Jota benched as Robertson returns to Liverpool XI

A mouth-watering clash at Anfield sees Liverpool take on Chelsea in the Saturday evening kick-off.

The action on Merseyside gets underway at 17:30 BST.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to make three changes to the Reds side that beat Burnley at Anfield last weekend, two of which are significant from a Fantasy perspective.

Kostas Tsimikas (£4.2m) and Diogo Jota (£7.6m) are both benched as the fit-again Andrew Robertson (£7.0m) and Roberto Firmino (£8.9m) are recalled to the starting XI.

Klopp’s other alteration sees Fabinho (£5.4m), back after missing Gameweek 2 for personal reasons, come in for Naby Keita (£5.0m) in midfield.

Teenager Harvey Elliott (£5.5m) keeps his place in the centre of the park.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has kept things simple, making just one, predictable adjustment after the 2-0 away win over Arsenal last Sunday.

That change sees N’Golo Kante (£4.9m) come into the midfield for Mateo Kovacic (£5.0m).

Marcos Alonso (£5.6m) once again starts at left wing-back, with Ben Chilwell (£5.8m) still without any game-time since May.

Romelu Lukaku (£11.5m), transferred in by over half a million Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers ahead of the Gameweek 3 deadline, is again flanked by Mason Mount (£7.5m) and Kai Havertz (£8.3m) in the Chelsea attack.

The sale of Mohamed Salah (£12.6m) was perhaps used to free up funds for the Belgian for many Fantasy bosses, with the Egyptian the most transferred-out midfielder of this Gameweek.

He is still the third-most captained player of the round, however, with just under one million of us handing him the armband.

Liverpool Xl: Alisson, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Henderson, Robertson, Matip, Alexander-Arnold, Elliot.

Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Thiago, Keita, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jota, Minamino, Tsimikas.

Chelsea XI: Mendy, Rudiger, Alonso, Christensen, Jorginho, Kante, Lukaku, Mount, James, Azpilicueta, Havertz.

Subs: Arrizabalaga, Silva, Kovacic, Werner, Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah, Hudson-Odoi, Chilwell, Ziyech.

For people who have been saying they will pick the big hitters based on fixtures, how do you plan to do that? Theoretically you wouldn't have picked Salah vs Chelsea.

Well it’ll be based on probability. You could always get a game where it doesn’t work, that’s the risks of fpl

Yes, probably directly because I sold Salah.
If I had kept him he’d have missed the penalty and Kane would have gone mental tomorrow, whilst Pukki wouldn’t have had a fortunate penalty.

While evidence suggests otherwise and Chelsea are no baseline (they are arguably the ceiling). It's clear we (yep im an LFC fan) are missing quality options off the subs bench. I Can't fault the effort today though and i thought we were the better side in both halves.

Of course, nobody else is in it

If city don't sign a striker I can't see them keeping up pace, but Liverpool need to keep the best 11 fit pretty much all year. Can't see past Chelsea winning it

He'll score goals. Only captain him against weaker teams though when he doesn't have to dribble and is just parked in their box. Like against Arsenal.

He was always good with his back to goal, hold up play and finishing, but a bit clumsy in decision making/dribbling towards goal; he's improved those 2 aspects and the runs he makes now are so intelligent (twice could've been put in for a 1 on 1 in the first half if Kante, Mount and Havertz got their heads up).

You can also see the togetherness, even the group hug at the end of the match, Lukaku has matured into a leader and will be the focal point of Chelsea's attack all season.

When he stood on the ball definitely....TBF he is a lot better but he had a typical United game today strangely.

Good luck. I'm mostly scared of Son, possible that a United clean sheet or Shaw haul could hurt you.

Why was Firmino withdrawn? No injury I take it, potentially encouraging sign for Jota owners?

Doesn't look it to me. Looks like the United player to me. Touch lets him down and this is presumably when he'll be most fired up to play.

He'll still bag goals cause the team around his quality but I don't think he's the best forward in the league or anywhere close.

Avoiding Mahrez and Tsimikas price drop to accomodate DCL and Ronaldo is not enough to pop WC so early right?

WC just to for that? No, there'll be plenty better occasions where you'll regret not having it.

          My honest opinion,

          1. Stay away from Chelsea assets, it is going to be a bigger rotation hell hole than Pep roulette.

          2. Triple up on City, choose carefully...

          3. Salah is the best player to have.

          4. Pick your poison between VVD and TAA.

          5. Antonio is the game changer as long as he is fit.

          6. Using your WC either goes tits up or delivers.

          7. Using your WCdoesnot mean you won't make changes thefollowing week.

          8. That is fantasy football.

          Salah vs Leeds

          Or

          Bruno vs Newcastle?

Will be owning Cr7 as well.

The CR7 Newcastle thing is gonna be one of the great fpl moments one way or another, can smell it

              I’ll probably go Bruno

Going to try piggyback into the probable 6 or 7 goals (12 or 14 attacking returns) that Utd can easily generate with the CR7 show whipping the place up to fever pitch

You heard what it was like when they unveiled Varane before Leeds - multiply that by 10 and then square it to get the atmosphere for CR7’s return

              Could be 10-0

Don't underrate Lukaku because of this game, VVD is the cream of the crop as is matip and he wasn't doing too badly when it was 11 v 11.

That said his touch control etc hasn't got better, but he just is slimmer and faster. Going to be a great option all year round Chelsea are just so good at creating chances

Should go well for you, Leeds seem to have Burnley's number and kane loved playing the minnows

Liverpool don't make signings. They must have a complete squad right? A left back on with 5 to go when needing a goal. Lol.
