Mark Sutherns’ FPL Gameweek 6 preview and latest team plans

Mark Sutherns makes his usual Friday night return alongside Andy on the eve of Gameweek 6 to reveal his latest thoughts and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) line-up over on our YouTube channel.

This video is an exclusive for Premium Members – and there’ll be plenty more to come in 2021/22.

Mark will be filming one video just for subscribers every week throughout the upcoming campaign, so sign up via this link in order to see them.

This week we find Mark preparing for an afternoon of anguish as he goes in without Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.7m) and with no less than three Chelsea players as they take on Man City.

Andy, meanwhile, is feeling far more confident about the Gameweek, off the back of a green arrow and with a certain Watford winger newly installed in his line-up ahead a visit from an injury-strewn Newcastle United.

Find out their thoughts on the captaincy debate, going big at the back and watch out for an appearance from a certain Wizard towards the end, forcing Mark to fumble for the mute button.

Subscribers can view the embedded video below:

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Play one:

    A. Tsimiks (bre)
    B. Toney (LIV)
    C. Buendia (mun)
    D. Kovacic (MCI)

      B or C

      Probably B

      maybe B.
Tsimikas most likely not playing. Kovacic is just not a good fpl option overall and a bad fixture. Brentford is the more solid team than Villa at the moment, that's why Toney gets the edge from Buendia. plus Toney on pens.

Buendia for me, if he starts United are not good defending counter attacks and i guess he is on some set pieces too. Toney is a 2 pointer, maybe 1 pointer with a yellow (got many bookings in championship). Robertson will start and Kovacic is also a 2 pointer with prospect of a booking there as well as up against Citys midfield.

Morning all, chance of fielding only two defenders this week but not sure it’s worth using the FT, thoughts?

    Sanchez
    TAA James Livramento
    Salah Benrahma Sarr Doucoure
    Ronaldo(c) Lukaku Antonio

Steele Sissoko Tsimikas Ayling 1FT 0.1 ITB

    A) Save FT and GTG
    B) Ayling to White for bench cover
    C) James to Rudiger - but would want to get James in as well down the line

    Bamford >? For FT

A- King (risky punt but good fixtures and I think he is nailed)
    B- ASM
    C- Armstrong

yeah. Dennis is better if we want to get Watford forward.
but I don't follow Watford news closely so not really sure

With Joao Pedro coming back im not sure about him either. Watford have good depth at striker

King is the striker, and nailed. Dennis plays left winger. King is also a decent pen taker with a very good track record, everyone is so sure it is Sarr on pens, om not that sure. To me, going Sarr over King on pens is like Son taking pens over Kane, both Son and Sarr is decent pen takers but not at the level og Kane and Kong, (no comparison between the pair of course, just to make an example)

Tough. Think I’d err on Allan (most likely 3 but could nick an assist).
NLD usually has goals in it so assume White gets 2 points.

Surs are cack though and Gooneers defence markedly improved last few. Not quite so clear cut. I would go white as possibility of a cleanie and Allan likely max of 3 or if conceded only the 2.

    Do I burn a FT?
The players I want to get rid of (Digne, Doucoure, Shaw, Bruno) all have great fixtures this week, and their likely replacements have tough games (Dias, Alonso etc).
    Or switch Sanchez?

    Sanchez
    TAA Shaw Digne Livra
    Salah Bruno Raph Doucoure
    Antonio Lukaku

    Steele White Gilmour Scarlett

Hm with Villa playing with 2 strikers in Watkins and Ings you would think, if Smith continues to play that system he will need a striker to come on to replace them some time/mintes, but he also have the likes of Traore, El ghazi who could slot into one of those positions.
