Probably madness but is any keeping Foden?
Do you think there is a chance he could play some of those easier fixtures on the horizon? If he was I could have him and KDB/Sterling double up.

I could keep and always bench this week and play Lamphey too.

Or he is a complete dead option now

Did foden>ziyech as soon as I saw he was benched again. KDB/Sterling/jesus are the ones to get

Three bench appearances in a row without being injured would make even Salah a dead option in FPL

Dead option to me. He needed to start the Pool game for me to want to keep.

I had almost the same team and I did Son to Ziyech because I'm gonna get KDB + Cancelo(?) and get rid of Rodriguez+ Robbo in gw 11

Saiss and Son > Targett and Fernandes worth a hit or just stick with Saiss > Targett?

Finally binning Trent after eight weeks of nothing.
Barnes also getting the chop for Bruno, which leaves me with exactly 6m to spend on a brand new defender (for a -4)

    Question is, who!

Laporte/Cancelo for City's run of fixtures?
    The returning PVA?
    Cresswell?
Someone cheap and bank the change?

I already have Martinez, Robbo (yeah I know), Saiss, Chilwell and the crocked Mitchel so it's not looking too great but really don't fancy the -8 to repair it.

Opinions would be appreciated as always

Lucas Digne is back on the radar. Everton with 3 good fixtures.

Although in your case, you're spending way too much on defense. I'd downgrade to Targett and bank the change.

Can he earn his keep though with diluted set piece duties. Goal threat from open play not great. A few assists rolling in. Clean sheets absolutely crucial to him to convert those assists into 3 bonus and climb the rank

Cancelo is tempting but you are in similar position to me with Saiss and Mitchell. Cancelo being a rotation risk might be too risky at this stage.

I would not go with both Son and Kane for the next few GW's. Just keep one.

Change Bavies and maybe bring in Soucek for Podence to save some money unless you intend to play 3-5-2 most of the times.

Bruno is hitting numbers at serious pace and it can't be ignored anymore imo. He hets into box at opportune moments and gets returns. Not a fluke at all. I'm definitely getting him in my team as soon as this GW. Was a bit circumspect but he's too good

with my 2FT i plan to ditch Son and Saiss, which option looks best:

    A) Coufal/Targett and KDB (I have Sterling already and would mean one of Brewster/Lookman plays each week)
    B) Dias and Ziyech, (leaving the door open for a -4 to move Brewster to Watkins so Lookman benched)

    1. NABIL - FPL otai

I believe Mendy's return will cost some starts for Cancelo and I'm afraid that this will happen in easier home games. If Ake is injured badly then there is high possibility Ruben Dias to start all the upcoming fixtures

I think Spurs will do well on balance over the tough fixture run. There'll be a hopelessly negative Mourinho performance in there somewhere, but I'd expect them to put 3/4/5 past a few teams on the counter as well.

That said, if you've no other way to get in one of Sterling/KDB then I'd maybe shift Son for a while.

Me personally i would take one away. At the moment you have premium player who have better fixtures than spurs. So go for fernandes or werner. I would take away Son for fernandes or Ziyech maybe for KDB.

            Richarlison is criminally overlooked imo.

Thinking Brewster (even 4.5 is overpaying at this rate) to Rich and bench Soucek/Barkley. Son & Kane to KDB & Vardy for free in GW10.

Doubt any of you can beat that.

I also prefer DCL but there's no denying Richarlison is a massive upgrade on Brewster and a good differential ( and on pens...almost convincing myself now!)

True a definite upgrade of Brewster. I also think Rich back on the team = more everton goals, even if they're not his. Would you agree?
(So maybe a DCL and Rich double-up is worth consideration)

Everton look so much better with him in the team and DCL gets more space, if Rich could just up his goals ratio a double up could be great for the next 3

3 assists and 1 goal in the first 5 matches, vs 3 assists and 3 goals for J-Rod.

And since we all have DCL anyway, we're not going to be tripling up are we?

