Double Gameweek 22 match between Burnley and Leicester postponed

Burnley and Leicester City will now only have a ‘single’ Gameweek at best after the Premier League confirmed on Friday that Saturday’s match between the two clubs has been postponed.

This time it was the Clarets who submitted a postponement application due to a number of injuries and Covid-19 cases within their first-team squad.

Sean Dyche’s side are, of course, also scheduled to be in action next Tuesday against Watford, so it remains to be seen whether the situation at Turf Moor has improved sufficiently for that fixture to go ahead.

Leicester’s one and only Gameweek 22 match is now at home to Tottenham Hotspur next Wednesday.

This latest postponement means that Burnley and Leicester now each have four outstanding league fixtures to rearrange, with the Foxes’ Gameweek 27 match against Chelsea now needing to be rescheduled due to the Blues qualifying for the EFL Cup final on the same weekend.

    Captain is now very difficult:

    Not tanking the chance on Ronaldo
    Kane maby the best option, but could also only get a sgw away to Leicester, which isn't too solid at the back.
    Dennis/King also look like good options, but could also get their match against Bur called off?
    Bruno not at all on form (0g 0 assists last 3 gws), even if on pens, there are much fewer pens this year.

      Still thinking about Kane or Ronaldo. Actually rightnow leaning more towards Ronaldo, since as you said Kane might get a SGW. Although your right Ronaldo has warning signs as well, little injury ,fatigue, not in form team,and so on.

      Other options feel like punts. So even more uncertainty as with Kane and Ronaldo.

    Since FH is likely off the cards for most. Little risk in Utd games based on recent performances - Ronaldo aside is anyone actually going to perm transfer in their assets. After which there is Spurs lacking Son and Chelsea with two difficult fixtures - figure I'll just play the single favourable fixtures - the closer to the start of the GW the better!
