normally nay with kane being in great form but saw fulham game and they are just so bad, cant see vardy getting less then 10 points in that game. I made the switch

Selling Adams in GW3 looks like my biggest mistake this season. Man's been pure value after that. Oh and Wilson. What makes it even worse is that I got Jimenez and Brewster back then.

Easy to say with hindsight but I should've really kept at least one. Well, I got DCL and one week later Kane who has been a reliable captain option for quite some time, so I've been doing fine for most of the weeks.

Still kinda mad at myself how I fell into Brewster and Podence trap and somehow they're still in my team because I don't wanna take too many hits. Warming that bench of course. Dammit!

many people attacking the Man City games with a double up in attack? Or is it dumb given their recent performances

I'm happy with just KdB for this BUR game. Will bring in Cancelo this week for 2 City total. If they look amazing, I can move for Jesus or Torres the week after.

I would be genuinely amazed if they don't batter at least one of the teams they face in these plum home fixtures coming up.

that's my thinking, Sterling and KDB for the next two. Sterling to come Mo when they have Fulham. Seems like an opportunity for a big green i dont think i can pass. I have bias towards city double up in the past i am trying to fight

Would it be mad to bring Torres? And even (c) him vs Fulham in GW11?

It would give me much more flexibility in terms of bringing Salag for GW12. Having KDB/Sterling would require additional move to make Bruno/Son to Salah.

Could get some funds by downgrading Robo but it sounds terrible before Brighton and Fulham games.

No not mad. I really like Torres. I'm also a lot more convinced of his potential. He's been in stellar form this year and there are some rave reviews coming out internally about how he trains and his quality.

Likely doing Saiss to one of Chilwell / Castagne / Cancelo, and leaning towards the LEI man personally for the combo of best fixtures and nailed-ness.

Would you also consider Podence or Hamez out for a hit (7.5m and 9.8m budget respectively)?

    Team linked 🙂

Hamez has two good fixtures coming up, a hold for me on him.

Podence to Grealish would be tasty but you're 0.1 short 🙁

I'd probably do Saiss to one of the above, they are all strong options. Bellerin in the mix too if you want to save a bit of cash to help with a Podence upgrade.

Hi I am really stuck here after a dissapointing GW. I only have 1FT and 0.0 ITB. Not sure whether to take a hit this week, I would ideally like both Vardy & KDB but I can't see how I can fit them in. Thoughts?

      Martinez
      Zouma Cresswell Dallas
      Salah Son JRod Grealish
      Kane DCL Werner

      Forster KWP Mitchell Bissouma

Is Werner to Jesus an option and Kane to Vardy?

      1. Top Lad Dakes.

Team looks nice. Would be tempted to roll FT. Jesus could be good but spot not secure. I too have been considering Kane to Vardy for a hit but Foxes didn't seem to click very well and Fulham could sit in.

Yeah thanks JRod to Torres could also be an option, otherwise roll for 2FT would ge good for next week as you suggested. Will reassess after City's champs league game tomorrow.

I'm having a crap FPL year!

      Thoughts on the below oracles?

      Martinez
      Cancelo Kilman Mitchell
      Salah Son KDB Grealish
      Wilson DCL Vardy (c)

      Ryan Taylor Bissouma Lamptey

      1FT 0.2 ITB

Generally happy with the team for the next few GWs, but defence is a bit light. WC already used. Would you:

      a) roll FT
      b) Salah > Mane/Jota for a 1 week only if Salah is still out
      c) Work on downgrading a big midfield hitter to upgrade defence
      d) Something else

      1. Top Lad Dakes.

        Thank you all!

I think I'll roll it. Too much tinkering this year has scuppered the season, should learn my lesson...

I'm hoping Mitchell is back in, Taylor vs City isn't ideal, although have been pleased with Taylor's returns the last two weeks.

      6. Klaren
        • 6 Years

Given that Mitchell didn't play yesterday, you are likely to be forced to play Taylor vs City if you don't get a defender.

Which transfer would you prioritize? (Likely to do the other one next week)

      A) Saiss to Robertson
      B) Son to KDB

B means that Ayling starts, so it’s Robertson & Son vs Ayling & KDB for this week.

