Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Due to popular demand and taking inspiration from soft furniture retailer sales across the land, we are pleased to say that Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2021/22 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £20.00 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users until the start of the September international break to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premium Memberships will rise to the regular season price on Thursday.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee works out at an equivalent of less than £1.67 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are currently offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

FPL points predictions for Gameweek 3 and beyond 3

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (see below) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £6k-worth of prizes in the 2021/22 campaign – more details of that available here.

HOW CAN SCOUT MEMBERSHIP HELP MY FPL TEAM?

You’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former FPL winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of Fantasy bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

MEMBERS-ONLY ARTICLES AND ADVICE

Ex-FPL winner Simon March: How to avoid getting carried away with your GW1 picks

You’ll get exclusive content, advice and team reveals from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser, six-time top 5k finisher Zophar, 2020/21 FanTeam winner Josh Wooldridge and four-time Sky top 50 finisher Niall Murphy – amongst others.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply weekly video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

We have regular Members-only articles, too, such as Captain Sensible, which provides in-depth analysis on the top contenders for the armband every Gameweek.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for Gameweek 3 and beyond, so you can head over there now to start importing your teams and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score and which players you should bench.

SEASON TICKER

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Our Season Ticker can help you sort by opponent difficulty to spot those upcoming fixture swings, while you can also find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Wolves, for example, have leapt to the top of our Season Ticker after a tricky start – but there are some tough games ahead for Aston Villa.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

TRANSFER PLANNER

Not being able to see your team in future Gameweeks is a common criticism of FPL but with our Transfer Planner, which comes free with a Premium Membership, you can do just that.

Plan your transfers and starting XIs for Gameweek 3 and beyond by moving players in and out of your side.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Stuck between two potential transfer targets for the upcoming Gameweek? Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics and graphics to study side by side.

If you’re using our new beta site, you can draw statistical comparisons in more a more visually appealing manner, too.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

From goal threat to expected data, there are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

Our ‘per 90′ tickbox allows you to sort players’ stats per 90 minutes, too, to level the playing field for those assets with differing amounts of game-time.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Want to know where it went right and wrong in previous Gameweeks?

We’ve got analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and a collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers to help with FPL team planning.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

GAMEWEEK DASHBOARD

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership 11

Enter your FPL ID for personalised visuals and check your live rank as the Gameweek progresses.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool helps subscribers to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition for those close captaincy calls – and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez (£7.5m) famously did in 2018/19.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

Would you take Mahrez out for Greenwood (1ft)

Or take out Tskimkas for Williams/Duffy (as I have no other transfers) or just play Livramento for one week?

Final dilemma here, would appreciate any insight. Current defense:

    TAA - Shaw - Amartey - Tsimikas - Omobamidele

    A) Tsimikas -> Coufal/Livramento for a -4 and hope for goal involvement/CS to make up the difference
    B) Hope Amartey starts and bank the 4 points anyway

    Cheers!

    The battle continues-
Government not agreeing any red list relaxations for PL players or require PL clubs to let players travel

There's no battle here - government, Premier League and the clubs are on the same page. Nothing to see here. Clubs pay the wages, clubs have the power, just look what happened to the Rugby League World Cup this year.

As I say look what happened to the Rugby League World Cup over this. Fifa have no power over club sides in reality.

That is simply untrue. FIFA have the power to impose sanctions on clubs and national associations, and have a track record of doing so to protect their interests. Penalties include banning players, annulling results, and barring nations from participation in future competitions.

In this case they are prioritising international fixtures over national leagues and European competitions and their concern for player welfare is demonstrated only in their willingness to extend the international break period (to get three fixtures in where necessary), without considering the need for rest/recovery when they return. They have a genuine problem because the integrity of the World Cup qualify campaign is at risk, and they clearly don't care that the same issues apply for the PL/CL etc.

FIFA are perfectly capable of saying that if Boris won't fix it, its his problem, and I doubt they would even bother writing to him but for the concerted approach by the ECA. Boris has more important matters to address, so the question is whether the ECA, and the clubs, are prepared to stand their ground. This is certainly not a done deal.

Have the FA or UEFA said anything yet?

In what world is Aubameyang 'world class'????

The actual world class are truly out of this world if that's the case. Saka and Smith Rowe are potentially heading towards that level.

