Big picture you are right that he will be replaced, not this season. I still think he plays almost every game this season. He is very sound defensively and we will need that with James not always tracking back. Kenny is untested in the prem.

The team was in attack transition, if course the fullback is going to be high up. Same happened to Walker-Peters for Palace's goal. Not their fault, but rather the player who lost the ball, in this case Dier or Davies (couldn't catch who it was) with that horrendous crossfield pass.

Or just tell Davies not to make a such a terrible pass in that area