Its a nice team and the same dilema i have below. Comes down to if you want to move on one of your spurs assets or not.

As you cant afford to upgrade Son then Kane > Werner/Vardy looks the option worth considering. If not roll.

Team is performing pretty well overall so really struggeling to know what to do with my FT:

      Martinez (£4m)
      Cancello, Chilwell, Justin, (Mitchell, Lamptey)
      Bruno, Son, J.rod, Grealish, Ziyech
      Kane, DCL, (Brewster)

      A) Kane > Werner/Vardy (Allows Son > Salah week after)
      B) Son > KBD
      C) Keeps Spurs lads, something else?

      1. Top Lad Dakes.
        • 7 Years
        3 years, 4 months ago

Keep Spurs unless they turn into spuds. Just looked at their fixtures regardless of colour, after che which is hard to call:
ARS - Gunners struuuuggling, NLD been high scoring recently I swear?
        cry - similar, Palace struggling
liv - high line defence could benefit Spurs lads like it has in GWs past, see it being highscoring
LEI - just got clattered by Liverpool, similar.

Then fixture colour turns back nicely after that anyway. I'd be tempted to either save FT with that team, or replace Hames with someone - Jota punt? idk.

        Help above? 🙂

You have no Liverpool cover so it could be a wise move.

But your midfield is strong, who would you sacrifice?

Might be worth rolling the FT and reassessing after next game week.

Yeah the lack of liverpool cover is what im worried about especially as their fixtures are good. I could do Bamford/Bissouma/Telles to Brewster/Jota/Coufal but thats a -8 which i dont like. Maybe hold and roll this week is best and hope Brightons defence holds as well!!!

Thoughts on going without City assets and going with Salah, Bruno and Kane/Vardy instead?

Like many I had Son to KDB pencilled in for this week but the form of the respective players and teams just isn't convincing me. The fixtures for Liverpool, United and Leicester are almost as good as City's, and the form of the teams and players are far better. City have not scored more than 1 goal in a league game since GW 2 and they got hammered 5-2 in that one.

Currently doing so unless things change. Got Bruno Son Kane as current big hitters, having sold Salah to Bruno last week. Agree on all points, and I don't even think Spurs fixtures are as bad as they look

KWP/Coufal could be anyone up to 4.6M. Shame to go without Ziyech but thinking if Jota continues to get minutes then A seems the most balanced option and takes advantage of strong Liverpool and City fixtures. Will be alongside Salah, KDB, Fernandes & Son.

      Cheers..

Imo, I think I'll Spurs unless they turn into spuds (or unless someone else like KDB/Salah/Vardy explodes and ditching one of Kane/Son is the easiest route).

Salah, KDB and Vardy all have good fixtures this week and I have neither of them. Initial plan was bringing 1-2 of them by using Kane/Son/Robbo but every day I am being more reluctant to release either of Spurs duo and Robbo looked great vs Lei.

Is it to risky to roll the FT with the below team and do the surgery before GW11 with 2FT?

      Martinez
      Robbo Chilwell Dallas
Bruno (C) Son Ziyech Grealish Bowen
      Kane DCL

      Forster Brewster KWP Lamptey
      1 FT 1.9 ITB

      Is Tammy Abraham an option?

      - Returns in his last 3
      - Playing up top in a free-scoring Chelsea team
      - Semi-decent fixtures
      - Great enabler to bulk up on premium mids

Could Bellerin be a good cheaper alternative to Chilwell/Castagne/Cancelo to save a little funds and help upgrade Podence?

eg enables an 8.5m player rather than 7.5m (such as Grealish if I can ever offload Davis first)

Wan Bassaka to Cancelo a good move guys?

Think I’ll wait as Castange wise as he might be eased in

Ffs.. Can't decide which 2 strikers I want alongside DCL, specially as I can't afford Vardy or Kane. Please help me pick 2 out of these:

      A) Bamford
      B) Abraham
      C) Antonio(if fit)
      D) Adams(had him since GW1)
      E) Watkins

Antonio goes straight in if he is fit to play. Wilson, I don't know, Newcastle look soooo bad going forward.

A&E - no rush for Antonio as he might be eased back in and WH fixtures look great from GW13
