Kane and Son start as Llorente returns for Leeds

Two Premier League matches kick off at 2pm BST today – Burnley v Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur v Watford.

At Burnley, Sean Dyche makes just one change as Ashley Westwood (£5.4m) recovers from a toe injury to replace Jack Cork (£4.5m) in the Clarets engine room, while Ashley Barnes (£5.5m) partners Chris Wood (£6.9m) up front.

For Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United, Diego Llorente (£4.5m) returns at centre-half with Junior Firpo (£4.9m) and Mateusz Klich (£5.5m) missing from the matchday squad.

As expected, Patrick Bamford (£7.9m) leads the line, with Raphinha (£6.5m), Rodrigo (£6.4m) and Jack Harrison (£5.9m) supporting him.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane (£12.3m) starts his first Premier League match of the season for Tottenham Hotspur following his mid-week European brace, with Lucas Moura (£6.5m) dropping out of the starting XI.

Moussa Sissoko (£4.5m) is straight into the Watford side to face his former club following his move from Spurs last week, along with Joshua King (£5.5m), Francisco Sierralta (£4.4m) and Juraj Kucka (£5.5m).

      I'm happy to own for the moment, just have to hope that once they play a few more games together under the new coach they can start scoring more. And until players similarly priced like Sancho start scoring big I'm contempt

        Would you be still considering Gray while getting DCL?

        Tempted by Torres but already had Gundo for the first two weeks and it ended badly.
        Is it even worth considering City assets for like next 2 GWs - Jesus or Torres?
        Or just don't bother?

        Sarr and Adama looking good considering their fixtures as well but sound dodgy at the same time.

        Any words of wisdom?

          Feel like there’s a lack of clear midfield options decides Salah and Raph. I think one of Torres/Jota and one of Adama/Gray is best for balance

            I think Jota is emerging as a clear option now alongside Mo & Raph tbf, whether he starts or is benched, he invariably gets it done

            That 4th midfield slot is more for short term punting based on form & fixtures etc

            Are you sure about that? Aren't many games where it's clear before the final whistle which was the winning goal - 2-1, 3-2, 1-0 etc. - which is why it's always been added after full time.

              Son would have got the winning goal +3 BPS added the second his goal is added.

              It's then altered through a game if there's more goals.

          Kane has to be the worst premium this season. Spurs too defensive, lack creative midfield and their approach would be more cleansheets to scoring more goals. Out of my team for probably good this season

              I have been watching them since last season. Their build up play is too slow for a top team, and Son/Kane are the only players carrying them. The new coach is good but he seems more defensive approach first. Its frustratint watching them for long, maybe it's Mourinho's effect but its not encouraging.

            Leeds struggled to create too many chances, but Bamford looked lively, took his goal well and imo he looks more threatening with Rodrigo playing behind him.

            Raphinha was stuck out on the wing for most of the game, one good chance but fluffed it.

          I look at the first 3 weeks and I have made some questionable decisions. Ignored Bruno for a better spread of wealth. Got lucky with Son. Refused to think Spurs could continue with clean sheets. Got lucky with Ings. No DCL with my grav would you believe. Wasted money on Martinez. Not finished yet and Bruno can hurt me over Greenwood but 300k I can live with.

                I’d possibly class that as more of a knock - he had to go off but it didn’t prevent him starting - but he is a man of glass either way, always teetering on the verge of breaking

              That might be a problem for next gw but the only real option i would look at is cr7 and i dont think i can afford to shuffle anyone else to get him in instead of lukaku, maybe if he is 11.5?
