Captain Sensible

Who is the best FPL captain for Double Gameweek 32?

Harry Kane (£11.7m) and Son-Heung min (£9.4m) have emerged as the two outstanding candidates for the Double Gameweek 32 captaincy.

They are, of course, the only two premium Fantasy Premier League assets with two fixtures and strong chances of significant game-time across both.

The question for many is how to choose between them and, of course, are there any single Gameweek options we must make sure we do not overlook.

As always, the Captain Sensible article is here to help you with this week’s captaincy conundrum. As this includes extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

CAPTAIN POLL

Both Kane and Son have dominated this week’s Captain Poll, gathering an incredible 88.0% of total votes combined.

While their strong poll performance comes as no surprise, it is certainly interesting that Son has been backed by only 10.8% of voters, compared to 77.1% for his centre-forward counter-part.

Meanwhile, none of the remaining options have managed to gain 3.0% of votes. Jesse Lingard (£6.5m)came closest with a backing of 2.6%, followed by Richarlison (£7.9m)and Bruno Fernandes (£11.6m).

Worth doing a Salah out, Son (c) in for a 1 week move (-4)?

That’s tough. Not for me - Salah got 3 against Leeds earlier on and has mind fixtures. Ask me tomorrow and I’d probably say do it mind...toss of a coin!

    Martinez (Forster)
    Cancelo, Shaw, Rudiger (Dallas, Phillips)
    Salah, Fernandes Bale, Jota, Lingard
    Kane, Iheanacho (Bamford)

    0FT, 0.0 in bank

    Bale & Cancelo ---> Son & Coady worth a -8?

    FT Stones out...

Is getting Dallas (also to cover chasing rivals) chasing last week’s points this week, or Regullion double a better shout (despite his run of 2,0,1,1,1)...?

    1. TheDragon
      • 6 Years

Dallas surely isn’t a good pick for this week.

He is however a great pick for the rest of the season

He had 2 shots last week and scored both.

They almost certainly concede this week.

But yes it’s not impossible he gets a mega haul

Tough decision this week. long post but should be easy to understand. Thanks in advance

    Yellow flags: Raphinha, Aubameyang
    Red flags: DCL
Tough fixtures: Digne & Richarlison vs. TOT, Targett & Konsa vs. MCI, Raphinha vs. LIV

    The team is:
    Ederson
    Digne TAA Phillips
    Aubameyang* Saka Son Raphinha* Jota
    Richarlison Kane

    Sanchez - Targett Konsa DCL

Possible options are, can take 2 of the options for a hit.
    A. DCL to Nacho
    B. Digne to Reguilon
    C. Ederson to Lloris
    D. Something else?

    2FT's and 1.4 spare.
Any ideas? Ideally would hold 1FT.

    Martinez
    Rudiger - Coady - Shaw
    Salah - Bruno - Lingard - Son
    Kane - Watkins - Iheanacho

    Dallas - Stones - Raphinha

Hmm yeah, you could be right there. Don't neccesarily have to switch him for someone who I'll play this week I guess.

        1. TheDragon
          • 6 Years

One thought is do you want TAA soon? If so could downgrade Stones to get enough money to upgrade Rudiger/ Coady next week to TAA if that’s a route you wanted to go down.

Other option is the luxury 1 week punt of Martinez -> Lloris to attack the double

          1. Atwood
            • 13 Years
            3 years, 2 days ago

I quite like Martinez and he has that double soon too.

Your other suggestion sounds good though, TAA is tempting. Thinking either that or Stones > Reguillon this week and bench Watkins.

Was hoping to wait for West Ham presser but looks like I’ll be priced out this evening.

      Love it

Have been eyeing up both Laca and Greenwood as potential hits this week. Clear risk but great upside. Cool double Pereira look too. Keener on the WBA one.

Think Dunk is worth the extra over Veltman if you think you might play him more than the once.

      1. In a Rush
        • 7 Years

Cheers for that, there’s a lot of options and I’ve only just come round to the idea of wild carding. Probably wouldn’t play veltman much I already own and think it’s worth having a cheap playing defender.

        • 5 Years

Not wholly convinced by Leicester defence or Pereira role.

In a sense I'd be looking at Robbo instead - gambling on Liverpool defence holding up in the fixture run - think it might with teams standing off them. No worries with rotation as with template Jota and I suspect returns will be similar.

That would clearly eat into budget but take Shaw down to Dunk or even Rudiger and go low with your fifth defender and it's possible.

TAA Robbo Dallas from 34/5 or so could be lethal 🙂

Thinking the same if it's worth bringing in Bruno for Sterling this week. I got the other 2 already in my team.
Bruno looks lil off form and with Pogba in the starting lineup his FPL points are bad. You should get on the Lingardinho train while it runs fast.
