Zaha and Lamptey fit to feature as Mitchell keeps his place at left-back

Crystal Palace face Brighton and Hove Albion at Selhurst Park in the second of four Premier League matches to take place on Sunday.

Kick-off in the M23 derby is at 14:00 BST.

All four of the players who have double-digit ownerships from these two teams start this afternoon.

Three of them were doubts for this fixture, be it through injury or rotation risk.

Tyrick Mitchell (£4.2m) sees off the challenge of Patrick van Aanholt (£5.4m) at left-back for now, with the fit-again Dutchman only among the substitutes.

Tariq Lamptey (£4.7m) and Wilfried Zaha (£7.2m) were both flagged with injuries in Fantasy Premier League but the pair are passed fit to feature.

Mathew Ryan (£4.5m), Albion’s most-owned FPL asset, is between the posts again as expected.

Crystal Palace have made four changes in all to the side that were thrashed by Chelsea before the international break.

Gary Cahill (£4.5m) is back after a long-term lay-off and replaces Mamadou Sakho (£4.5m) at centre-half, while Jeffrey Schlupp (£5.5m) is in for Eberechi Eze (£5.9m) down the Eagles’ left flank.

Jordan Ayew (£5.8m) isn’t in the Palace squad, so Michy Batshuayi (£5.8m) joins Zaha in a two-man attack.

The injured James McCarthy (£4.5m) is replaced by Jairo Riedewald (£4.4m) in the middle of the park, while new signing Nathaniel Clyne (£4.5m) is on the bench.

Brighton make two changes to the team that lost 4-2 against Everton last time out.

Dan Burn (£4.4m) and Adam Lallana (£6.3m) come into the visitors’ starting XI, with Steven Alzate (£4.5m) and Aaron Connolly (£5.5m) dropping to the bench – possibly as a result of their exertions with their respective countries over the international break.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Mitchell, Cahill, Kouyaté, J Ward; Schlupp, McArthur, Riedewald, Townsend; Zaha, Batshuayi.

Brighton and Hove Albion XI: Ryan; Webster, Dunk, White; Burn, Bissouma, Lallana, Lamptey; Trossard, Maupay, March.

Not both, make your choice and spend a bit of money elsewhere. Wouldn't get rid of double-up immediately with Sheff coming up unless you need to free up the funds to get a player you want though. High probability of a cs next week.

With pens he will score higher than last season but he is still an average player in a defensive side so I would sooner take Grealish, Jrod etc

He only needs one opportunity though and is playing as a striker but classed as a mid. Better option than Grealish imo with the amount of other tricky pace Palace have going forward. Schlupp, Eze and Townsend are all good at drawing fouls for pens etc. Even Ayew/Batshuayi.

What are people's thoughts on a Mane/Salah double up?
Would require removing TAA + KDB with 2 ft's but fancying Mane to continue his form and at 7% ownership seems a really good differential..

As poor as TAA has been in terms of fpl pts I would not recommend removing him before 2 nice home fixtures

I like the idea more than a defensive double-up. They probably will keep at least one clean sheet but they are SO much better going forward than defensively without VVD. We all remember how 'Pool used to play before VVD and Becker came- trying to outscore every opponent.

Which is why I like to see teams play a deeper defensive line against Palace. Properly screws up their approach as they have zero creativity. You might have a bigger gap between defence and midfield but Palace won't hurt you with that space.

Isn't James a more pressing issue?

Wait till all games done. Still unsure about Zaha, but really like KDB to Mane

Wait on KDB news first but if he's out longer term then looks good. Mane looking really sharp and Zaha has good fixtures. He's still an awful person though.

Other consideration may be Sterling. Aguero being back will help them pick up some form I reckon.

thanks all yeah really need a differential so Mane and Salah double up could be it. Plus if pool potentially conceded more with no VVD they may have to score more goals

There will be 2 more goals in the second half. It will finish either 2-1 or 1-2.
The only thing that must be done is Alzate to replace Lallana.

    Best R.James replacement? 1FT 8.2 ITB after selling R.James.
    A) Keane and save my KDB buy back money.
    B) more expensive upgrade and figure out the KdB issue later on, if so who?
    Have Robbo, Saiss, Lamp, Mitchell.

Time for Trossard to get out of my team. Was hoping Brighton would get the first goal. Palace scored first so that’s basically it then.
