Mark Sutherns is back alongside Andy on the eve of Gameweek 5 to reveal his latest thoughts and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) line-up over on our YouTube channel.

This video is an exclusive for Premium Members – and there’ll be plenty more to come in 2021/22.

In this latest episode, Andy and the FPL BlackBox co-host look ahead to Friday’s evening deadline and the opening Gameweek clash between Newcastle United and Leeds United. Though, at the time of recording, the pair have both turned their backs on Marcelo Bielsa’s much-fancied attack.

The Michail Antonio (£7.9m) decision dominates the early exchanges, while Mark lends his thoughts on replacements for the stricken Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£8.2m).

Mark offers a positive review of Andy’s 4-5-1 but is left doubting his own captaincy decision when it’s suggested that Romelu Lukaku (£11.6m) could even outstrip the overwhelming armband favourite, Mohamed Salah (12.5m)

      Robbo is my favourite player, but I don't love him as a fantasy asset this year. He doesn't seem to be creating the chances that he has in the past. Feel like downgrading him to James (or more) would let you improve your midfield a bunch.

        thanks, but i think robbo will outscore the like of pogba/jota/greenwood/torres this season. who u suggest in and out for mid if i downgrade robbo? my plan is to replace laporte to james at gw6, city away at chelsea and i voted for home.

      Your Gray/Sissoko is my Torres/Gallagher with a cheap 3rd striker.

        Yeah, I'm tempted to have Greenwood instead of Gray and a much weaker back line, but the idea of having both TAA and James is just so tempting (which you clearly agree with haha).

    Can’t remember who started the Broja rumors but they may be onto something, he’s definitely one to watch for those going into GW7/8 WC. Even Elyounoussi will be one to watch, just a shame the Southampton squad is stacked so tough to pick someone other than JWP who’s fully nailed

      Yes, Broja is an interesting option, definitely.
      His last few performances, away for Albania and then against West Ham has him firmly in the frame for selection.

      One to watch, yes. When I ditch Antonio after he inevitably pings, I'll be looking for a cheaper alternative. Am monitoring the likes of Broja and Hwang, although the cheapest good option will more likely be Edouard.

            I'd expect for those 'favourable' fixtures that we will play a 2 up top.
            Armstrong considering his game in the press I'd say is the most nailed, as of typing this.

    This team leaves 0.8m itb. Team value isn't great
    Don't like dead ending a position, is Scarlett the best FWD option if playing one of White/Livra/Gallagher each week
    There's a fear of not owning a United player but can't have them all. Could do Pogba instead of Torres else spend that money on Grealish over Torres.
    Ideally want a city defender but think that can wait til GW8

        Gallagher over Gray long term but probably not an every week player still a good bench option
        Antonio over Torres but i've started slowly so don't want to bench Ant - rather switch between he and Bamf. I also have poor team value 100.4
        As for James comment above, my only concern is if he gets cameos where Rudiger seems safer there but less upside

      Would you consider Scarlett to Dennis for Watford next 3 games, and to give you another playing option, then can drop him to a 4.5 or even a 4.4 later on when you want to upgrade elsewhere?

            He does, but it's the City defence. I can see McA coming away with 2 points this GW, and any Saints defender with nil. I'm alright though - in addition to Liv, I've got Duffy to step into the Antonio breach.

      Semedo has nearly double Marcal's xGI and is 100% nailed. Ait-Nouri isn't bad and could get a run if Marcal doesn't perform

    Hi all - could I get thought on whether to bring in Semedo or James purely based on this gameweek?

    It sounds like James has quite a good shout to get a clean sheet with spurs injuries woes and just think he has a better chance for an attacking return - but is Semedo the much more sensible pick?

        Probably but not for certain. After Leeds Im not too keen on keeping West Ham players anyway (due to fixtures and Europa) so Im fairly happy to cash in on Antonio and play the fixtures with Bam and Jimi
