Unchanged Brighton defence chase latest clean sheet as Mitchell starts for Palace

Brighton are unchanged as they host Crystal Palace in the A23 derby.

Graham Potter has not been known for showing faith in personnel or systems during his time as a manager but five clean sheets in six matches has seemingly forced his hand.

It means further starts for Robert Sánchez (£4.5m) and Lewis Dunk (£4.9m), Brighton’s most popular defensive assets, although both of them can consider themselves differentials.

They are owned by 2.9% and 5.7% of Fantasy managers as of the Double Gameweek 25 deadline.

Thanks to his kind price and occasional route into Brighton’s midfield, Ben White (£4.4m) is catching the duo up although is still only in 2.2% of squads worldwide.

The cheapest members of Brighton’s resurgent back-line Joël Veltman (£4.3m) and Dan Burn (£4.2m) have not quite earned the same level of trust in the Fantasy community, perhaps based on recent line-ups.

Still, tonight marks Burn’s fourth successive Premier League start while Veltman has now featured from the beginning in nine of the last 10.

A positive result tonight could see each of them build on their 0.6% and 0.7% ownership respectively.

Steven Alzate (£4.2m) is in the left wing-back role again tonight with Yves Bissouma (£4.4m) and Pascal Groß (£5.8m) in central midfield.

Alexis Mac Allister (£5.3m) occupies the number 10 role behind Neal Maupay (£6.1m) and out-of-position FPL midfielder Leandro Trossard (£5.7m).

Crystal Palace line-up in 4-4-2 formation as they search for a first Premier League goal this season without Wilfried Zaha (£7.1m) in the side.

Jordan Ayew (£5.6m) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£5.8m) are tasked with that job as tonight’s centre-forward while Eberechi Eze (£5.8m) starts on the left-hand side of midfield in front of Tyrick Mitchell (£3.9m).

His first start since Gameweek 23 keeps Patrick van Aanholt (£5.4m) on the bench for only the second time since Gameweek 21.

Double Gameweek 25 Line-ups

Brighton and Hove Albion XI (3-4-1-2): R Sánchez; Burn, Dunk, White; Alzate, Bissouma, Groß, Veltman; Mac Allister; Maupay, Trossard.

Crystal Palace XI (4-4-2): Guaita; Mitchell, Cahill, Kouyaté, J Ward; Eze, Riedewald, Milivojevic, A Townsend; Ayew, Mateta.

Double Gameweek 25 so far…

Any suggestions please guys? I've just been coasting recently, still playing and watching the occasional scout videos on YouTube to stay up to date but im not really as engaged as a have been, currently unsure what to do with my chips and team.

Still have BB, TC and WC, team below:

    Pope/Martinez
    Robbo, cancelo, tarkowski, coufal, dallas
    Son, sterling, gundo, Bruno, raphina
    Bamford, dcl, antonio

    So, current team:

    Martinez
    Cancelo | Stones | Mee | Davies
    Salah | Bruno | Sterling | Grealish*
    DCL | Watkins

Bench: McCathy | Bamford | Dallas | JWP

Already used 1 (of 2) FT to do Antonio to Watkins (before I was priced out, and before Grealish news), and likely to do Grealish to Barnes tonight with other FT (prior to drop / rise, as looks like Grealish will likely miss both BGW26 games)...

Will leave me with no FT and 0.5m ITB...

Still worth playing BB with 4 SGW players? Only other thought is McCathy to Pickford for a -4?

Worth keeping Kilman for the double in case he happens to start one or both games surprisingly? If so, i'm selling strujik.

    Then my options are
    A-Strujik/Kilman to Stones

B-Bamford to Kane and Salah to Son

C-Kilman to Dias, Bamford to Kane and Fernandes to El Ghazi

    1. JayKay1
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      • 4 Years

Castagne can play both LB and RB, Ricardo is RB only, Thomas LB only, so more likely to get more mins... But only just back from hammy, so might be worth waiting on EL game on Thurs before choosing... Am Leics born and bred by the way ;o)

Ricardo can play RB & RWB & RW.
Could play LB at a stretch but won't be.

RW has been 1 game only, this week, and was likely to be for dbl up on Grealish (LOL!)...

Castagne was actually brought in as Chilwell replacement at LB, but obviously got injured and Justin (prior to injury) has limited his chances in that position... Hence wait for Thurs EL tie, see if Thomas drops to bench, though Ricardo (RB) / Castagne (LB) may be a bit too attacking in a 4, as both like to get forward a tad (!)...

Was actually (as a Leics fan) looking forward to Ricardo as RWB, Castagne as LWB and middle 3 of Fofana / Evans / SoyBoy... Half decent back 5 ;o)

Agree with the Grealish thing, but it's not the first time hen played RW for Leicester. He's played there for them multiple times before.

I'm not saying he'll always play there, just that he's very comfortable there so he's just as flexible as Castagne.

Already done: Greal + Bamford > Barnes + Kane for a hit.

Did It very early as It’s left me 0.1m ITB to make the following move for a -8: Coufal > Dias.

    -8 Team would look like:
    Martinez
    Cancelo Dias Mee
    Bruno Salah Barnes Gundo
    Ings Kane DCL
    (Steer Raph Dallas Kilman)

    Stick or twist to -8?
