Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Due to popular demand and taking inspiration from soft furniture retailer sales across the land, we are pleased to say that Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2021/22 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £20.00 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users until the start of the September international break to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premium Memberships will rise to the regular season price on Thursday.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee works out at an equivalent of less than £1.67 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are currently offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

FPL points predictions for Gameweek 3 and beyond 3

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (see below) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £6k-worth of prizes in the 2021/22 campaign – more details of that available here.

HOW CAN SCOUT MEMBERSHIP HELP MY FPL TEAM?

You’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former FPL winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of Fantasy bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

MEMBERS-ONLY ARTICLES AND ADVICE

Ex-FPL winner Simon March: How to avoid getting carried away with your GW1 picks

You’ll get exclusive content, advice and team reveals from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser, six-time top 5k finisher Zophar, 2020/21 FanTeam winner Josh Wooldridge and four-time Sky top 50 finisher Niall Murphy – amongst others.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply weekly video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

We have regular Members-only articles, too, such as Captain Sensible, which provides in-depth analysis on the top contenders for the armband every Gameweek.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for Gameweek 3 and beyond, so you can head over there now to start importing your teams and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score and which players you should bench.

SEASON TICKER

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership

Our Season Ticker can help you sort by opponent difficulty to spot those upcoming fixture swings, while you can also find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Wolves, for example, have leapt to the top of our Season Ticker after a tricky start – but there are some tough games ahead for Aston Villa.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

TRANSFER PLANNER

Not being able to see your team in future Gameweeks is a common criticism of FPL but with our Transfer Planner, which comes free with a Premium Membership, you can do just that.

Plan your transfers and starting XIs for Gameweek 3 and beyond by moving players in and out of your side.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Stuck between two potential transfer targets for the upcoming Gameweek? Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics and graphics to study side by side.

If you’re using our new beta site, you can draw statistical comparisons in more a more visually appealing manner, too.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

From goal threat to expected data, there are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

Our ‘per 90′ tickbox allows you to sort players’ stats per 90 minutes, too, to level the playing field for those assets with differing amounts of game-time.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Want to know where it went right and wrong in previous Gameweeks?

We’ve got analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and a collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers to help with FPL team planning.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

GAMEWEEK DASHBOARD

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership 11

Enter your FPL ID for personalised visuals and check your live rank as the Gameweek progresses.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool helps subscribers to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition for those close captaincy calls – and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez (£7.5m) famously did in 2018/19.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

Here are my main changes on this morning's WC...tbh apart from losing Trent a bit early the changes look good don't you reckon?

    OUTs V INs
    Torres v Pogba (50/50 on)
    Sanchez v Meslier
    Toney v DCL
    Ings v Lukaku
    Coufal v Reguilon
    Trent v James
    Pepe v Bissouma
    Tsimikas v Livramento

      Mostly ones I'd support. Exceptions:

I've thought long and hard about which GK to have on a WC. I still come down on Sanchez and spending money elsewhere.
Spurs defence looked well shonky v Wolves. I wouldn't spend more than 4.5 on one I'd bench if they don't improve.
Big names will have to be sacrificed to make room for other big names, but not TAA for me. In defence I'm off-template by having TAA, Shaw and Maguire. That allows me 2x4m on the bench. For you, James will be rotated (terrific when he starts) and Reg could be meh.

        • 7 Years

Fair enough but Reg will be backup for James mostly apart from this week where I play Reg over him. I'm not entirely content losing Trent but that extra 2.0 comes in handy and feel it's marginally the right play in my shoes...will see how it plays out...can always mini wildcard after a few GWs and reverse it regardless I guess

How would you squeeze Trent back in out of curiosity?

I don't like picking a squad for someone, but if you want my thoughts:

Cancelo will miss too many games and Reg is not good enough. I'd keep Sanchez over Meslier and I'd downgrade Torres to Raphinha. I think that might do it.

true but not the most flexible and I like using my FTs on midfielders think midfield will be where it's at eventually so prefer to play with at least four mids

Yes Klopp has slightly changed the shape this season, with Trent drifting in like an inverted full back, while Elliot as the RCM drifts out wide to provide the width. We could see more goals from TAA in this position, but still able to ping the passes like the assist for Mane's goal.

Thinking was Leeds have a good run coming up plus Meslier does better in the bonus system than Sanchez and more likely to haul big occasionally than Sanchez is

Currently, Brighton's defence is looking very sound, even with injuries. Leeds, in contrast, need their first choice defenders/DMs fit and up to speed.

Secondly, for me GK is the one position where the chief criterion is VALUE, not points. I consider Sanchez to be the best value keeper in the game. I did have Meslier lined up to be my keeper post-WC, and he may well be, but only if Brighton's defence looks like it's starting to crumble.

