werner got his "points" last season. 2 hat-tricks in 2 games and 2 games where he got 2 assists in each - loads of "blank" game weeks in between. Streaky like Martial IMO. Would need to dip in and out with him.

        I think Havertz/Pulisic will be better value and Puli will probably outscore him if he stays fit. Easy to swap between them too if necessary. Also allows Doherty over Dier which is another +50 points!
