Grealish and Maguire start for England as Foden left out of matchday squad

Jack Grealish (€7.4m), Harry Maguire (€5.5m), Kyle Walker (€5.5m) and Bukayo Saka (€6.5m) all come into the England XI to face the Czech Republic at Wembley.

Maguire makes his first appearance since sustaining an ankle ligament for Manchester United against Aston Villa in early May.

The Villans’ talisman Grealish is set to play behind Harry Kane (€11.5m) in an attacking midfield trio also featuring Saka and Raheem Sterling (€9.6m).

Mason Mount (€7.1m) and Ben Chilwell (€6.0m) miss out for England due to being in self-isolation over a Covid-19 exposure risk, though both players have tested negative.

Walker replaces Reece James (€5.1m) at right-back, while there is no place for Phil Foden (€8.0m) in the matchday 23. Gareth Southgate has said he did not want to “take a risk” with the Man City starlet, who is on a yellow card.

The Czech Republic name the same XI that drew 1-1 with Croatia in Matchday 2. Striker Patrik Schick (€8.4m) has experienced two double price rises and boasts 19 points over two matches.

Scotland make just one enforced change to their XI, as Steve Clarke replaces Billy Gilmour (€5.0m) with Stuart Armstrong (€6.5m). Gilmour has tested positive for Covid-19 since a man-of-the-match display against England last Friday.

Andy Robertson (€5.5m) may well be a popular option for those seeking to twist their captain’s armband on Day 3.

Defender Josip Juranovic (€4.5m), midfielders Marcelo Brozovic (€6.5m) and Nikola Vlasic (€6.5m) and striker Bruno Petkovic (€6.0m) all come into the Croatia XI. That leaves Ante Rebic (€7.0m) and Andrej Kramaric (€6.6m) on the bench.

Owners of Ivan Perisic (€8.6m) will be hoping the winger operates from the left-hand side of the Croatia attack, from where he scored a thunderbolt against the Czechs in Matchday 2.

Czech Republic XI: Vaclik; Boril, Kalas, Celustka, Coufal; Soucek, Holeš; Jankto, Darida, Masopust; Schick.

England XI: Pickford; Shaw, Maguire, Stones, Walker; Rice, Phillips; Sterling, Grealish, Saka; Kane.

Croatia XI: Livakovic; Gvardiol, Vida, Lovren, Juranovic; Modric, Brozovic, Kovacic; Perisic, Petkovic, Vlasic.

Scotland XI: Marshall; Tierney, Hanley, McTominay; Robertson, McGregor, McGinn, Armstrong, O’Donnell; Adams, Dykes.

Saka only 6.5M in FPL, going to be a bargain from GW4 when Arsenal's fixtures turn

6.5m for an Arsenal player seems a bit steep.

I have him in my team at the moment, but fixture wise makes more sense to start with Grealish or Barnes and see how Arsenal fare in the early part of the season. Saka is only going to get better and better do.

Maybe if Arsenal don't sign an Odegaard replacement there might actually be merit in going with Pepe, Saka or ESR...

With less rotation on the cards I mean - Willian is probably fading away so Arteta really has to start at least 3 of Pepe/Saka/Laca/Auba every week, right?

Pickford has been one of England's best players so far this tournament.

Perhaps the issue with Everton is that the defence in front of him is crap.

So crap, in fact, that Ancelotti couldn't wait to get out of Everton because he realised Everton were a lost cause for CL football.

It's not that pickford hasn't got the ability to play well that's the problem

It's more that he's got the ability to play really, *really*, badly that's the issue

Two and a half Group stage games against tier 2 & tier 3 opposition, without the pressure of knockout football or the quality of a tier 1 side aren't really where you'd expect him to be exposed

      It's in (a) pressure cooker of a straight knockout game or (B) against a tier 1 team or (c) a & B together

Martinez and Steer GK combo at £9.5.

Worthy, as Emi is a set and forget and you get his handcuff if he gets injured. Only £0.5m more than 2 £4.5’s too.

Famous last words but I expect Martinez to regress this year.

Brighton was the defence last year statistically and I expect them to turn that into clean sheets this year. Sanchez at 4.5 seems too good to be true

Did you not think Martinez was incredibly lucky to keep those 15 Cleansheets last year? The luck was hanging out of Villa's defence at times - Southampton, Wolves, others
      ...

And penalty saves are rare as hens teeth, no guarantees he gets another one this year again...

Id guesstimate him at 160-ish this time around which is still a very good season obvs, but could see 140-ish being within the reach of cheaper options and that 1.0 makes a big difference outfield

And to be fair if Martinez does go on a run at the start then your laughing so if you have a gut feel for it I wouldn't put you off too much either

Walker's had a different role second half. 1st half Rice sunk between the CBs to make a back 3 in the build up, with Walker getting forward, but now it's Walker staying back to make a 3 and Henderson pushed forward instead.

I prefer him in this role, same one he plays for City, works well with Stones.

    City are interesting this year.

Jesus must be nailed and at £8.5m gets you a City attacker.
