    Douglas Luiz..

Would he be a sell for you or a keep at this stage? Been doing really well (even from general play) and in a good attacking team. Seems to be growing into the role and could have hauled v City.

It's kind of 2 from him, Gordon and Palmer (if Mbuemo is out for a while).

Had penciled in him as an easy out for Palmer at this stage but not so sure now.

Hes my first off the bench for me
If I was playing 5 mids Id rather have Bailey
Even if Diaby starts Baileys been a terror when he comes on

    Kelleher
    Trippier, Gabriel, Tsimikas
    Salah, Saka, Bowen, Gordon, Palmer
    Haaland (c), Watkins

    Areola, Lascelles, Semenyo, Gusto

I am not sure what Chelsea’s back four status at the moment is but I did check Colwill out a couple of days ago as he is cheap and they have nice fixtures coming up but his minutes have not been consistent. Not concerned about this?

Just figured he can play anywhere along the back really. R. James too much at 5.4M given his likelihood to get injured (until we see a string of fixtures)

Just cross-referenced because look at his minutes for the season. He picked up a shoulder injury / withdrew from international duty between 12 & 13. Looks like he's recovered and straight back in as first choice.

    Cash, Mbuemo & Martinelli ->
    James, Son & Palmer

…makes sense right? Only 1FT so Mbuemo/Marti -> Son/Palmer (-4) this week and Cash -> James next week?

    Areola
    Gabriel, Lascelles, Cash
    Salah, Saka, Gordon, Martinelli, Mbuemo
    Haaland, Watkins

    Turner, Cash, Archer, Burn

            You said weeks, not months.

            GW9 = Oct 21st
            GW8 = Oct 7th

So don't chat waffle. Prior to that he had 0,3,2,0,1,0,1. So at what point did you say he was a good pick after he played two games in a row for more than 80 minutes (GW5 & 6) and then didn't get a minute and then got two goals in a three minute cameo where they were disgracefully losing to Brentford at home? Great tip.

I said he was a good pick after I saw him score two goals, also two of the fives games he blanked in were against were newcastle away and machester city at home, which is two of the stongest defences.

So he got two lucky goals in three minutes and he becomes a good pick with two of the best defences coming up in the next five games? BRUH 😀

What's the reason for the blanks against bottom half of the table Everton, Fulham and Luton? He's NEVER a good pick.

                    157 games, 17 goals
That's an average of a goal every NINE games which means he gets about four a season (at best) but he gets two in three minutes in one game and it's not lucky? You tipped him to be good and excluding this week he has one attacking return in six GWs, two in seven if you include tonight.

Wind your neck in lad and pipe down. AWFUL shout.

Also when I say "good pick" I meant good pick for the price, which is 4.8M, so he only has to be slightly better than useless to be a good pick at that price because it is so budget, also I think I said this before I knew Palmer was an option.

      Humble brag!!

I got this without the bonus point. Umming and Ahing about Diaby to Palmer or Hwang and then I thought, I’m tied up with work stuff, if in doubt leave it, Diaby will definitely play and City will concede, and Andersen will come off the bench with a haul for any non-starters.

I’m not even surprised or disappointed by the lack of points these days

Hmmm. Depends on what you want to do with Darwin. After the Palace game, which granted he's a guaranteed to start, his fixtures turn and his spot isn't exactly secure. If you intend to go back to Watkins, going cheaper like Hwang makes perfect sense

Particularly Forest who’ve just shipped 5 and are conceding 2 goals a game and Chelsea concede at a similar rate.

Popular choice, Palmer has Everton away who are far tighter than his last match against Utd who are the easiest team to score against (based on recent stats).

I may wait for Palmer and Watkins until next week and just do Mbeumo to Hwang

Alvarez to Jimenez, a move profound,
Echoes of glory, a quest unbound,
A shift in the game, a chess piece sly,
      A strategy formed, ambitions high.

In the arena of dreams, where legends meet,
A mirror of wills, a chance to compete,
Like jousting knights, in valor's spree,
The quest for triumph, it's destiny we see.

With that killer look, a fire alight,
In Jimenez's gaze, a fearless sight,
A kinship felt, as dreams take flight,
In pursuits of victory, burning bright.

So let the game unfold this week,
A saga writ, where passions peak,
Alvarez to Jimenez, a tale to seek,
In the arena of sport, where souls speak.

Somehow on 44 points after last nights games with only Trippier to go, Robert Sanchez in his first game off my bench for weeks for Areola with a massive 11 pointer in a crap week.

Got enough money in the bank to do Mbuemo to Son for free too, I must be one of the few who’s delighted with this week so far, wanted Son back but no real space before that injury.

I’m actually in two minds if I want Son back now that I can do it, what do you think? That 2.8m in the bank could strengthen other areas and someone like Hwang seems to be proving his worth as an alternative, I’d probably never C Son.

      Care Robinson's four yellows.
      Maguire a decent punt.
      Semedo over Toti?
      Not for me

    Start one

    a) Gvardiol @ Luton

    b) Porro (h) to Newcastle

      B

Lutton plays better at home and likely to score. In terms of attacking returns, Porro has a better chance.

Thoughts on what to do with this team? Have 2FTs and £0.6itb…

    Johnstone

    Trippier / Gabriel / Tsimikas

    Salah / Saka / Mbuemo / Diaz / Palmer

    Haaland / Alvarez

Subs: Areola / Eduoard / Taylor / Guehi

Anyone can comment how Alvarez looked yesterday? Want to see if he is worth keeping?

City just didn’t look at it, Villa were very good.

Surely they can’t drop points against Luton, I’m not sure it’s the week to lose him if you’ve held him.

Same with Nunez, I want to get rid quickly (it was a mistake) but having just been rested v Sheffield United, he’s surely starting V Palace.

Is Leno or Sánchez a better pick?

Both aren’t good picks imo but Leno if you must.

Which keepers do you rate as good picks atm?

None. They are all trash. Maybe it is better to pick cheap goalies instead. I prefer to have Dubravka over Sanchez.

Salah and Haaland blanks are nice to see as a non owner of both. Hoping Son (c) can haul tonight and capitalise.
