    A) Insigne + Zielinski
    B) Eriksen + Soucek

I managed to get this but without Soucek, I dont fancy him either, really no good mids below 7m

      Donna-Bachmann
      Spina-Kjaer-Maehle-Denayer-P.Torres
      Eriksen-FTorres-Berardi-Alaba-Llorente
      Lukaku-Depay-CR7

That's a good squad but only 11 will give you points.

Consider Bachmann to Hradecky, Denayer to Ristovski, Alaba to Nego and see how your 12th man looks! Your 4m will almost certainly bring very few points but their 2 pointer might be worth saving over a - 1 from an unexpected awful game from one of the pricier players.

Pretty happy with my draft, almost settled on this. LL2 WC3

    Hradecky - Bachmann
    Cancelo - Kjaer - Maehle - Denayer - Wijndal
    Eriksen - Jota - Torres - Wijnaldum - Berardi
    Lukaku - Depay - Arnautovic

Main concern is who to pick on that cheap forward spot, Arnautovic will probably start but not certain.

      Yaremchuk maybe?

Triple Netherlands is interesting. I was on it but not too confident about their defence & Wijnaldum. Ukraine could be a tough game for them.

Who? Lmao. Sounds like Ukraine's forward, not sure, the CS odds for the Dutch are decent. Ukraine have actually been pretty awful defensively and Wijnaldum is very good for the Dutch.

Yes he's from Ukraine. I dont know I was quite confident about the Dutch players but I have been reading stuff which is not so inspiring. Sold Wijnaldum & Wijndal for now have Depay.

Apparently the players also don't like the formation he's using.
Plus no VVD & De Ligt that's a HUGE loss.

Tough one. Its between one of Insigne/Gini/Portugal mid for me.

In fairness he nearly coached a Champions League team. Must have been a bad line when he accepted the job with At lanta. They sacked him just before he got the Netherlands job.

Ukraine are decent when they want to be. Topped Portugal's qualifying group taking 4 points off them though that was a year ago.

There's a school of thought, not sure I agree but time will tell, that teams like Ukraine and Turkey, young squads not overworked with games for top clubs during COVID times, could spring a surprise or two. Fringe players for good clubs, not many games, or less tested for smaller clubs not going far into European club competitions.

Portugal, Italy, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands have the potential to get fatigued so the group games will be interesting.

Currently on a defence of Ristovski, Kjaer, Denayer, Torres and Hintereger.

Tempted to gamble on Foden & Grealish for the 1st week then move one on after we see who is favored to start. They can still come on and get points afterall:

    Hradecky | Bachmann
    P.Torres | Maehle | Denayer | Wijndal | Alioski
    F.Torres | Foden | Grealish | Berardi | Soucek
    Ronaldo | Lukaku | Depay

Or should I just sub Depay, Foden & Grealish out for Kane, Wijnaldum & Elmas?

I'll probably settle for this at the moment

    Hradecky*
    Rodriguez, Alioski, Ristovski*
    Eriksen, Insigne, Elmas, Berardi*
    Depay, Greizmann, Dzyuba*

Bench: Marshall*, Alba*, Wijndal, F. Torres

*Players I'm not sure of. Would really prefer someone else over Dzyuba and Berardi but no standout alternatives. Che and Wijnaldum is something I have considered.

Kjaer and Immobile over Alba and Dzyuba?

Personally like Dzyuba over Immobile, Italy may have a better squad but Russia would likely set out to attack more, maybe downgrade Alba so you can upgrade your second NM defender so you're not doubled up with them

Nothing in the rules about price changes so guess they stay the same. Only thing that changes is 100.0m budget at the start, increased to 105.0m after the last 16 stages.

Yeah that's kinda why I've always made sure to bring in Insigne in all my drafts as don't want to deal with rotations and that, especially cause I'm sure there'll be a game when a 4.5 defender will miss out and that'll probably be the same week Berardi/Chiesa does. Think i'm leaning B even with the schuduled transfer, do you plan to C Griezmann at all if you have him in your side this week?

Soucek to Jankto or Alaba to M.Llorente to fund Kasper to Donna? If you want to double up Denmark defence you can go Wijndal to Maehle.

Mount should be second most nailed attacking England player after Kane, less explosive than Foden though but the extra million could come in handy

Yeah, been having exactly the same considerations as you fellas... Tbh, I care more about the lineup chances than saving 1M. I'd go Foden, I just don't want to risk him missing the game.

In their most recent matches when they had penalties, Jorg took them, even when Immobile was in the squad against Finland, for example.

Lukaku OR Ron if using LL in MD2?

Lukaku away to Russia without KDB and Haz seems a bit less attractive over Ron.
Can switch back to Lukaku in MD3.

    Thoughts??

Not using limitless in MD2 but will stick with both.

They surely do but both are quality forwards in good teams though Portugal better than Belgium. Can't sell them just because their fixture is tougher than others. I think Lukaku is a better choice without Hazard or De Bruyne possibly taking some of his attacking returns.

I have a lot of doubts about Lukaku just because of the absence of KBD and Hazard.

Russia and DEN are the solid buses, so Belgium could struggle to create chances.

They definitely win the games, but there could be not many goals

    Hows your sub bench looking?

Im going with a simple strat: load up on 3*premiums on the final day vs Hungary in each round. That way I'm most likely to be improving my worst scores, rather than making them any worse!

    MD1: 3 Portugal
    MD2: 3 France
    MD3: 3 Germany

For Keepers they can just be viewed as pairs, but you always want your stronger keeper playing 2nd i reckon.

came to the realisation that this game is not 15 choose 11.
Its actually 10 choose 7, plus your last 3 players, and a stick or twist on the GKs.

Almost the exact same squad as me, give or take a couple of defenders. But knowing these prices as I've been agonising over them, according to my calculations you're 0.5m over budget?

haha yeah, still debating over kane or ronaldo tbh, but my spurs bias is not helping, feel guilty, thinking of having ronaldo and jota for first two games then transferring out using the two free transfers for kane and another mid as Croatia is likely to be England's trickiest game ...

By the round of games. 7 Matchday for 7 rounds. 3 rounds of group games, last 16, quarter finals, semi finals and final. They should have called them rounds and not match days in UEFA FF to try avoiding any confusion.
