The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Saturday’s matches all on one screen.

As well as LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points from the day’s FPL action, we’re bringing you a selection of the Opta stats that arrive in our Premium Members Area almost immediately after full-time in each fixture.

Ivan Toney (£7.1m) was the top-scoring player of the day with a Haaland-esque 17-point haul, while Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.8m) and Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it six attacking returns in as many matches with goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Fulham.

Erling Haaland (£11.9m) hit the 10-goal mark after scoring in Manchester City’s draw with Aston Villa, meanwhile.

Budget defender Neco Williams (£4.1m) also popped up with an assist in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, while Kieran Trippier (£5.1m) inched his way into second in the FPL defenders’ points table with another clean sheet.

They were rare success stories on a pretty grim day for well-owned FPL assets such as Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Luis Diaz (£8.2m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), Marc Cucurella (£5.2m), Reece James (£6.0m), Ivan Perisic (£5.6m), Dejan Kulusevski (£8.2m), Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) and Son Heung-min (£11.7m), who all blanked.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news in extraa detail, will follow.

ta - leaves me 0.1 ITB so can probably afford to wait until deadline (unless Sancho scores a brace later today and goes up in price) to do the move in case of injuries. Salah won't double drop hopefully either

iirc wildcards don't affect price changes, so by extension, no

It’s not a wildcard though - it’s a period of ‘unlimited transfers’. I’m not saying there will be price changes, but it’s possible.

After yesterday I'm pretty sure that there is a special place in hell for Premiere League refs and VAR brigade.
Decisions like that can really ruin football, naive me would hope that those reposnsible for match fixing in West Ham & Villa games will be held responsible but the we all they will just shrug it off and do it again,.and again and again...

    Disgusting.

The fact there is no recourse against bad decisions is the biggest frustration. Referees are over protected and don’t appear to have to answer for ridiculous, game changing decisions.

VAR has been implemented so poorly in the Premier League since it’s inception too.

        • 14 Years

Apologies, a bit off topic, but it's good to see refs let a bit more physicality go this season. Spurs and Fulham was a great game with more hitting allowed.

Since VAR there have been fewer wrong decisions. Not perfect but it’s better than it was

Without VAR yesterday's goal for WHU stands, as the referee didn't see any foul (rightly so).
Because of VAR and Mendy's Oscar winning performance referee who surely man lacking of mora spine and confidence doubts himself and give into home crowd and Tuchels pressure.

Referees can't make decisions anymore they double guessing everything and it's ruining the game.

they are not supposed to re referee but that's exactly what they are doing, wrongly on occasions.

            It happens quite often.
How you can get it so wrong ?
I'm old school game without VAR was better now it's just a tool to help the teams favoured by certain circles.

I feel sick today thinking about it.

      fwiw

      I don't think it's match fixing explicitly.

Just incompetence from 2 blokes in a video suite mic'ed up to 4 officials at the stadium. At least 4 complicit.

It's the freeze frame that's misleading. You need to watch the natural momentum play out.

    Haaland, Mitro are essential imo.

Finding myself on Toney as a 3rd forward over Jesus and Kane. Price, fixtures, form, nailed and Son/Martinelli seem the better picks for Arsenal and Spurs (stats wise).

    Thoughts?

it's an overused term now isn't it. I suppose given the standards of the Prem a lot of a players in it would start in a lot of teams in a lot of leagues all over the world though

Stop. A striker clean in on goal, kicks the ball straight at the keeper who stops it with his chest, the keeper just made a 'World Class' save, for the Dog and Duck's thirds!

        not necessarily.

does playing in a world cup team not qualify you as world class?

Not many achieve that. or do you have to win it?

No - I agree with you. Traditionally (and to me) it means on of the best players in the world - just pointing out it is slightly subjective as it depends on what criteria you apply to the term

Nice summary. Darwin involved in plenty of the chances plus xG. This guy is going to get lots of points. Diaz is a serious threat as ddfenders do not know where he is with his runs.

Salah is still nicely involved for points as well.

Pickford will never have a game like that ever again.

I just like the look of triple LFC attack.

    Salah Kulusevski Martinelli Groß Andreas

2FTs and not sure I even want to make a transfer..? Thinking maybe Almiron -> Gordon, he looked a handful yesterday and Everton’s fixtures improving..

    Henderson
    TAA - Cancelo - Trippier - Neco
    Salah - Diaz - Martinelli
    Haaland - Jesus - Toney

    Ward - Almiron - Andreas - Patterson

Toney hattrick and Haaland (c) saved me as defenders gone binary again. Changed captaincy from Salah to Haaland in last 5 minutes

Thought I'd already hit rock bottom but this week is another level... 24 points, GW rank over 9M, Overall rank over 4M, continually punished heavily week on week, already used WC... surely it's not worth carrying on with this nonsense!

    Raya
    TAA, Trippier, Cancelo, James
    Salah, Zaha, Bernardo, Martinelli
    Jesus, Mitrovic

    Ward, Neco, Andreas, Archer

Obviously I've put off getting Haaland in for too long! My faith in Salah and Liverpool has destroyed me...

Well you just need Haaland in don't you

Just get Haaland and start making up ground little by little through other players.

Yep, should've started the season with him but overthought it... thought I could ride out the last couple of weeks due to the expected benching, but that didn't happen and Salah has been a let down as well as double Liverpool defence! Get Haaland in before Spurs though?

I understand that feeling but can that become your motivation, of sorts? To persist despite how bad it is right now. And yes, I think wait to see how both UCL games play out but then just get Haaland in and start edging your way back

6 GWs is nothing. You can get in the top 100k and better if you stick at it and make good decisions from here on in. See it as a challenge

Yeah it is still early in the season, I think the fact that I'm also in a head-to-head league isn't helping as I'm bottom of that even though my weekly scores aren't too bad so can be misleading but still demoralising! Haaland is definitely a priority, I've already brought in Trippier for Robbo this week and gained a 0.1 rise, so bringing in Haaland next week and going with the high EO captain could work, kind of feels like there's too much ground to make up now though!

Was Leeds' Harrison injured or was it a tactical change?

The sub didn't really make a difference as Leeds shipped three goals after Harrison went off

Is Kyle Walker still nailed on? Is he likely to be rotated? Ake replaced him on 80 mins yesterday.

That VAR decision that went against West Ham was a shocker. If that happens at the other end the goal stands and Fabianski gets a yellow for taking out the striker.

Sorry mate, but Chelsea gets screwed over by incompetent officiating all the time. It's nice to get one go our way for a change. Having said that, there's no way West Ham's goal should have been disallowed.
