Bissouma absent as Edouard makes first start for Palace

In the final match of Gameweek 6, Crystal Palace host Brighton and Hove Albion at Selhurst Park in the M23 derby.

Kick-off is at 20:00 BST.

Odsonne Edouard (£6.5m) makes his first start for Palace, having scored twice as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 4.

Luka Milivojevic (£5.4m) also features in the starting XI, with Cheikhou Kouyate (£4.5m) and Christian Benteke (£6.3m) dropping to the bench alongside Jeremy Schlupp (£5.4m), who has recovered from a thigh problem.

Eberechi Eze (£5.9m) and Nathan Ferguson (£4.5m) remain sidelined.

As for Brighton, a win at Selhurst Park tonight would see them go top of the Premier League.

Robert Sanchez (£4.6m) and Shane Duffy (£4.3m) – who are currently owned by 25.4% and 22.5% of FPL managers respectively – both start, but Yves Bissouma (£4.6m) misses out with a knee injury and is replaced by Pascal Gross (£6.0m).

Dan Burn (£4.4m) is also in for Solly March (£5.4m).

Tariq Lamptey (£4.4m) again makes the bench, with Graham Potter stating last week that they will carefully manage his return to fitness.

GAMEWEEK 6 LINE-UPS

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Milivojevic, McArthur, Gallagher, Ayew, Zaha, Edouard

Subs: Butland, Kouyate, Kelly, Clyne, Schlupp, Hughes, Olise, Mateta, Benteke

Brighton XI: Sanchez, Veltman, Dunk, Duffy, Burn, Cucurella, Gross, Lallana, Trossard, Maupay, Welbeck

Azpilicueta is a better FPL option than Rudiger, especially short term.

If your thinking just cause James is injured there won't be rotation in the Chelsea defence I would disagree with that

without James he'll surely get more game time then he would otherwise. I agree there will be rotation but not sure if Rudiger is more nailed on than Azpilicueta.

      Points per start this season

      Azpi - 4.4
      Rudi - 5.67

      Shots this season

      Azpi - 1
      Rudi - 4

      Price

      Azpi - 6
      Rudi - 5.6

      Looks a no brainer tbh

xA paints a different picture. Also Rudiger's career average is 2 goals and assist as season, Azpi has way higher ceiling.

I’ve already done Torres > ESR, someone talk me out of taking a -8 and doing Jota & Bamford > Gallagher/Sarr and Lukaku…

    Sanchez
    Trent - Rudiger - Marcal
    Salah - Jota - ESR - Gray
    Antonio - Bamford - Cr7

Bench: Steele - Livra - Sissoko - Williams

There's something a bit surprising about the returns of Foden and KDB

They haven't threatened Grealish. At all

Foden's been a direct threat to Torres at false 9, and KDB threatens that Bilva/Gündo AM axis

Seems it's Grealish + Jesus nailed with Sterling + Mahrez as second tier

Which is rather weird, because Sterling and Mahrez were first choice for so long

    1. Big_Andy_GAWA

He started the first, and probably benched himself (in Pep's eyes) with his performance in that loss

One thing: Jesus. He's been so good as a right winger and now scored such an important goal. It will be very hard for Mahrez to dislodge him.

4-4-2 that City employed to press Chelsea could be just one off. Nothing certain there yet, though I agree that Mahrez and Sterling are second string now. Surprising for Mahrez, but Jesus put up some good performances. Sterling is not part of the best City 11 since the spring, imo.

Sorry, 4-4-2? It's posted as the usual 4-3-3 in most places:

        Ederson
        Usual back 4
        B. Silva Rodri KDB
        Jesus Foden Jack

Not much of a question is it if it's limited to 5.5m.

Covid is a factor for sure but also cuts in oil production by western country's to satisfy carbon emissions standards along with over regulation and underpay in the haulage sector are playing into shortages also.

Mixed fixtures and Firmino's return makes me feel like it could be time to ship. But maybe I could hold on and possibly sell Greenwood for GW8.

I think I'd rather have Raphinha despite the -4. Raph could make that up this week.

Thanks. I'm tempted by sure. It would be my first hit of the season!

Ship Greenwood. Fixtures take a huge dip after GW 8, plus he isn't the same after Ronnie arrived.

That's not David Luiz on the left of Brighton's midfield is it?

It's David Luiz's and Benoit Assou-Ekotto's love child.

What minute will Lallana go off injured?

      a) 68
      b) 71
      c) 76
      d) he’s been taking horse placenta supplements, he could do extra time

      I’m wildcarding next week.

With that in mind, thoughts on a Salah and Shaw to Rudiger for -4?

Everton have been a bit rubbish and can see a big united response

Don’t take a hit the week before you wildcard, it doesn’t have enough time to pay back.
