Fantasy Premier League managers need to start making a plan for their Tottenham Hotspur assets as their incoming fixture-swing approaches.

Leading the way with their 71 points each, Harry Kane (£11.0m) and Son Heung-min (£9.6m) have been the catalysts for success during the first seven Gameweeks but that may not be true for much longer.

Many of us will be relying on Jose Mourinho’s men yet again this weekend as they travel to face an out-of-form West Bromwich Albion side – but we cannot allow ourselves to get too attached.

From Gameweek 9 it will be a case of form versus fixtures as we see Spurs run into Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in four of the five matches between Gameweeks 10 and 13.  Even though owning both Kane and Son has been almost essential in the early weeks of the season, I definitely think it is time we seriously examine the merits of keeping the pair beyond Gameweek 8.

    Who is the best west ham mid? Taking into account benhrama will presumably jeopardise minutes for one / both of them

    A....fornals

          United players aren't captain-able for me in any fixture at the moment, you don't know which team will turn up but more often than not it's the crap one.

    Need help 🙂 pls!

    A B or C pls?

    A) Pulisic and TAA out for Coufal/Creswell and Rasford for -4

    B) TAA out for Coufal/Creswell ( If puli out Dallas comes in)

    C) Save transfer and play Dallas (if Puli is out)

    I want Rashford C next week vs WBA and will need to drop TAA over next 3 to afford City assets anyways.....

    Quite a few on here are missing the point about selling Son and Kane. It's a clear example of 'upside chasing' which is a term frequently bandied around on here. Sure, Kane has a great record against some of his upcoming opponents and with both their form I don't think anyone expects them both to suddenly go on a barren run like Aubameyang. So they'll score, yeah, but do you expect them to score every game? Do you expect them to get double digit hauls against any of the upcoming teams? So then you have 20m budget tied up in players that you won't captain but expect to 'tick over', which isn't good enough. Leicester, City and Liverpool all face Fulham in consecutive weeks GW10-12. The switch is obvious, imo.

      The exact reason I am not going Ings to Kane this GW. Have Son and will continue playing him. Taking a chance with Martial this GW. Planning to get Vardy in GW10

      The duo may be season keepers (well priced), I might scrimp elsewhere to get assets with good fixtures.

        You can't feasibly have Son + Kane alongside Salah, KDB and Vardy. Even with 2 of the 3 you'd also be missing out on Bruno, Aguero/Jesus/Sterling, Chelsea mids/Werner, and a host of premium defenders. You can try scrimping elsewhere but so much upside missed. Spurs have crap fixtures all the way up to GW16, just get them back then, that's what transfers are for. You won't even be saving on TV cos their price will certainly fall with the firesale coming up.

          Spuds might even win the league so I'll definitely hold Sir Harry but may hokey kokey Son for players with mint fixtures.

        I mean technically we're often guilty of doing it the other way round (pure fixtures and questionable form) as well but it's rare that the fixtures line up almost perfectly, it's not like Spurs face 2 of the big boys sandwiched between Everton and Newcastle or something like that, their fixtures are genuinely bottom of the barrel stuff whilst City have like 4 home bankers and other big teams take turns to bully Fulham

    Can Bamford keep up with or outscore Werner over the next few weeks?

    Leeds create loads of chances for Bamford and play attacking football. Fixtures don't seem to matter to them as they play attacking football in each game.

    Werner has penalties in his locker now but there's a chance he's rested this weekend. Also goals are more shared out at Chelsea compared to Leeds.

      Hello Fam,

      Got 2 FT, 0.3 ITB

      Defensive concerns: Robertson, Reece, Mitchell
      Midfield concerns: Podence, Hames

      Definitely want to make use of atleast one transfer. Would you ship/stick with Robbo?

      A) Robbo -> Coufal
      B) Robbo -> Coufal, Podence -> Fornals/Bowen
      C) Reece -> Coufal
      D) Other

      Thoughts appreciated 🙂

          Cant do that unfortunately. I've currently got Mitchell at 4.1M and only 0.3ITB

              Yup I could make that move.

              Here's how my team would look like:

              Digne, Robertson, Justin, Coufal, Mitchell
              Salah, Son, Podence, Hames
              Kane, Werner, Watkins

              Who of these would you leave on the bench?

              A) Podence
              B) Watkins
              C) Digne
              D) Robertson
              E) Justin

      I have 2 FT and I am thinking of doing Dallas to Coufal.

      Who would you then bench this week?

      Martinez
      TAA Lamptey Chilwell
      Salah Son Grealish Zaha
      Kane DCL Maupay

      Steer, Dallas, Mitchell, Bissouma

        Same dilemma for me. I have Robbo instead of TAA, and probably will bench him. It feels wrong, but need to play the odds.

          I’d be open to the idea as definitely see Man City scoring

          Transfer in Zouma or Chilwell peeps? Is Zouma at risk of losing his place?

            Chilwell is probably a season keeper for me.

            Zouma not at risk but Chilwell more likely to get attacking points
