Both good creative players but Ziyech is going to be the best thing since sliced bread and that’s coming from a West Ham fan!!!

    Gtg?

    Martinez
    Robertson Chilwell Cancelo
    KDB (C) Son Grealish Jota
    Kane DCL Watkins
    ___
    Forster; Lamptey Stephens 3.9

3.2 itb to get in Sterling vs Fulham if he starts firing. Other option is Salah. If both firing then likely getting In Salah for Kane in gw12 and switching to a 3-5-2

    What's better for a hit?

    A) 3.9 to Cancelo
    B) 3.9 to Dias
    C) 3.9 to Cresswell
    D) JRod to Jota
    E) No hit

    This is the team:

    Mendy, Button
    Chilwell, Justin, Coufal, Targett, 3.9
    KDB, Bruno, Ziyech, JRod, Grealish
    Vardy, DCL, Brewster

Surely theres no way of justifying either KDB or Bruno to Salah for -4 is there?

I think its worth waiting a couple of weeks

See who looks better out of KDB and Bruno next two, then sell the worst one for Salah for gw12 against Fulham

        Cheers

    Zaha/Jiminez out for -4 to:

    A. Salah/Vardy
    B. Bruno/Vardy

    Martinez
    Chillwell/Vestergaard/Justin
    Grealish/Jamés/Ziyech/Zaha
    Werner/DCL/Jiminez

    Lamptey/Dallas/Reidewald

Hello FFS I'm struggling for ideas here. Please tell me what you would do:

    --------McCarthy
    Cancelo Semedo Coufal
    **Zaha** Mane Bruno Grealish
    ----Vardy DCL Jimenez
    Bissouma Mitchell Dunne

What to do with Zaha & 1.0 ITB?

    A. Mahrez
    B. Jota
    C. KDB for a hit (Brewster comes in for Jimenez & plays)
    D. Keep for GW10 vs. wba (Bissouma only bench player. Could upgrade to Soucek or Dunne to Justin)

Can we ignore Jota? With most of us having a stacked midfield, Jota seems to be the fifth midfielder competing against the likes of Bamford and Watkins, unless you want to ditch your Grealish/Hamez/Ziyech.

I was originally against bringing in Jota but I'm coming around to the idea. Might be a bit risky, but considering dropping Grealish for Jota. Based on the starters in the CL, I think Jota will start against Brighton and in most games. His form is so good and he is so versatile. He can play in any of the front 3 positions and also in midfield. Worth the risk - let's see.

  10. Atimis
    • 7 Years
    3 years, 4 months ago

    Which one?

    1. Reguilon to Cancelo
    2. Hamez to some mid up to 11.5
    3. Son to KDB/Salah
    3. Take a hit and do 2 moves

The problem with expensive mid in place of Hamez is that I would need to make some further downgrade to fit Salah.

If I would do Son Hamez to KDB Jota would have following front:

      KDB/Bruno/Jota/Grealish
      Vardy/DCL/Bamfrod

      Worth it?

    KDB or Vardy for Captain?

Vardy: Great potential for points, xG second only to Bamford and they’re playing Fulham

KDB: Whilst Burnley have been good defensively this season, previous meetings against City have been high scoring losses - potentially big KDB haul?

If you own both then got to be vardy

City could destroy burnley and kdb gets a blank or 5 pointer

If Leicester destroy Fulham vardy will 90% have a huge haul

    Chilwell Zouma Justin
    KDB Rashford Son Grealish Foden

    My current defense is,
    Chillwell - Zouma - Lamptey - Taylor - Mitchell
With Lamptey being suspended and Mitchell uncertain to start I could be forced to play Taylor against City..
I have 1.0mil itb which means I could sell Lamptey for Cancelo/Dias.
Would you do it? Love Lamptey as a fantasy asset and would love to keep but I think it is time to move on?

Only worry is that Leeds every now and then pull of a good defensive performance like vs City and Arsenal. They're somewhat hot and cold defensively.

Will have Vardy (C) so no need for DCL to get the armband.

Decent pick, you can see the effect Richarlison has on the team - knocked 3 past Fulham as soon as he returned. His pace will be vital against the Leeds high line.

Leeds could just outclass Everton though, especially if Phillips marks Rodriguez out of the game. That's my main concern with him.

    Say what?

Hey folks, some quotes below from the Champions League games midweek

    Rennes 1-2 Chelsea

Frank Lampard on Werner's miss: "The chance today, Timo wants to score that but the ball's bobbling as it comes along, I know those finishes look a lot easier from afar."

Lampard on Werner: "He's feeling his team-mates and his team-mates are feeling him, hence he's getting in positions to score in every game; so more goals will come, as a progression from that."

Lampard to BT on strikers/forwards: "I have a problem because Tammy [Abraham] is playing well and Olivier [Giroud] in the restart was incredible. I have two players fighting for the position but it's a good problem."

    Man Utd 4-1 I.B

Bruno Fernandes to BT on giving Marcus Rashford the penalty: "Of course every player wants a hat-trick. But after the [last] game, I told Rashford that he could take the next one and he's one of the top scorers in the Champions League so it's important for [Rashford] to get confidence. It doesn't matter who takes the penalty as long as the team scores. When the team scores, I score too."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BT on Man Utd's spot-kick order: "Marcus is a very good penalty taker and Bruno is very confident; if Bruno wants to give it to [Rashford] then why not? Anthony Martial took one against Leipzig too; why not share it around?"

Solskjaer on injuries to Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka: "Hopefully they'll be ready for the weekend. It's ankle for Aaron and back for Victor. There was no point taking any more risks."

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

    Oly 0-1 Man City

Pep Guardiola: "We played really, really well in all departments. We are in the next round, can focus on other competitions. We'd love to score more but it will come, one day we will break everything."

Guardiola on Kevin de Bruyne and Kyle Walker pre-game: "They are fatigued, many games, mental fatigue. They were a little bit tired. We couldn't do it with all the problems [at start of season]. Now we have players back, it was good for them to have a week off."

Guardiola on Raheem Sterling pre-game: "He's ready to go. That's why he plays."

On Sergio Aguero pre-game (played 15mins): "Not [ready] for 90 minutes. He comes from the injury, one step at a time. It depends [if he will come off the bench]. Always before I have some idea."

Guardiola: "We put our wingers closer to the striker. All of them, Bernardo [Silva], Phil [Foden], Raz [Sterling] were so aggressive. [Benjamin] Mendy and Joao [Cancelo] were outstanding too. In general the performance was of a top, top level."

    Liverpool 0-2 Atalanta

Jurgen Klopp to BT: "We had moments but not real chances. You ask us to go Saturday at 12:30, which is nearly a crime. That is nothing to do with the result but congratulations to you. Thumbs up, no injuries and we go again."

Klopp on Mo Salah (who played 61 minutes) pre-game: "He trained with us now a couple of times and looked good. Now we see how long he can play."
