The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

Odds for the Gameweek 19 matches are:

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the midweek Premier League action 5

PAY THE PENALTY

Bruno Fernandes’ penalty-taking responsibilities could help him get on the scoresheet when Manchester United visit Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds have given up five spot-kicks this season, the joint-third-highest in the division thus far behind only Leeds and Brighton.

With Jurgen Klopp’s men more vulnerable in that department than most, Fernandes’ odds of 7/1 to score the first goal at Anfield are attractive indeed.

Those who fancy the game to be low-scoring, considering the two clubs each have two clean sheets in their last four league matches, might prefer going for under 2.5 goals at 6/5.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

FOLLOW THE LEED

No team has defended set pieces worse than Leeds in the last four matches, giving up 20 chances from such situations, the highest in the Premier League.

Brighton could take advantage of that, with Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk leading the way for efforts in the box among the club’s defenders over the same period.

Webster is top of that and can offer first scorer at 33/1 while Dunk can offer odds of 28/1 to opening the scoring at Elland Road.

Webster and Dunk are also 11/1 and 10/1 respectively to find the net anytime.

Each Way First Goalscorers

Place an Each Way First Goalscorer bet on any Soccer match.

If your player scores at any time during the game in 90 minutes play, we will pay you out at 1/3 odds for unlimited places.

STRAIGHT OUT OF LEFT-FIELD

West Ham could find joy on their left-hand side when they host Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

The Clarets have given up 40 chances on their right-hand side in away matches this season, the most of any Premier League club.

That could boost the appeal of Pablo Fornals, who is 9/1 to score first at the London Stadium.

Considering Burnley have also failed to score in three of their last five Premier League meetings, selecting West Ham for the result and No for Both Teams to score at 15/8 looks appealing.

BB this just to get it out of the way? (Don't have FH left)
    Forster Bamford Holding Rodrigo

Can do Forster to Johnstone but I'm already on a -8 and other keeper is Mendy so that is not ideal moving forward

If it helps I have a similar bench (but with Raphina and Adam instead of Bam and Rod) and I’m not BBing. Think we’ll get more chances

I think BB is a bif distraction for squad management.

When your players have decent fixtures and are fit on the bench play it like you would in a single game week.

Should I use my FT to bring in Chilwell for Dier and bench Bamford?

    Current team:

    Johnstone
    Dias • Stones • Coufal
    KDB • Bruno • Son • Rashford • Grealish
    Bamford • Watkins

    Steele • Dier • Brewster • Mitchell

    Any thoughts are appreciated!

Don't think that's necessary. Any way to get Salah?

      1. Football Weekender

        Yeah I could take a -4 for Salah. It’d be Dier & Rashford ➡️ £4.3 & Salah.

But I think I’d captain KDB regardless and Rashford has a decent record vs Liverpool and then Fulham, so not overly keen on getting rid yet.

Plan is to make the moves above in GW21 with 2FTs.

      I've wondered too.

Salah is a good long term pick obviously and will likely score and is rested.

I just think Kev can score and assist to haul most games but that's probably my bias.

Salah is pretty consistent. Just not the last 3.

I am a bit stuck deciding whether KDB is essential this gameweek. My current team is -

    Martinez (Forster)
    KWP Robertson Cancelo Stones (Mitchell)
    Salah Bruno Son Soucek (Bissouma)
    Bamford Kane (DCL)

Can you help me decide between these options -
    1. Son, DCL -> KDB, Davis (play 4-4-2 with KWP )(-4)
    2. DCL -> Antonio (play 3-4-3)

For me its not a question of are my players good enough/fixtures good enough this week to use a chip cos they are.
I'm more concerned its a whole week till the last game of the week and with covid if a team like Livers, City, West Ham OR their opponents get covid it may prove using the chips a bad move.
Been using transfers since before Xmas to get a bb team but with recent cancellations it made me side with not using a chip. But a big part of me says go for it still. Decision decisions

Its a tough call. Im likely gonna have a bench of Martinez, Targett, Grealish and Mitchell. But with the Covid situation, 4 yellows for Grealish and Targett, and Mitchell having City, will probably wait for another day to BB.
