Man City v Newcastle team news: Bernardo, Foden and Mahrez all benched

In the final Premier League match of the day, Manchester City host Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

Pep Guardiola makes four changes from the side that lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez drop out, while Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ilkay Gundogan, Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling come into the starting XI.

As for Newcastle, they make three changes, as Jamaal Lascelles, Sean Longstaff and Chris Wood replace Fabian Schar, Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Willock.

Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson, meanwhile, make their returns from injury as substitutes.

          Might be the time to be bold and lose Salah. He’s not looking all that great lately. High risk move but with potentially high reward. Most are gonna stick with him, and should his form continue there are gains to be made if one nails his replacement. Not saying I will do this move, just saying that there is gold in that there hill for the brave

          That said, it might be the week for Southampton’s annual 9-0 curbstomping

          Looks good. Would rather Liverpool v Southampton than City Hammers, particularly with defensive problems. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to drop Salah but Mane could be a good move

            It’s hard to find extra 1.4m for Salah if I got TAA over Cancelo. Salah won’t be capped much and Mane loves scoring against his former club so tempted to take a punt on him. Will keep an eye Myko news.

          Most teams GW37 prior to free hit are pretty great so if you got about 15-20 than your old team it would be great.

              Very possibly yeah. You have 10k people watching deadline streams of LetsTalkFPL for example, who’s pretty good at the game and a large chunk of those and other players just copy content creators’ teams.
