Brewster benched again as West Brom host Sheff Utd in Gameweek 10

Fantasy Premier League managers could be forgiven for turning a blind eye to the final match of Gameweek 10’s Saturday schedule.

It pits the division’s bottom two sides together at the Hawthorns in an encounter that carries very little Fantasy relevance.

The fact that the most popular asset from either West Bromwich Albion or Sheffield United is non-playing goalkeeper David Button (£4.0m) speaks volumes.

It is Rhian Brewster (£4.5m) who sits second in that race, his 6.2% ownership roughly 14 percentage points behind Button’s and he does not make a start tonight either.

For the second match in a row, the former Liverpool striker is chosen on Chris Wilder’s bench, the Sheffield United boss preferring Oli McBurnie (£5.7m) and Oliver Burke (£4.4m) up-front.

That means the most fashionable starter at the Hawthorns is John Egan (£4.8m), chosen only by 2.9% of Fantasy managers, just ahead of Aaron Ramsdale (£4.8m) on 2.8%.

With the Blades facing Leicester and Southampton in Gameweeks 11 and 12 and Slave Bilic’s Baggies preparing to face Callum Wilson‘s (£6.5m) Newcastle and Manchester City between now and Gameweek 13, Fantasy managers are more likely to be watching how poor the respective defences are tonight rather than looking for specific assets to scout.

    Feels wrong, but think I'll be doing Bruno -> KDB this week. Ideally would lose Son for him, but not enough ITB and feel he's essential for FUL (H).

      I'm finding it hard to look past a Salah KDB Bruno Son Jota midfield at the moment.

      After the Fulham bashing is out the way, that's the midfield I'm targeting.

        It seems like too many big hitters, but value players like DCL, Bamford, Antonio, Watkins, Jota are making it viable at the moment.

        Hard to justify the premium strikers when the budget ones are so good imo. Value is realtive.

        I quite agree, but hard to fit Salah, KDB and Bruno all in one team imho. It's a tough decision, but if I had to lose one it would be Bruno right now. Also I think Grealish is too good value to ignore. Imho the best 7 midfielders are Salah, KDB, Fernandes, Son, Grealish, Rodriguez and Jota. If I had to choose 5 (with price in mind) that would be Salah, KDB, Son, Jota and either Grealish or James. Tough choice between the last two, but in short term fixtures swing it towards Grealish for me.

    Really difficult to know who to dump for KDB. The only two realistic options in my team are Son or Vardy. Vardy will surely be good for next week Vs SHE but Son probably better long term.

    The Son move disappears tonight when prices rise.....

        For me if you want a city attacker it’s either kdb or settle for mahrez/Torres and accept they will be benched at times. Sterling not worth the extra imo now

      There is nobody at that price point playing even semi regularly. If you can stretch to 4.3, you have the choice of Kilman, Lewis or Veltman.