        1. Bennerman
          • 5 Years
          2 years, 7 months ago

Were you aware of him during his Dortmund years? You sound like someone judging him on last season, not the last eight

          1. GreennRed
            • 12 Years
            2 years, 7 months ago

Been watching and playing football since the 70s. He was excellent in Bundesliga and for Arsenal since he signed last year. He can't be world class based on what he was doing 2 years ago. Only on this season. Not playing in Europe or for a bigger nation doesn't help his profile. Admirable he picked Gabon though.

            1. Bennerman
              • 5 Years
              2 years, 7 months ago

The first problem with any debate on 'world class' is the definition of that itself, which people will have their individual criteria for. So there's not really a definitive answer, but I was pointing out what are top-echelon goalscoring figures over sustained seasons, when weighing up Auba's claims. He blows plenty of others out of the water with his goals stats.

        2. Qaiss
          • 8 Years

So winning a golden boot playing for a poor Arsenal side isn’t world class? He won us the FA Cup a year ago by himself. If he played for City he would win the golden boot because he’s such a good finisher.

          1. GreennRed
            • 12 Years
            2 years, 7 months ago

It'd move him up the world class chart anyway cos he'd have regular CL foitball. Depends on how you rate World Class.

            1. Qaiss
              • 8 Years
              2 years, 7 months ago

I’d say Kane is world class. Most would. He doesn’t play CL at the moment either. Credit where credit is due bud, Auba has been a lethal goalscorer for years.

The truly elite strikers of the past few years are Lewandowski, Suarez, Kane, Lukaku. All others are a step below.

Aguero was up there before Pep arrived, when he was a regular starter at City.

Amazing stats and xGC but he just has really poor composure and cutting edge when through on goal.

If the stats keep up though and with his fixtures from GW4... he has to haul at some stage.

Most will wait to see if he finds that end product first.

    Have triggered the WC

Plan is to use transfers to attack the 2 premiums around the captaincy : 2 of Kane / Salah / Bruno / KDB / Lukaku and the rest mostly 'locked'. I expect to this a season of really attacking fixtures with premiums cos there is so many options

    Only one decision
    1. Dias + 4mil bench fodder defender (e.g duffy)
    or
    2. Reguillon + Semedo to rotate based on fixtures

This is the draft now with 0.2/0.3mil left over

    Sanchez
TAA James Livramento then option 1 or 2
    Bruno Mount Raphina Benrahma Bissouma
    Kane (c) DCL antonio

    So 1 or 2 ?
Maybe could go more higher ceiling option 1

Got 2FT and no glaring problems so would this move be too risky (WC 7)

    Mahrez + Perica —-> Bamford and 4.5m

If not would you take Mahrez out for any 9m > (Had Raph and Benh from start), and then upgrade Tsmi to any player with the budget saved (Spurs 4.5 etc)

Don’t want to burn a transfer but nothing glaring?

West Brom changed their entire 11 from the weekend I wouldn't be getting too carried away about Arsenal on tonights showing.

6 players in the 11 are playing their first senior professional game of football. I wouldn’t read anything into it

Will Ode be starting or ESR more? One of them nailed playing #10 at 5.5m would be tasty.

Odegaard starts obviously. But could play both him and Esr.

What to do with this team with 2 FT?

    Sanchez
    Shaw- Amartey- Livermento
    Salah-bruno-gundo-mahrez-son
    Toney- Antonio

    A) fix the shambles D
    B) upgrade Toney and or the other 4.5 Forward
    C) Something else

Any suggestions and to who welcomed.

Gundo > Benrahma looks obvious. Toney also has to go imo

I'm scared amartey or livermento might not even play though.

Hi all want a bit of advice

Not made any transfers yet this season so got 2 free

    Sanchez - Steele
    TAA - Tsimikas - Shaw - Digne - Amartey
    Salah - Bruno - Greenwood - Raphina - Brownhill
    Antonio - Ings - Toney

    Was thinking of just doing

    Tskmikas - Duffy
    Amartey - Livramento

But almost feels like a waste.

    What are your opinions please?

    Ings - Antonio

    Bench - Steele - Tsim - Amartey - Obafemi

Odegaard at 5.5 could be decent, so many other options in that bracket however

I've still got ESR. Has hands down been Arsenal's best player in the first 2 matches, but I'm unsure whether he's a certain starter with everyone fit.

Think he will be the one assisting the assister. Much better off going for someone who will at least get you a couple of goals, like Dallas, Canos, Podence etc
