Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Due to popular demand and taking inspiration from soft furniture retailer sales across the land, we are pleased to say that Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2021/22 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £20.00 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users until the start of the September international break to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premium Memberships will rise to the regular season price on Thursday.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee works out at an equivalent of less than £1.67 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are currently offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

FPL points predictions for Gameweek 3 and beyond 3

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (see below) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £6k-worth of prizes in the 2021/22 campaign – more details of that available here.

HOW CAN SCOUT MEMBERSHIP HELP MY FPL TEAM?

You’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former FPL winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of Fantasy bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

MEMBERS-ONLY ARTICLES AND ADVICE

Ex-FPL winner Simon March: How to avoid getting carried away with your GW1 picks

You’ll get exclusive content, advice and team reveals from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser, six-time top 5k finisher Zophar, 2020/21 FanTeam winner Josh Wooldridge and four-time Sky top 50 finisher Niall Murphy – amongst others.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply weekly video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

We have regular Members-only articles, too, such as Captain Sensible, which provides in-depth analysis on the top contenders for the armband every Gameweek.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for Gameweek 3 and beyond, so you can head over there now to start importing your teams and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score and which players you should bench.

SEASON TICKER

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Our Season Ticker can help you sort by opponent difficulty to spot those upcoming fixture swings, while you can also find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Wolves, for example, have leapt to the top of our Season Ticker after a tricky start – but there are some tough games ahead for Aston Villa.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

TRANSFER PLANNER

Not being able to see your team in future Gameweeks is a common criticism of FPL but with our Transfer Planner, which comes free with a Premium Membership, you can do just that.

Plan your transfers and starting XIs for Gameweek 3 and beyond by moving players in and out of your side.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Stuck between two potential transfer targets for the upcoming Gameweek? Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics and graphics to study side by side.

If you’re using our new beta site, you can draw statistical comparisons in more a more visually appealing manner, too.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

From goal threat to expected data, there are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

Our ‘per 90′ tickbox allows you to sort players’ stats per 90 minutes, too, to level the playing field for those assets with differing amounts of game-time.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Want to know where it went right and wrong in previous Gameweeks?

We’ve got analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and a collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers to help with FPL team planning.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

GAMEWEEK DASHBOARD

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership 11

Enter your FPL ID for personalised visuals and check your live rank as the Gameweek progresses.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool helps subscribers to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition for those close captaincy calls – and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez (£7.5m) famously did in 2018/19.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

Personally think getting TAA Lukaku Salah Bruno has weakened rest of squad ( particularly midfield ) but good luck. I think Obafemi could well move before deadline so Scarlett might be better 4.5 forward

Apart from Chelsea in GW5, Spurs have a terrific run of fixtures up until GW8, whilst during the exact same run of fixtures Chelsea play Villa (H), Southampton (H) and Brentford and they might even be fixture proof to a point for the other games.

Too early get off Bruno and Trent imo but team looks nice. Agree with FF. James is a rotation headache

      1. dabber7
        • 3 Years

Yes James is potentially a bit of a rotation worry but have things moved on a bit now from last season? Is Tuchel's aim, now just to get as much service in from the flanks to Lukaku, meaning is Azpi more likely to be on the right of the back three?

Yep it seems absolutely mad to be talking about ditching the highest scoring player from last season (who also scored a hat-trick last week) and the game's highest scoring defender just two weeks into the season but I kind of feel I'll still be contemplating a side very similar in a months time, when it will no doubt cost a lot more to assemble ...

Planning to do Ings to DCL for GW4, so want to keep at least 0.2 in the bank (assuming DCL rises before GW3 deadline). What do you think is best out of these options?

0.0itb so A.Armstrong my best option if kicking Toney. Ideally next week I could manouvre better with 2FT.

I have both and I think Arsenal's defence is that weak that even if he comes off the bench, Mahrez can do well (as we have just seen). We don't know how Son will play with Kane under the new manager. Maybe wait for the presser?

It could pay off with his form being the way it is. I just feel I made a lot of sacrifices in the team to fit in Son alongside Salah and Bruno, so to captain him this week is one of the best opportunities to feel that reward. I feel he might be slightly more of a differential than Tonio cos of ownership as well which is exciting

Salah will be a good shout, if they play alonso, he will be exposed. I suspect lots of covering by rudiger, which will leave gaps. Will be an exciting game for sure

I thought this. I am hoping he plays Jota and not Firmino though but I have a feeling he will play Bobby to draw off their defenders so Salah and Mane can score. Jota's time in my team is coming to an end soon, unfortunately. I will see if Firmino has to isolate in GW4 or not. Either way, you are right - the game will be great. Can't wait.

I like these moves, I shifted Barnes > Benrahma the other day, would like to have kept Barnes for one more but couldn't miss the Benrahma train any longer. Think Gundo is an easier one to lose given his rotation risk and Tsimi > Livra is obvious if they are mostly just bench cover.

