Who is the best FPL captain for Gameweek 37?

Fantasy Premier League managers have a straight shoot-out between three of this season’s best assets for the Gameweek 37 captaincy.

Bruno Fernandes (£11.4m), Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and Harry Kane (£11.8m) are all in the conversation although any Fantasy managers chasing their mini-league rivals might be looking at differentials too.

Mason Greenwood (£7.2m), as well as Spurs’ midfielders Gareth Bale (£9.2m) and Son Heung-min (£9.7m) are also on the radar in a week with plenty of choice.

As always, the Captain Sensible article is here to help you with this week’s armband decisions. As this includes extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

CAPTAIN POLL

It comes as little surprise that the aforementioned trio ofFernandes, Salah and Kane dominate this week’s Captain Poll.

Ahead of facing Fulham in front of an Old Trafford crowd, Manchester United’s talismanic midfielder has the slight edge with 33.1% of total votes so far.

Meanwhile, Salah currently sits in second with a decent chance of overtaking Fernandes, with his current backing at 32.0%.

After scoring Spurs’ first goal against Wolves and rewarding his owners with eight points in Blank Gameweek 36, Kane has been voted as the best captain for the upcoming round of fixtures by just over 15.0% of our users.

The only remaining player to have gained more than 5.0% of total votes so far is Greenwood, as he is looking to continue his impressive goalscoring form.

      Mahrez for sure, I’ve ended up keeping him, has to start imo, if not I have good bench cover, but if he starts, we should be in for a nice surprise, the guy is in the form of his life.

        Yeah I was gonna do Mahrez > Greenwood or do Jota + Ward > Mitchell + Greenwood for hot to actually afford Greenwood, but at this point now I need to go for it, so I’m gambling against United not absolutely trouncing Fulham. Can afford a goal from Greenwood and Bruno, but damage limitation I hope.

            Really tough one. Bamford has been pretty poor of late but is up against a Southampton team who aren't great defensively. The thing with Southampton is they will be high on confidence after a couple of wins in a row so could frustrate Leeds.

            Reguilon will be up against Elmo who is a dodgy full-back and I'd give Reggie a decent chance of an assist and maybe a half chance of a clean sheet. Push come to shove I'd favour Bamford ever so slightly.

              In the LMS finals and it’s my Son vs Bruno; I think I need another real differential. Bamford could score, but what chances does he really have of a haul in this form. Saints high line will isolate him a bit so I can see a good game and a win with no returns

                  I started with Bam, best pick on paper. Reggie has gone close a few times recently, they haven’t been bad defensively. Th cash injury is a huge factor, I won’t lie. I kinda just have a feeling. I think him and Coufal have bigger hauls in them..

        I'm chasing a rival who is a seasoned veteran by 17 points so I'm thinking of pushing it with the armband and going all out on the Hammers.

        West Brom have the worst home defensive record in the league and have nothing to play for unlike EL chasing West Ham.

                I think Kane is the best out of the big 3 options but I'm worried my rival will go for him as captain. I really don't want to have the same captain as him which is why I was looking at Antonio. The fact I'm going triple Hammers is kinda putting me off that though.