He's quality. Probably finish the season with 8-12 goals and 10/12 assists. Good value in a form team. I might get in after the Spurs game.

Yes he is but the stats in Amsterdam show that he has some threat to score goals. In 165 games he scored 48 times. But more questionable is how the formation will be when havertz comes back. At the moment ziyech is playing right wing but i could imagine with havertz they have the same spot, who will play. Or he will change the formation with a number 10 behind the striker.

yup, he only played there because of injuries at the start of the year and he didnt impress, I think he only plays there in future if there is no other option, and not as a rotation option at all.

they will play 4-3-3 like they already have with havertz in the midfield 3 along with Kante and Mount and Ziyech Timo Pulisic up top or Tammy up top and Timo wide if Pulisic is injured, They have variation in this formation where Mount can play deeper and Havertz can operate as a 10 or they both play as 8s and Kante plays deeper alone.

I see him being quite steady with his assists, not sure about goals though. Chelsea don't look like slowing down at that end, and with the goals being shared between Timo, Tammy, other attackers and defenders, Ziyech seems the best consistent one to take. Little explosive potential though, not a captain option imo but worth taking and keeping all season atleast while Chelsea are playing the way they are currently

Majority of his stats are from the Eredivisie which is so much easier to score goals in compared to most other leagues in Europe and he played for the top club of that league.

Stats are in his favour but should be taken with a grain of salt. Not saying he is a bad option at all, but just that expecting similar levels of attacking returns could be unrealistic.

I'm aware of that but the stats are exceptional.

On top of the pure stats, you can just watch him play and you can see he is class.

He doesn't need to score and assist that many anyways to prove to be value at only 8.1m. If he gets those returns then he should have been easily priced around 10-11 mil at least. He's also done it consistently for 6 years. And he plays for an even more attacking team now and he's at his peak right now.

He's an 8m player and will get a lot of assists in this Chelsea team. He's also on almost all set pieces and likes to score a fair few especially screamers. Very good value for 8m. Obviously wouldn't compare to someone like Salah but that's why he's priced so much cheaper

He created 4 big chances in two games this is far better than what the average "good FPL assets". Even KDB's number are not that great this year. He is a gift on 8.1 and probably the best move to do if you still own Jrod

Annoying that I havent been able to watch Ziyech's games for Chelsea. Im not going to bring someone in before giving them the eye test myself but he seems very highly rated on here. I think he'll get scores like Eriksen used to. So could be around just less than or maybe a little more than 200 points by the end especially with how attacking a team chelsea are.

Agree with above comments, he looks to be a brilliant footballer. Proverbial wand of a left foot, most set pieces, creative as hell from dead ball and open play, great past record, no prob adapting to Prem clearly. And cheap. And rising.

A player you look at and say 'Why didn't my team sign him?'.

Think had VVD and Gomez been fit they could have afforded to go with Neco but now they are down on experience I can see the value in playing Milner at RB given they will have a rookie or CM at CB with Matip.

Less creativity and if Milner plays, Salah will not be on pens too.
Something to think about before considering him for captaincy this week.

but i dont think so it would affect massively considering how deep TAA was used

Salah did take a penalty in Champs League with Milner on the pitch. And also Neco Williams is a TAA good replacement so Milner may not start

City is Spurs' toughest fixture in the upcoming gameweeks. Those keeping both Son and Kane; What do you need to see from them in order to keep after the city game? Why not shift to a top side with better fixtures early?

Because it's a crazy season and fixtures almost mean nothing.

It's not like city is swashbuckling that getting them with those fixtures are given. It's not like wba is going to make it easy for Bruno.

I disagree. Fixtures is very important. However, I am tempted to keep Kane at least for one week. Moster because I like to have one premium defender, midfielder and striker. Flexibility is key as you can switch between all players without taking severe hits. What if Spurs lose 0-2? Still keeping?

Yep I agree..structure and flexibility are still very important nonetheless.

Depends on how they show up individually. Kane still on pk and passing like kdb, son if still punishing high D.. might worth holding onto them
