Mark Sutherns’ FPL Gameweek 6 preview and latest team plans

Mark Sutherns makes his usual Friday night return alongside Andy on the eve of Gameweek 6 to reveal his latest thoughts and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) line-up over on our YouTube channel.

This video is an exclusive for Premium Members – and there’ll be plenty more to come in 2021/22.

Mark will be filming one video just for subscribers every week throughout the upcoming campaign, so sign up via this link in order to see them.

This week we find Mark preparing for an afternoon of anguish as he goes in without Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.7m) and with no less than three Chelsea players as they take on Man City.

Andy, meanwhile, is feeling far more confident about the Gameweek, off the back of a green arrow and with a certain Watford winger newly installed in his line-up ahead a visit from an injury-strewn Newcastle United.

Find out their thoughts on the captaincy debate, going big at the back and watch out for an appearance from a certain Wizard towards the end, forcing Mark to fumble for the mute button.

Subscribers can view the embedded video below:

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Are we too concerned about Chelsea playing City when Pep has never beaten Tuchel? I'm carrying two City players and that seems more concerning to me

My guess is either draw or Chelsea will win by narrow margin. I cant see chelsea conceding with no Aguero this time

Aguero scored 4 goals last season and 2 of those came after they won the league. He was irrelevant to their title win

Aguero is aguero who scored no matter what the team was. He was a constant threat.. Without a proper forward i dont think scoring goals will be as easy against tuchels chelsea as people thinks.

He wasn't last season. I literally just told you how many he scored 😆 City scored 83 goals (more than any other team) and he scored 4 of those goals, 2 after they won the league.

              The point is simple
              * without a proper forward ( who was world class ), scoring goals Against tuchels chelsea will be difficult *

The point is simple. Without a proper forward, they scored 79 of their 83 goals last season. Just look at facts instead of simping for Aguero, please

Just leave last season and leave aguero.

They Don't Have proper forward. They dont Have lampard as coach. They struggle to score Against spurs at home lol and now its Stamford Bridge.

Anything can happen any time..that's football. So dont jump into conclusions.

What conclusion did I jump into? Never said City would score. Just dismissing your Aguero argument as he was irrelevant last season

Aguero used to score against anyone for almost 10 years may be? Aged old aguero's stats who was leaving city, is irrelevant

So your argument is that without Prime Aguero of 10 years ago, they can't score today. Great. That's really useful insight

My argument is without a proper forward ( who was aguero) it will be tough to beat tuchels chelsea. Simple as that

If someone doesnt score well in one season, have bad 1 year, but is a world class forward who used to scored for 10 years, how do we conclude that he wont score the next season.

In three games against Tuchel's Chelsea last season they scored once (Sterling). Aguero played in that game but not the other two. I'm not trying to make a point, just saying.

I reckon Chelsea might win again, 1-0 is my guess.

The point is Pep keep changing his forward false 9

We all know Sterling can play that position, Jesus, Torres etc but Pep just love to screw things up (or overthink) when things start to gel

Thoughts on this lot? 1FT 0.8 ITB

Was thinking Bamford and Webster to Armstrong and Alonso.
Leaves me enough ITB to get Rudiger in for Ayling next week.

Nah I'll hold out this he, involves getting rid of Jota and Greenwood who have good fixtures this week

Cavani is fit again this weekend which will likely affect greenwoods gametime

Yeah I heard that, I'm expecting Greenwood to play 65 minutes and to come off for Cavani after scoring a goal

Hang on, why are you taking a -8 next week when you could use a transfer this week?

            Something like

Pukki Jota Greenwood Shaw --> Lukaku Gallagher
            Gray/Raphina 4.5MID

4.5 mid or def? May as well sell shaw this week. He isnt outperforming anyone by 4pts and will save you the hit

Just trying to work out the maths.

If both Ronaldo and Antonio score 9 points (for example), would I gain more rank from having (c) Ronaldo with high ownership than Antonio?

      Zero gain either way

It only matters when they score differently

      Bruh

Let's see. 9 points vs 9 points. I would say 9 points wins

Evening all. Which one please? 0m ITB + 1FT. Cheers.

    Sanchez
    TAA - Shaw - Livramento
    Salah - Raphinha - Jota - Benrahma
    Ronaldo - Antonio - Bamford

    (Steele) - Marcal - White - Brownhill

    A) Bamford > Armstrong/ASM/King.
    B) Bamford + Brownhill > Arm/ASM/King + Sarr (-4)
    C) Save.

Almost same team with Torres and Reguilon instead of Jota and White. I’m thinking of Bamford to ASM myself
