Mark Sutherns’ FPL Gameweek 13 preview and latest team plans

Andy North and Mark Sutherns drop into their regular Friday night slot for another laid-back look at the key Fantasy Premier League (FPL) talking points ahead of Gameweek 13.

Ben Chilwell‘s (£6.0m) injury, coupled with some early Sunday night transfers, has forced Mark to take only his second hit of the season. However, when it’s Marcos Alonso (£5.6m) coming in, he seems more than happy to take his medicine.

As for Andy, he’s closing the gap on Mark after another green arrow and, having resisted a hasty move for Reece James (£6.1m), is still considering his own hit to swap out Phil Foden (£8.3m) for Diogo Jota (£7.6m).

    I had to take my first -4 hit of the season for Chilwell >> Alonso, because I did an early transfer of Mbeumo >> Gallagher to avoid being priced out… I kind of regret that early transfer now…

      Same here, regret an early move which I never usually do. Dias>James.

      But you have Antonio on the bench if Foden doesn't play, but I have a crap bench. I am thinking of moving Foden to Jota for a -8, as I am worried he is out wide, and maybe injured for two or more GW's with their squad

        Have 2FT and want alonso in. This means that I am -0.5 off so need to do 2 transfers. Could do Foden > gundo and roll a transfer and play Both gallagher and white but than no Alonso.

      Id maybe go Perica to another fodder or Antonio to ASM and bench. Dont burn a Ft

      King seems better from various metrics (stats, yellow card, rotations) but there is the price difference there. If not planning to play a 3rd striker very often, Dennis could work. Noticed Watford rotate quite well with Newcastle as they have NOR/BUR when WAT has CHE/MCI in 14/15 and Watford have BUR/CRY when NEW has LIV/MCI in 17/18…
