With the new Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season up and running, we’re welcoming back our team of Pro Pundits, Hall of Famers and guest contributors for the new campaign.

Gameweek 3 is over, and all in all, it was a reasonably good one for me.

Fortunately, I picked Andreas Pereira (£4.5m) over Pedro Neto (£5.3m) and Neco Williams (£4.1m) in my starting XI, with his eight-pointer helping me reach 50 overall.

The Marc Cucurella (£5.1m) transfer wasn’t great, but I’m hopeful that can still work out given Chelsea’s fixtures against Leicester City (h), Southampton (a), West Ham United (h) and Fulham (a) in the next four.

So, in this, my latest column, I’m going to highlight a couple of match-ups I like the look of in Gameweek 4, using a combination of ‘eye test’ analysis and data from our Premium Members Area.

Given the tight turnaround between fixtures in Gameweeks 4-6, I’ll also flag up any additional players who I think could benefit in future rounds.

        This. Unless Cancelo returns to RB, i don’t see him as being worthy of a spot in my team. He’s far less effective going forward when playing LB.

        Yes I don't see why it's not liked, there proven year in year out in there teams, plus there like the most unlikeliest to be rotated in there teams, and can haul at any time

          I think Andy from Let's Talk FPL said a previous season when you spend big on a player they should have C potential. You can only C 1 player per week so are you ruining team structure having multiple big money players when a cheaper player can score as well and you have a more balanced team. People with 4.5m 3rd strikers are destroying cash generation potential and will fall behind later on when they are millions worse off in TV vs other teams

            I think that applies more to Threemium teams - which this isn’t.
            Most people have Mo & Haaland (+Trent, Cancelo & Jesus).
            I think it’s a great team bar Welbeck. He just doesn’t appeal for fantasy at all

      Get Saliba if you can.

      At least one of the 8m mids could come crawling out from underneath their rock.

      There is also Saka and Bowen fwiw

      If your midfield is structured in a way to no easy access of an 8m, then not a good spot to find yourself in.

    I was vocally against Neto before the season started but brought him in due to FOMO.

    He's now dropped to 5.3m. I was going to put him 1st bench this week - to me it makes more sense to play Trippier? Any other thoughts - would be Gross otherwise?

    Will try and get rid of Neto with 2FT next week.

        Cucurella is a no go for me especially this GW. No koulibaly means they’re short on CB’s which means a big chance of Cucu/James dropping into the position. Also, Chilwell is around.

      Not for me. I like Cucu but James certainly more nailed. I think if you have a solid 1A bench option it's not bad and you can alwasy revert back to James if Cucu is benched.

    With the CL draw as it is, do we think most of the time the bigger risks like Haaland and Perisisc will more likely play in the PL?