It appears that way but when you consider the comparative value of other players for instance son who could equally be a captain option and save you 2m to upgrade elsewhere it’s just a waste

Mane looks sharper than last yr 200 pt season again? - jota is already outperforming him albeit early days. Son is outperforming him and has the tastiest fixture next

Jia is committed to going without Salah, hence he 'has' to go with Mane.

Personally, I don't think Spurs will have a great season. I'd focus captaincy choices on the Top 4 sides.

I get that and no he doesn’t have to go with mane he has to achieve the most points without Bruno and without salah

                Mane limits that potential imo

Okay, but I wouldn't consider Jota somehow 'covers' Mane; he still has to job-share with Bobby.
As I say, I'd focus on the Top 4. That gives you the talismen of Lukaku, Salah and Bruno (as City don't have a nailed-on option).

                    Covers is nonsense concept

I hear you on targeting the big teams but spreading the wealth of salah and Bruno is key to achieving the same points

Switching salah for mane to save .5 allows no real strengthening and is a significant downgrade therefore it doesn’t achieve the goal

For sure, but I would never be happy captaining mane either (maybe on a hot streak but I’d need to start seeing it first)

I’d rather captain Son than mane which is really my point and you get 2m back.

There are other players that cost less and will achieve the same points as mane, but hey wasn’t trying to pull your team apart it looks good.

Looks like he is for now and hopefully stays ahead of KWP. Could be the longest term 4.0

I was silly enough to not pay attention to White going down in price and the plan was to do White to Dier, that's trashed now. Now I have 2FT and 0itb

    A. Tsimikas and White >> Livramento and Dier (Wanted 2FT for the IB but that's difficult)
    B. Tsimikas >> Livramento (Play Webster this GW)

    DCL price rise was annoying

If lukaku goes up too, that’s effectively .3 to find. Now I know why I hardly ever hold my WC

I can manage them fine. It just requires downgrading one player by 0.5 or 0.4.

        The key there is downgrading

Move early and don’t need to downgrade, it’s something I struggle with, patience

Fully agree. Being patient and holding the wildcard can be quite costly. Helps if you have a great start and already have the rising players, but otherwise not easy to be patient.

Who is the best £4.5 defender to go for

    A Dier
    B Ayling
    C Other please state

      C
No one's rating the Brighton defence. I'd go for Webster at 4.5 over any others right now, and Duffy is nailed for the short-term at even less.

Dier for the next 2 for sure, but Ayling in a few weeks has a great run. So depends if you want a long or short term solution.

Veltman for 4.4 but he is expected back gw 4 due to isolation

See my question below as well. If Amartey starts I’d be pretty keen to have him in. Just not sure if he plays.

How likely is Amartey to start again on the weekend?

Would be a shame to sell him or have him on the bench if he plays that one. Thinking of just bringing him off my bench as Tsimi replacement.

Seems to be a high chance he gets this weekend before Evans and Vestegaard are ready.

Potential transfers. So many options I’ve gone through, but this seems good based on form and as an added bonus, some price rises.
    Digne -> Dier
    Brownhill -> Benrahma
    Toney -> Dennis

    Rest:
    Sanchez, foster
    TAA, Konsa, Tsimi, Amartey
    Salah, Bruno, Son, Bissouma
    Ings, Antonio

    Good moves? Any other thoughts?

Dier looks like he's gonna be Nuno's Coady at spurs. Hence the most nailed. Anyone feeling the same?

Ings will surely go after GW3. DCL climbing in price and Bamford dropping...hmm.

    You do ?

Would you do tsimikas to reguilon/coufal (-4)?

I have white, have to play with 10 players

    1. Jafalad

I probably would provided it's a long term transfer i.e. more than three games. You do not want to keep on taking hits for defenders.

Look at the fixture list and go from there. Leeds have good fixtures with Lorente coming back so Ayling migth be a better option.

The other issue is price point/finding an alternative enabler. Tsimkas was a 4.0 enable so I'd be looking at replacing him with another 4.0 def if you have none in your team. If that is the case, the best two options look like Livramento or the NOR full back, Brandon Williams.

JAFALAD, i have ayling, shaw, tsimikas, non playing 4 and white. 1.3 in the bank. I want TAA after gw4.
Don't know tsimi to livre is a good choice (-4)

Ok...that's why you need to show us your team with these type of questions.

WHM sits third on the ticker over the next 6 weeks so Coufal could be a good choice. They have yet to keep a cs yet is my only concern but you may get some attacking returns with him.

Still not made my mind up the TOT d. WOL could have scored a few the other day.

    B) Mbuemo & Wilson
    C) Torres & Maddison

Tsimikas to Livramento would give me that extra 0.1m to round my ITB to 0.5m. Hes going to have to go at some point.

    Seems like the sensible move?

    Ings Antonio Wilson
