Struijk returns to Leeds side as Eze starts for Crystal Palace

Fantasy Premier League defender Pascal Struijk (£4.0m) returns to the Leeds United starting XI as they face Crystal Palace in Gameweek 8.

The versatile option was recently designated as the replacement for Kalvin Phillips (£4.9m) ahead of a Gameweek 6 trip to Liverpool, only to get substituted inside the opening half-hour after a dismal showing.

However, following a 4-1 home defeat to Leicester, Marcelo Bielsa has turned back to Struijk, who comes into the time in the place of Jamie Shackleton (£4.8m).

The main attention from this game is sure to be on the attacking options though with Patrick Bamford (£6.0m) leading the line and yet to blank on the road this season.

Owned by 33.2%, he is the most popular asset at Selhurst Park this afternoon although Wilfried Zaha (£7.4m) is not that far behind him.

Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze (£5.8m) makes his first start since Gameweek 4.

29% of Fantasy managers come into Gameweek 8 with the out-of-position midfielder, who starts up-front with Jordan Ayew (£5.7m) up-front.

        Kane has shown over the years that he is both consistent, and fixture proof. Son has not. I think Son will fizzle out before Kane does, the only question is when?

                  Spurs probably beat City and Arsenal, and draw with Chelsea. Would you want a Spurs defender, not really but Spurs attackers arent bad options regardless, it take some balls to captain thats all.

                  Personally I might keep Son and Kane, if I lose one though its Son>Burno, not because I think Son will do bad but because I want Bruno.

          They'll do OK against so-called bigger teams. No crowds is a bit of a leveller and some results are very unpredictable. Son is in mighty form. That's enough for me. They're not defensively sound either. Chelsea might be with Mendy, da Silva and Zouma making them solid at the back but haven't really been tested. Pool have conceded more than anyone. Gunners are improving defensively but still suspect. City defence is very vulnerable if you can stop them keeping ball, not a defender amongst them. The FPL fixture difficulty rating is just for resylults, not an indicator of scoring or conceding goals. Better to have a form confident player against decent teams than a player paying poorly, no confidence, against poor teams.

        What a stupid response..

        Son and Kane got a combined 34 points again Utd so I don't feel it's impossible for either to get a double digit haul in their next 3 fixtures.

        I think people are just weighing up City and United options that are similarly priced and have a great run of fixtures.

          That was United's worst performance in years, so I'd consider that game an outlier. If you want to own both by all means, but I see zero positives owning them during those abysmal fixtures. Literally zero.

              I don't think their CS friendliness will improve that much but they'll occasionally get attacking points. Bielsa likes them taking risks and it's great to watch but not if you start a Leeds defenderm
