Those who triple captained this week, when are you playing AM? GW25 or save it for later?

I'm looking more and more likely to use it on Emery this week, later on is a minefield with BGW's etc

Yeah same thinking here..... going by this article, the most likely double in GW36 will be only NEW and CPL.....I am thinking of playing it on Emery this week.....then Arteta vs WHU and then Ange vs MCI to target table bonus

Thats 2 tfs though not on your players. Not interested in Iraeola with those fixtures? No table bonus, I appreciate that.

Nope...I would prefer targeting table bonus with this chip....think Spurs can beat MCI at home....they did beat them in the first meeting....and hopefully a lot of their players including their CB's will be fit by then
Also thinking on playing Perara against FUL at home in 27
One of Ange or Perara for sure

Its so difficult with GWs 25,29,30,33,34,36. AM would have been easier to plan if it had been in 1st half of season (table bonus issue aside)

In Hindsight it was probably better to TC Salah this week, but I did AM on Slot just for the 5 games compared to 3 or 4 later on.

Also, the chip is a bit unknown and I couldn't be bothered to think about it anymore haha

You don’t have hindsight yet, presumably you have another GW on your AM and your TC still to play. Your TC could still be a good one even if not as spectacular as Salah this week and those of us who TCd him may yet get a poor result from our AM

    4. Bod

I’m tempted by GW36, you get a double and you’ll be entering the period where some teams will have nothing to play for and others will be fighting for survival etc which could lead to some tasty results for the table bonus

I’m playing it this week. Slot double game week and only one week behind Slot AMers in 24. If you TCed in 24 it’s the best way to cement it

But then you need to match AM24ers when they TC in another GW with your AM GW 27 and then there's also whether you and / or they tf manager in GW 26 and if either do, who to...

Just finished with he TC chip. Already playing Slot for next four games now. Didn't seem any better time than now. If they don't win I am happy with that too.

I think those who used Assman this week instead of Salah TC may regret it long term. They cannot TC Salah this week and the obvious remaining TC would be a Haaland TC in a dgw, expensive and would need the wild card and unlikely to match the Salah haul of this week.

Id be amazed if he hauls another 87 tho. And AM24s cant use TC chip. Thats 3Ps main point.

Real dillema is if u have TC24 Salah, what to do with AM, especially with BGW29 on horizon in terms of manager tfs each week also to factor in.

Yea. 38 is normally high scoring. I'll probably use it on Isak in a double. But I would like a chip in 38, just to make it a bit more exciting. Still got BB too and FH.

I went with Moyes and it wasn't that bad. 22 points from Moyes vs 29 from Salah means I've "only" lost 7 points with my competitors. I know it will be difficult for me to find a TC later on who scores 29 points... But the same can be said for my competitors when they go for an AM. So no, I'm not regretting that much.

When they use AssMan as well, we might be tripled up on that team they pick in the double. We basically got away with triple pool and a bonus manager. Regardless how it plays out (too many factors involved), Moyes owners got a great result this GW. If Emery can achieve something similar next week, that will be insane.

Salah TC will be incredibly difficult to beat, no doubt about that... but I just got 22 points from David-bloody-Moyes.

Everton scored 6 goals; got 1 win; got 1 draw (with a table bonus).

Absolutely delighted with those points in the bag, given i thought something like 15 would be a stretch from this DGW.

Not a huge loss against triple-captainers this week - and whilst definitely likely my TC does worse later, the eventual TC likely to be more differential than Salah has been this week.

Really - it depends on how future Assistant Manager chips go. May well prove very tricky to get a 20-pointer for them too, and they'll have less GWs to play it across that us.

Highly doubt a single week TC score outscores (or comes close to) 3 week AM score again.

That said, the Moyes result is definitely going to be hard to match. Especially now that you can just move to Emery.

I might just field 10 in 29 if it means I don't need to sell any of Mateta, Isak, or Salah, and Munoz.

I had 6 with Hall, Trent and Gordon plus the first three.

Sold Gordon this week though. Hoping to keep 5 for 5 GWa then sell two

Is it possible to AM slot in GW25 even though he will be banned? If so this chip needs to be seriously looked at by the powers that be next season. Also hate the fact they he doesn't lose any points for a red card.

Not a manager chip then, is it?

Of that there is no doubt. Poorly thought through really.

"Mystery Chip" coming in 2nd half of season. Strategy and planning out the window.
"Assistant Manager Chip" except that its nothing to do with the guy. Its the team.
        Table bonus pffff.
        3 week lockdown.
Player budget needs sacrificed to maximise.
        I could go on.

          I'll go on.

No sanctions for a red or goals conceded
          Potentially 3 tfs to maximise
          I could go on.

If they added those penalties then people wouldn't pay it

I mean if those minus points existed people would just choose not to play the chip because of the negative effects

If Slot was and assistant manger and red carded, he'd still be banned.

      I have done it.

If he hasn't lost points for the red card, I couldn't imagine other punishments

It should be. I remember it being written before that a manager that if you chose a manager for AM, who was sacked before the second GW, that the chip stays with the team.

I was all ready to pull the trigger on him for AM this coming GW but after his red card I've been having second thoughts in case he was banned in the game and it's tough luck but looks like it's still possible to roll with him (strangely). Thanks for the heads-up.

They (FPL Towers) didn't think it through.

Obviously Slot should have a - 3 and a ban put on him, but they won't. They don't want to taint the shiny new toy.

Exactly. If all this is the case (as we're seeing that it is) it should be a 'Team' chip as opposed to an 'Assistant Manager' chips as clearly there are no personal repercussions.

    Raya.
    TAA, Gabriel, Robinson.
    Rogers, Salah, Mbuemo, Palmer.
    Isak, Ndiaye, Gakpo.
    Pick, Enzo, Greaves, Hall.
1ft, 0.3m ITB. Asst Man- Moyes..

    1. Just Moyes -> Emery. (Exact cash).
    2. TAA + Moyes -> Kerkez + Slot. -4

The advantages of going for Slot= solves an issue for GW 29. TAA- may see more reduced mins anyway. More cash is freed up + more flexibility with the AM next GW.

Going Emery- backing a good fixture v Ipswich and then Villa have a fair shot v Liverpool. Not much flexibility in 26 AM...

    Thoughts..?

Salah (C) + AM Moyes only 7 points less than Salah TC.. not too bad I suppose

And we still have a TC, albeit unable to use on Salah but there’s other options

But how about Slot, does it affect his Assistant Manager score?

Thankfully for those FPL managers who used the chip on the Liverpool boss, no it doesn’t.

Think of the Assistant Manager chip more as a results-based chip, with points awarded …

Well then it’s not really a manager chip, is it? It’s a team chip.

    Poorly thought out

Its not a chip its a gateway to gambling which they might quietly have been hoping for. Chio to return next season with the game sponsored by a leading bookmaker with links to being able to bet on the outcomes next season ala super 6. Watch this space, money talks for FPL Towers.

Is Mbuemo benched the right choice with this front 8?

    Salah, Palmer, Mbuemo, Rogers, Kluivert
    Watkins, Isak, Gakpo

      I’d play him over Kluivert

Blimey. 4 of them at twice. You cannot bench Isak.

Toss of a coin with Mbuemo, Palmer and Kluivert.

If any of them scored two and got 15 points or got 1 with a YC neither would surprise me.

Thanks bud. I'm TC Salah this week so can't even look at a bench boost. Inevitably I'll bench the one that hauls.
