Kane and Son start first DGW32 match as Mourinho benches Moura

Harry Kane (£11.7m) comes into Double Gameweek 32 with an exceptionally significant level of backing.

A whopping 95.5% of the top 10,000 Fantasy Premier League managers have captained him for their two matches against Everton and Southampton.

Off the back of five goals and two assists since Gameweek 27, the Spurs forward starts at Goodison Park tonight, joined by Son Heung-min (£9.5m) in the starting line-up.

However, those who took a punt on Lucas Moura (£6.6m) have been left frustrated at the first hurdle, the Brazilian left on the bench for what looks like a rather defensive Spurs line-up.

José Mourinho has gone with a three-man defence of Toby Alderweireld (£5.4m), Joe Rodon (£5.0m) and Eric Dier (£4.6m).

Sergio Reguilón (£5.5m) and Serge Aurier (£5.2m) are afforded wing-back roles but Mourinho has gone for three central midfielders between them, namely Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (£4.9m), Moussa Sissoko (£4.7m) and Tanguy Ndombele (£5.9m).

Meanwhile, Everton remain without the injured Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.5m), Richarlison (£7.9m) ploughing a lone furrow for the hosts tonight.

Alex Iwobi (£5.9m), Gylfi Sigurdsson (£6.8m) and James Rodríguez (£7.7m) support him from attacking midfield.

Double Gameweek 32 Line-ups

Everton XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Digne, Keane, Godfrey, Holgate; Allan, T Davies; Iwobi, Sigurdsson, Rodríguez; Richarlison.

Tottenham Hotspur XI (3-5-2): Lloris; Alderweireld, Rodon, Dier; Reguilón, Højbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Aurier; Son, Kane.

    Kane EO 216%

For every 7 FPL points awarded to Kane, it negatively affects my GW score by 1 point.

That was a rational decision. There was nothing rational about captaining Son over Kane. Literally nothing.

I captained Kane (because golden boot motivation), but why is there literally nothing rational about Son over Kane?

My question too and I captained Kane.

Of course Son is a risky captain punt but to say there is zero rationale is just very simplistic and hindsightey.

Yeah, just last week, Son outscored Kane lol. Just sheep mentality and any time someone goes against the crowd, they get mocked if it doesn't work out. On the other hand, if it does work out, they get praised like they're geniuses. Everything in hindsight here

Jose Mourinho is going through the same self destructive mode that he did at United. Media is against him and every ref has it out for him. He will lose the dressing room soon, Mark my words and it will turn their season for the worse. He is the most self-righteous, narcissistic, smug little man and the premier league will be better off when he leaves and doesn’t return! My say, now I’m off to get smashed!

To be honest everyone's recently saying how toxic he is, that there are only conflicts with him, that he will soon lose the dressing room etc., but I don't see that many conflicts or saying anything very scandalous. I'm not saying his doing a good job there, but I feel like everyone's repeating it just because itt's Jose and there are not very good results recently.

Well you bring Lamela on late to dive, because that's all he does, Moura has played a LOT of football so is probably on rotation, Bale blows hot and cold and is probably a better sub, Alli is absolutely useless. The problem is how he switches to a flat back four because the wing backs solution hasn't worked.

Remind me why the gameweeks are so spread out this season?
And can we hope to have the more normal sat/sun thing back next season?

Because lockdown / covid / no fans . .televising every game. Yes it'll be back to normal next year (we hope) with regular schedules, less knackered teams, fewer injuries, fans and some semblance of normality.

Thanks! Yeah the no fans thing and this lets everyone have a chance to live watch their team. Does it also mean clubs get a bit more TV-money as more ppl are watching?

This GW because of FA cup.

All GWs because of fans not at games, getting to see their teams.

Hopefully back to or at least close to normal next season.

I kind of like being able to watch every game, personally. Though possibly not at my most productive at work given they're always on in the middle of the afternoon here in the US.

I only wish Alli, Bale, Lamela or Moura were available to play here. They could really be a game changer.

Still got my WC, 3Spurs players on the bench next week. But 11 playing players,

                Save the FT?
                Play WC
Take a punt transfer and WC GW34 by which time hopefully we’ll know final DGW”s

Very much a stalemate of two teams not wanting to lose.
