That’s my conundrum, especially with Giroud bagging four last night, my fear is that he will be pushed out on to that wing again.

Werner will be good for assists from the wings atleast. but you are talking about a lot of price difference, also look at how you can upgrade your squad using the extra money by taking Bamford and see what suits you better.

Not too much. I have Mendy and Zouma, nice few cleansheet and you should get attacking points from James and Chilwell.

    Morning

    Martinez Steer
    Mitchell Keane Zouma Coufal Lamptey
    Ziyech Salah Jota Brino Lookman
    Werner Vardy Watkins

    1FT £0.5 ITB

I think I need City cover. Would love KDB

    Thinking Ziyech & Werner > KDB & Bamford (-4)
    or
    Ziyech > Mahrez

    Thoughts please

Mahrez not been consistent so far...better options are available.
Cant sell Werner before Leeds game and cant buy KDB by just selling Ziyech.
Would advise to wait it out this GW and do 2 FTs next GW.

    This week is tough.

    Martinez/Forster
    Reguilon/Dallas/Zouma (Coufal / Ferguson)
    Salah/Bruno/Ziyech/Bissouma (Grealish)
    Kane/DCL/Bamford

    I have 1 FT and 1.3 ITB

I think I'll live without a playing keeper for a week. I quite fancy targeting Mahrez, but also tempted by the Chelsea double up with Reguilon to James or Chilwell. I could do both for a hit, I can't afford KDB.

The only option to get KDB is Reguilon to James, which would allow Ziyech to KDB and DCL to Welbeck next week (or for 8 points), but that's a big move.

    Any thoughts?

    Robertson Bellerin Chilwell
    Ziyech Soucek Bruno Salah(C)
    Vardy DCL Adams

he hasn't looked at his best post Covid but he is getting good chances, against Brighton we was through twice and really should have scored vs Ajax. I havent been that impressed with Wolves defensively for the most part.

I would be a small bit carefull of the jota train. You will need cover on the bench for him.

Dont do jota this week. Adams is soundprovidedyou dont want watkins back.

You are really snookered as you dont have cash so you must sacrifice someone.

Whom ever you sacrifice make sue it is for sure starters. Tricky waters ahead.

Ward Prowse would be a player that fits the bill. Decent fixtures, cheap and the odd return. Nailedplayer

Doing watkins >> adams only means i have 9 starters.

I dont mind taking a hit to get 10 out. but watkins > adams creates only 0.1m which isn't enough to upgrade either burke/mitchell

Morning all what do u reckon Podence or Bamford this week have double chelsea defence so leaning towards Podence thanks

Bamford's goalscoring record away from home is very good. But Podence up against a patched-up LFC defence and GK could have some joy. I'd go Bamford.

Chelsea defense will start leaking goals, its just a matter of when.
Leeds' style of play could cause Chelsea problems, pace and movement could be Silvas undoing.
      Tough choice

Why do u think they'll start leaking goals? They have the best defensive underlying stats.

Already made 2 transfers (-4) this week. Got Grealish and Martinez.... what to do ??

    (got soucek, coufal, mitchell bench)

I don't see the problem. Play Coufal and Soucek. I wouldn't bother with a hit for a keeper.

      Bench

  24. Pegboy
    • 13 Years
    3 years, 3 months ago

    Mendy (Forster)
    Chilwell Lamptey Coufal (Lewis Mitchell)
    Salah Son Jota Foden (Anguissa)
    Vardy Kane DCL

    1FT £0.5m

I've got lucky I don't have many Villa/Newcastle players. Foden out feels like the priority. I'd like KDB, but the fact he's only scored one goal all season means I'm tempted to just let him be this week.

    a) Save
    b) Foden + Kane > KDB (c) + Adams (-4)
    c) Mitchell > Dallas (improves bench and after this week Leeds have a nice run of fixtures)
    d) Anything else?

    1. Piksau

Solid i think, just see the starting 11 of City from UCL. If the heavy hitters all played then Foden could get a start. On the flip side, he could be benched seeing the next UCL game has not much at stake for City.

Otherwise i would say to Save and have 2 FTs next week.

Thanks. Bit confused by your comment on City though - they played Tuesday and Foden got the full 90mins, so is unlikely to start Saturday.

Kane will likely be fine. Depending on how much cash you have, you could just do Mitchell/Ferguson to playing defender and play with 9. Not convinced the FH team is worth it.

Kane will be fine, so I count 9.

Alternatively you could just do Grealish + Ferguson > Jota + £4.5m defender. (assumign this is for -4).

Your call, but that FH team looks a waste.

    A) Rashford

Having both options of Rashy and Bruno could work as one of them will mostly be involved in any goal, possibly both. Hpwever, Rashford could be rested seeing that the last UCL game is crucial and he seemed to have a slight problem while coming off.
      Son is undroppable
Vardy is a better option than Rashford ATM.
Sell Rashy and get KDB seems like a no brainer.

Is Sterling > Mahrez for (-4) nonsense?

Currently can only field 10 assuming Sterling plays. Wondering whether to hedge my bets, spend -4 for Mahrez which seems more guaranteed. Will be captaining KDB regardless.

If Sterling doesn't start, Midfield will be KDB, Bruno, Bissouma

No one can guess Pep's lineup, i dont think Pep himself knows until just before the game. Probably flips a coin.
That being said, i think Sterling could be rested and given a start in the next UCL game.
