Forster completes pair of starts for Southampton as Ings returns from injury

Fraser Forster (£4.0m) completes a pair of Triple Gameweek 35 starts by featuring against Crystal Palace.

The Southampton goalkeeper played Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Liverpool and, in starting tonight, earns back-to-back appearances for the first time since Gameweek 31.

Saints manager Ralph Hasenhüttl also welcomes Danny Ings (£8.4m) back from injury against the Eagles, the former Liverpool man paired with Che Adams (£5.7m) up-front.

Takumi Minamino (£6.0m) is also back in the team after missing the game against his parent club Liverpool.

With Ryan Bertrand (£5.0m) still sidelined, Jack Stephens (£4.6m) is at left-back, joined in the back-four by Jannik Vestergaard (£4.7m), Jan Bednarek (£4.7m) and Kyle Walker-Peters (£4.7m).

Carrying 11.8% ownership this evening, central midfielder James Ward-Prowse (£5.9m) is Southampton’s main Fantasy focus. Just four midfielders have offered more points per million spent than him this season.

Meanwhile, there are very few changes for Crystal Palace as they travel to the south coast to complete their Triple Gameweek 35 schedule.

Gary Cahill (£4.5m) drops to the bench to be replaced by Scott Dann (£4.2m) while Jordan Ayew (£5.6m) replaces Andros Townsend (£5.5m) on the right-hand side of midfield.

After a string of outings on the left-hand side of a front-three, it looks as if Wilfried Zaha (£7.2m) could be up-front with Christian Benteke (£5.5m) at St. Mary’s.

Triple Gameweek 35 Line-ups

Southampton XI: Forster; J Stephens, Vestergaard, Bednarek, Walker-Peters; Minamino, Armstrong, Ward-Prowse, Redmond; Ings, Adams.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Mitchell, Dann, Kouyaté, J Ward; Eze, Riedewald Milivojevic, Ayew; Zaha, Benteke.

Triple Gameweek 35 so far…

Well that's fair as we know Bamford didn't cut it in his first experience playing in the prem with us on loan in 2015, only played 6 games and was terrible. But thats just the way it goes sometimes - certainly has improved after years of first team action in the championship.

City won because they have the best squad. Liverpool couldn't compete without a defense. Nobody else could either. Takes a pandemic for a $1bn squad to win out but it worked!

I think that's a disservice to them, yes they have the best squad but they had a terrible start and Pep switched up tactics which led to their unstoppable run.

What a poor performance from Utd...That greenwood goal is sheer individual brilliance.. Now regretting not going dcl greenwood ward rather I went dcl El ghazi digne. Surrendered 50 points lead to ml rival now comes to 30 who has now ward to go. Taa salah elghazi are my differentials.

Hard to say. Rashford (almost) and Pogba rested makes me think they start with Cavani and Bruno with Fred and McTom sitting.

Greenwood much better than Rashford on the right though. Pogbas best position is playing on the left.

In terms of form and playing players in their best positions it should be Rashford on the bench. But the rest makes me think he plays.

I'm going for it. They need to stay sharp for champions league so would expect full first team out today. Rest a few 37 for midweek games. Full 11 out 38 and then go at the champions league final after that.

Thats obviously what I deem a sensible approach.....pep on the other hand

Im the same. One of my main ML rivals gave up 6 weeks in and he was inside the top 50k at that stage. Just had enough. The way the GWs come so fast this season is draining and its hard to give it enough time to effectively play and enjoy it properly.

Agree there's been a lot of luck involved with so many random postponements causing numerous blanks & doubles.

With Coronavirus and unparalleled fixture congestion and cancellations the DGWs turned out to be single game weeks for a lot of players this season.

Think the squad sizes and rotation means we’re unlikely to see the 200+pt gws we had a few years ago

Every DGW this season has been a let-down for me. GW19 was probably the best one but even then I didn't own Stones and failed to make a 100 points.

Me: 29 players this week and bench boost played
Rival: 23 players with no chips played

Of course he comfortably outscored me!

More like me unlucky again, Lloris 2, Lingard 1 Coufal 2 (hit inside of post), Castagne 0, 2, Vardy, Henderson benched etc etc

          - Lingard's numbers already dropped
          - Spurs defence been gash for weeks
          - West Ham defence been gash for weeks
          - Leicester defence been gash for weeks

Castagne and Coufal have been unreal recently, Lloris kept a clean sheet the week I planned to BB with him in 32 but got injuries to Neto and DCL so couldn't. Lingard was on fire when I wildcarded

Only week I've not had multiple injuries, Pereira scored and Coufal/me was incredible unlucky if you saw the game

Utd should have been deducted points, their fans caused this fixture pile up gifting leister a champions league spot. Disgrace

English teams were banned from Europe for 5 years cos of fans behaviour. England and Russia have come very close to being kicked out of world cups.

          Alright for United though

Not being able to control fans when there is a match attendance is one thing, but a game being stopped by fans who weren’t meant to be there is another.
I’m sorry, but what you’re saying is so silly.

Instead of whining i hope klopp focuses on beating UTD

Pool can still get to 69 points. If they do that Leicester would need 4 points from che+ tot

And if chelsea dont beat arsenal tomorrow, 4 wins from 4 will virtually guatantee them top 4

Why would Klopp whine? He knew what Ole would do the minute the fixture was called off.
