Comparing Kane, Son and potential replacements as I plan for Spurs’ fixture swing

Fantasy Premier League managers need to start making a plan for their Tottenham Hotspur assets as their incoming fixture-swing approaches.

Leading the way with their 71 points each, Harry Kane (£11.0m) and Son Heung-min (£9.6m) have been the catalysts for success during the first seven Gameweeks but that may not be true for much longer.

Many of us will be relying on Jose Mourinho’s men yet again this weekend as they travel to face an out-of-form West Bromwich Albion side – but we cannot allow ourselves to get too attached.

From Gameweek 9 it will be a case of form versus fixtures as we see Spurs run into Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in four of the five matches between Gameweeks 10 and 13.  Even though owning both Kane and Son has been almost essential in the early weeks of the season, I definitely think it is time we seriously examine the merits of keeping the pair beyond Gameweek 8.

If Watkins can bag a Hat-trick against Liv, he's capable to bag a goal against Ars. I'd bench B or C

Foden did well in the 4-0 earlier in the year which people probably still remember. Pep's shown that he trusts him in big games, which can't be said for Torres so far and arguably Mahrez as well. Also came off early midweek (although I believe that was more because he was playing badly). Personally I'm not particularly confident with him but he's my only City asset and I'd rather that than Watkins away at the best defence in the league.

Antonio is such an underrated player.
Man has played as a winger Striker As well as a fullback for Hanmers and done exceptionally well.

I genuinely think it might be a joke. He was one of the leading candidates earlier in the week which makes me think someone might have pushed his numbers up for lolz. It's easy to do via incognito browser.

Having said that, he's always yellow flagged between games and it's never an issue, won't be this time either.

Hi guys, i need your feddback.

    My team is:
    button/mccarthy
    webster/mitchell/TAA/KWP/dier
    barkley/zaha/salah/son/havertz
    DCL/ings/wilson

I have 1 FT and 0,2 mil left in the bank.

Havertz should go be transffered out, not only due to covid-19, but mainly his performances
Ings has a long term injury
Son should perhaps be transffered as well, since Spurs have a difficult schedule ahead

Should I trade Havertz to 5 mil midfielder and then buy KDB/Sterling?
Later on, trade Ings for... ? :/

Quick straw poll on who people are going to keep from the Spurs duo

    Son
+ likely to play higher up as a counter attacking player for difficult games (see City last year)
    - more midfield options such as KDB, Liverpool, Sterling, United etc

    Kane
+ penalties to keep him ticking over, stats through the roof
    - potentially likely to be stuck on the line during defensive corners when Mourinho is squeezing out a 1-0 win away

Son's leaving my team for Grealish in GW9. Injuries aside that won't change. Kane's leaving my team for Vardy but I've not decided whether that's a GW9 or GW10 transfer yet. Depends on how Liverpool look. Imo it's not down to Son/Kane, it's down to their replacements.

Interesting, I think I’m happy to keep one pending form as it is an Avenue that means I’ll get something from their fixtures, but losing both NFC Luke be a way to maximise players elsewhere. Not thought of doing it personally!

I have both Kane and Son and will only be looking to transfer one out next week. I think both of them will do well against difficult teams who will be looking to attack and win the game as opposed to getting 10 men behind the wall. They are in incredible attacking form and I don’t think this will just stop, despite the fixtures.

I know I want De Bruyne next week so I just need to decide the following.

Do I want Kane and Pulisic or Son and Werner? I prefer Kane to Son but Pulisic’s hamstrings are made of cheese.
