My God. I've never seen anything like this. Muamba pulled through. They were giving the poor dude CPR for ages. Jesus. WTF

Guys, just saw on Twitter a pic that showed Eriksen was conscious when they took him in the stretcher... Hopefully he will recover!

I saw this too. I am praying for a speedy recovery for him. It showed his eyes open and his head up on the stretcher.

I've just heard the news about Christian Eriksen. What happened was he hit by something from the crowd, or collapse on his own accord ?

He collapsed right as he received the ball from a throw-in.

It did look like it hit his mid-body, maybe even a bit lower down than where the heart is, but absolutely no telling if the ball hitting him caused it or if something happened a split-second before.

I think I saw he had breathing apparatus on when they left the pitch. That would suggest he was at least still alive at that point I hope?

    Hope:

    Early reports from
    @beINSPORTS
    that Christin Eriksen is ALIVE.

He's left the stadium in a stable condition.

Thank god for that. Thank god for the doctors and for the referee who acted so swiftly to save his life. #DEN

A finnish twitter user from the parken has tweeted that a photographer behind the Finn's goal saw eriksen move his hand onto his forehead and that his eyes were open...

    Lets hope for the best!!!

    Come on Christian!

Absolutely horrible. I pray for Eriksen and his family. As a person of his age who survived through stroke, i know how difficult for body and especially mind can be to survive through massive trauma like that and i hope he gets all the psychological help he needs. I sincerely hope UEFA reduces number this strenuous number of games because its clearly taking its toll on the players general health, not just their sports condition

Can't be too pre-emptive about what is going on, but really good to hear some potential very positive news coming out.

Insane credit to the referees and importantly the medics, who have hopefully saved his life.

Yeap can't believe they continued broadcasting it but its uefa rather than the TV channels as uefa control the cameras

Just in case people need further evidence that my country (U.S.) is terrible, it took ESPN more than 15 minutes after it was known to report the news that Eriksen had left the pitch alive. Probably dragged it out to keep people tuned in longer.

And one of the ESPN moronic talking heads was talking about how everyone stayed in the stadium to show their support and wait for an update when it was already known that they were asked to stay in their seats to make it easier for the medical team to leave the stadium. Where do they find these twits?
