Cristiano Ronaldo’s FPL price and position revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo has finally been priced up by Fantasy Premier League (FPL) following the completion of his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.

The 36-year-old striker has been listed as a forward in FPL and comes in at £12.5m, making him the joint-most expensive player in the game alongside Mohamed Salah.

Ronaldo is £1.0m pricier than Romelu Lukaku (£11.5m) and some £400k dearer than Bruno Fernandes (£12.1m), who many Fantasy managers are seemingly offloading in order to fund a move for his incoming compatriot.

The former Juve and Real Madrid man’s FPL price, as is the case with all new additions, will be locked for seven days upon his Tuesday lunchtime inclusion in the game.

Fernandes remains, for now, the most-owned player in the game despite the 100,000+ sales since the Gameweek 3 deadline.

    Advice appreciated - fairly set on this:

    Sanchez
    TAA, Shaw, Dier
    Salah, Jota/Greenwood, Raphinha, Benrahma
    Ronaldo, Antonio, DCL

    (Foster, Coady, Livramento, Sissoko)

    I will have Lukaku & Greenwood in GW4 and then swap Lukaku & Jota/Greenwood for Salah & DCL in GW5 for the above Team.

    Any better 4.6 and 4.5 than Dier & Coady? Wolves fixtures look awesome.

      Personally i love it! that front three is mouthwatering, and i actually would say it makes up for whatever lacks in mid also, and that's not a lot! Defence is different but it has TAA 🙂

      I like to have a balanced team so personally I wouldn't do it if I felt it was too top-heavy with a weak bench but I've made made good few drafts where I think it feels good.

      Your best bets are probably reguilon, fornals, matip from people selling trent to fund cr7, torres or maaybe conor gallagher as an enabler who just got a brace. That's what you mean right? Bring someone in on wildcard and make a 0.1 profit from

      Defence is horrendous. Alonso will be out soon and 3 4.0s is a no go for me.

      I'd upgrade the defence with that 1.2m ITB. Look at a Wolves defender perhaps, and/or Spurs

        All it needs is one upgrade and he has 5 starters.

        Alonso is still gonna feature just maybe not every week and he will have cover.

        Shaw will come good or they can move him on eventually.

        Missing a Pool defender notoriously TAA but it's definitely not horrendous

                That's my point, he's hardly rotated except for necessity. Don't see Alonso dropping any time soon. With set-piece responsibilities also you would think he's more nailed, plus his freedom to get forward as a wingback is only making him more dangerous and a Chelsea side most have tipped to challenge for the title now means surely clean sheets?

    Thinking of doing a baby wildcard (-8 hit) next week and then saving my wild card well into the first half of the season.

    This week: Ings -> DCL
    Next week: Bruno/Toney/Tsimikas -> Raphinha/Ronaldo/Ayling

    Gives me:

    Salah Greenwood Raphinha Benrahma Brownhill

    Pretty close to what I'd want to wildcard to, but for only -8. Then I can use FTs to go Shaw/Ronaldo to James/Lukaku when the Man U and Chelsea Fixtures turn. Sound reasonable?