Yeah I'm with you on the Benrahma train. My thoughts in pre season were to always give Barnes uoto the Norwich game so I do want to give him one last chance. Gundogan to Benrahma feels like the obvious move.

I'm starting to think if bringing in Livramento is going to be a wasted transfer as hell just be sitting on my bench.

Yep I would be doing Gundo before Barnes for sure. Was reluctant to shift Barnes but went with the crowd to be safe. He could return imo though.

I'm unsure on Livra as well, he would be a starter for the foreseeable me if I bring him in and I'm not sure about the fixtures. Also considering Dier/Tang but unsure how Spurs defence will look after Romero is introduced. I have a post below if you wouldn't mind sharing some thoughts on it.

Sorry for long post! Been head scratching with this one for a few days now and would love to hear some thoughts and arguments on who you think is the best option and why! Will happily help in return.

    Tsimi >

    A: Dier
    B: Tanganga
    C: Livramento

Whoever I pick will be a starter this week alongside Amartey and from next week alongside White (I know not the best defence)

I am leaning towards A or B because of C's fixtures not looking great in comparison. However, I'm concerned about the lack of knowledge on how nailed either of the Spurs assets is, with Amartey potentially losing his place I can't afford more uncertainty, if anyone knows if either will be nailed that would help.

Next week I will do Ings > DCL and I should still have enough in the bank to do Amartey > Livra the following week to strengthen the bench if that is still needed.

That's true, but I'm stuck with 2 4.0s atm and have to play 2 this week and at least 1 next week if I go for Liv, if he was just bench cover I'd be more inclined to go for it, worried about him as a starter with those fixtures.

I'd go A. Dier seems more nailed and Watford and palace should bring at least one cs for spurs.

I'm leaning towards it tbh. Just nailedness that is a concern but a few people seem confident of that and he could also rise in price.

Where would you go with 9,5 to spend on Goalkeepers?

    Meslier + Raya/Guaita/Sanchez ?

Lloris set and forget ? Thoughts on spurs-defence?

Has there been much discussion on the points value of price rises?

Looking for an article or discussion on how many points you would get over a season by making 0.1m at this early stage.

My initial thought is that a -4 for a dropping player to a rising player (thus a 0.2m swing) would be worth it considering the higher team value over the whole season?

    Thoughts?

I did a member article awhile a back on this very topic. You can read all about it here.

      https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2019/09/12/the-value-of-team-value/

Bottom line (from this analysis anyway) is 1 million = 20 points or so

      1. GreatCarragherReef
        • 8 Years
        2 years, 8 months ago

great thanks, i'll have a look now. Just from your bottom line, without reading the article, suggests to me that a 0.2m swing is worth a hit

It’s basically a wash. .2*20 = 4. The hit costs you -4, so you basically net zero.

          1. GreatCarragherReef
            • 8 Years
            2 years, 8 months ago

Yeah that's my thought. So as long as you believe the player brought in will outscore the player taken out, a hit seems completely worth it

      2. GreatCarragherReef
        • 8 Years
        2 years, 8 months ago

Good article. I do however feel that your 'save your hits' summary that 10 hits =1m = 20 points is a bit off as it doesn't consider when the sold player is also dropping.

I barely slept so I could be completely off, but cheers for the link!

You are right. If you can capture .2 it certainly helps, but as you know, the player you buy needs to. Rise twice to increase your “Effective team value”.

Interestingly, while I think there is sometimes merit in waiting until Friday to make moves, if you have a planned transfer and you know the prices will move, I’m all in favour of making the move early. Those .1 and .2 add up.

What you shouldn’t do is chase team value just to chase team value. It doesn’t net you many points, and you need to get really lucky for it to pay off. That was kinda the point of the article.

Barnes has a really good fixture this week. All is not lost. Personally, I’d me most nervy about Jota’s minutes. Whatever you do, I’d only make one move this week. Next week, you might think about Ings to DCL

Not worried about Jota - form player, been starting + Bobby likely to miss gameweeks 4 & 5 assuming the internationals go ahead for Brazil.

    Schmeichel [Ward]

    Raphinha Salah Bruno Son [Gilmour]

    1. Save the FT (or go Salah-> Fernandes (c) for a couple of weeks).
    2. Use the FT for a 1 week punt and WC next GW to something resembling the team underneath. Need to do some restructuring I think.

    Sanchez
    Pereira, TAA, Coufal.
    Salah, Benrahma, Greenwood, Barnes.
    Wilson, Ings, Antonio.
    Bachmann, Shaw, Bissouma, Tsimikas.
2.9m, ITB, 1ft, OR inside 5k atm so want to keep driving on.

    Sanchez, 4.0.
    TAA, James, Ayling, White, Livramento.
    Salah, Benrahma, Raphinha, Greenwood, Bissouma.
    Lukaku, DCL, Antonio
    1.3m ITB.
