Why I’m lining up for FPL Gameweek 3 without any Chelsea players

A Fantasy Premier League veteran of 11 years, Darren Wiles has an incredible track record with three top 1k finishes in the last four seasons.

With so many favourable match-ups in Gameweek 3, I am feeling confident about the next round of Fantasy Premier League.

It has been a positive start thus far, anyway, with 80 and 90-point hauls in the first two Gameweeks taking me to a total of 170 and an overall rank of 29k.

The goals have been flying in so far and I have been lucky enough to capitalise on the early glut of double-digit returns. But all of that is in the past, and it’s what happens this weekend that matters now.

Here is what my team looks like for Gameweek 3 and the reasons behind some key decisions.

    is there a 5.5 mid out there worth owning in your starting 11? i had neves 2 seasons ago (he was 5m actually) and mcginn last year and it worked well but really not a clue for this season.

      Leeds have a few good options at that price point and of course Podence looks good and has the fixtures, slight concern about his minutes.

        It's template team but without Salah.
        If I go B, the core team would be:
        Robbo - Digne - Saiss
        KDB - Foden - Kai - Son
        Werner - Jim - DCL.

      I have exactly the same choice and am leaning towards Lampty. Dont think either will get a clean sheet but feel hes more likely to get attacking returns

    I am torn on Rodriguez & Klich (+0.9m) v. Zaha & Foden (+0.3m). Been set on my WC all week but this last minute potential swap is racking my brain.

    Now that City don’t have a real no.9 available I think KDB will be pushed back into the no.8 role and City will play a false 9. Call me mad but I think Sterling outscores KDB over the next few

      Madness and genius and all that. Here’s hoping.
      In theory Sterling could be a better option now.
      I brought in Sterling purely as an ownership diff pick over KDB. If the Jesus news makes Sterling a better option it just goes to show there is a lot of luck in this game.

      Looks nice. I wouldn’t want the bench headache every week.
      You could downgrade one spot to upgrade another but if you want a strong bench go with it. You happy that Praet is a starter most weeks. I am not sure just asking
