Raphinha and Phillips start as Leeds visit Burnley in Blank Gameweek 36

Leeds are boosted by the return of two key starting players as they travel to Burnley on Saturday lunchtime.

After assisting in his substitute’s appearance against Spurs, Raphinha (£5.5m) makes a full return from his recent injury by featuring from the beginning this afternoon.

The Brazilian could be stationed on the right-hand side of a Leeds’ midfield-quartet, perhaps joined there by fellow winger Jack Harrison (£5.5m) as well as Mateusz Klich (£5.2m) and out-of-position Fantasy Premier League defender Stuart Dallas (£5.4m).

However, a 3-3-1-3 formation is also a possibility, which could feature Raphinha and Harrison either side of Patrick Bamford (£6.5m).

Leeds’ prospects are also improved by Kalvin Phillips‘ (£4.9m) first start since Gameweek 33.

Burnley’s shape is much easier to figure out with Sean Dyche going with his usual 4-4-2 formation.

The biggest news coming out of the Clarets’ camp is, of course, the shoulder injury to Nick Pope (£5.5m), keeping him out of Blank Gameweek 36.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell (£4.0m) comes in for the England international but is protected by the usual first-choice back-four of Charlie Taylor (£4.4m), Ben Mee (£4.7m), James Tarkowski (£5.3m) and Matt Lowton (£4.4m).

Dwight McNeil (£5.7m) and Josh Brownhill (£4.9m) provide the width today while Chris Wood (£6.5m) and Matej Vydra (£4.8m) lead the line together for the ninth time in the last 10 Premier League matches.

Blank Gameweek 36 Line-ups

Burnley XI: Peacock-Farrell; C Taylor, Mee, Tarkowski, Lowton; McNeil, Westwood, Cork, Brownhill; Wood, Vydra.

Leeds United XI: Meslier; Alioski, Struijk, Llorente, Ayling; K Phillips; Harrison, Dallas, Klich, Raphinha; Bamford.

    Neale gets it wrong again.

Man City line up WAY off.

    Raphinha starts.

    Two for two.

    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/team-news/

Really could have done with accurate predicted line ups at this crucial stage of the season. I'm screwed now 🙁

      You are being idiotic.

It is a 'predicted' line up. The clue is in the name.

        Over 30 minutes last weekend.

A full week of full training.

        It's not "idiotic".

ya I went away from Raph and ended up getting Foden because of all the noise, should have just stayed off here in the hours before deadline.

You are capable of making your own decisions. If it was so obvious Raph starts and you wanted him, you should have got him.

If it wasn’t obvious he starts then there’s no point crying over the fact he has.

Do these people really know more than the average FFS member?

I usually get my predicted line-ups from fans forums and my own brain.

Lucky I don't check the predicted line-ups on here as it may have prevented me from getting Raphinha this week.

I fully rely on FFS predicted line ups because usually it is excellent TBF. I should have gone on the fans forums or checked regional newspapers in hindsight.

To be fair FFS routinely have the most accurate predicted line ups of any site that I'm aware (including dailies, Athletic etc), I think we won some award for it earlier in the season. I'd also say that if you put Neale and co in the 'Pepsi challenge' against anyone over a season I would put money on them to come out ahead (as pointed out above).

However, as has also been pointed out above, this is always only a predicted line-up based on analysis of comments from managers, injury news and a certain amount of knowhow and the data provided won't be 100% accurate all the time. We don't get handed team sheets and nor does anyone else. It's the same with XG and even Mr Crellin's fixture predictions, no-one has the sporting Almanac!

I would also say that this is doubly hard at the end of the season when manager motivations vary (i.e. some have less to play for in specific games) and predicting Pep Roulette in particular is tough.

Obviously totally fine to offer different viewpoints, we have broad shoulders and can take a little flack! Nevertheless, we'll be back again next week trying to provide as much informed insight as we can.

Do many feel that Salah was clearly the best captaincy option this week?

Can’t help to feel that the likes of Kane, Mané were massively overlooked. Everton are hard to trust but obviously DCL was always a decent shout.

It’s a great gameweek to (try to) make up ground, but obviously the reverse could always happen
