Denied winnings by the woodwork after Robin van Persie notched one but struck the bar against Palace, we’re three Flutters down and still without a win. Nevertheless, we’re turning up with another tenner this week, determined to turn the tide via another array of Scout Pick’s inspired markets from Paddy Power.

Before we look at those, however, a reminder of Paddy’s special odds on offer for Sunday’s Manchester derby. If you’ve yet to sign up for an account with Paddy, you can get exclusive enhanced 7/1 odds on a United win against City. The regular odds are 23/10 so this is a great deal for those who register new accounts ahead of Sunday’s clash.

If you’re an existing customer, you can still take advantage of a Paddy offer – there’s a a money back special on Sunday’s clash – if United win the game, they’ll refund any losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match.

Moving to this week’s Flutter markets, we start with the hot favourite for the Gameweek armband. Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud tops our poll with 22% of the vote ahead of Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge, with both strikers having claimed four goals in four league starts thus far. Both find a home in this week’s Picks, although we’re looking to Giroud to help us prise some cash from Paddy Power. Our bookmaker friends are offering 8/1 on Giroud scoring two or more goals with an Arsenal clean sheet against visiting Stoke; we’re happy to take them up on that to the tune of Β£3 of our stake.

As we move into the Scout Picks midfield, we find a man in form in the shape of Swansea’s Mihcu. Having notched in back-to-back matches this week, Michu makes a trip to Selhurst Park on Sunday, perhaps leggy from Europa League exploits but, nonetheless, sure to provide the key threat to Ian Holloway’s men. The Spaniard takes pride of place back in our Picks for the first time this season and Paddy have put odds of 15/2 on Michu netting a third goal in a week, with the Swans keeping a shut-out. We’ll gladly throw them another Β£3 of our tenner on this one.

Finally, Hatem Ben Arfa is another man in form and heavily backed going into the Gameweek. With Hull City visiting St James’ Park, many have already banked a third consecutive win for Alan Pardew’s outfit. If that turns out to be the case, then Ben Arfa is surely set to play his part. Paddy have a Ben Arfa goal with a Newcastle shut-out at 7/1, making it our bet of the week and enough to prise the final Β£4 from our mitts.

Register and Bet Β£10 And Get Β£20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free Β£20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

2.6 in the bank left. (1.7 for tekkers to suarez next gw)

I really like your team but I think Walcott and Michu are going to be must have players with their upcomming fixtures, so may want to swap out HBA or Eriksen for Walcott. Your team is very similar to mine but I have spent that extra on defence:

      Mignolet | Boruc

      Vertonghen | Ferdinand | Zabaleta | Wilson | Chester

      Walcott | Michu | Barkley | Moses | Ramsey

      Rooney | Benteke | Giroud

I'm in a similar boat with RVP thrown into the mix. After much procrastination I've gone with Wally. Tekkers vice. Just feel Arse are coming into great goal scoring form and have more than enough to see off Stoke.

Could be a massive fail but that wouldn't be much different than all my other captaincy choices this season

As a Chelsea fan I wouldn't trust Oscar with the arm band, not explosive enough for that (famous last words) and as we need a win I can see Jose sticking Mata in and him doing the damage against Fulham.

I fear for Mata, Jose seems to have a hard on for Oscar and he often sticks with his guns. I will take a punt on him this week seeing as he has a slight bit of form going into the game. Planning on dumping him next week anyway!

Currently chosen Ward-Prowse as I have captained HBA and am hoping (as a Newcastle fan) for a rout of Hull's defence. Any thoughts?

How often do you captain a player from your real teams most bitter rivals.

I currently have it on soldado and I have captained spurs players in the past however this was usually when their fixture was leaps and bounds more appetising than any if the other big team players I had. This isn't the case this week and I feel a bit like a sinner :(.

      I'd say Kim.

Maybe just cause he in my team and hoping for something. But if Brady a doubt could easily get 20 mins

Would swapping Turner in def for Soldado in my team be madness? Feeling Cardiff will be spurred on by Swansea to do well this weekend

I'm not a fan of Yaya, and the other Toure is a little risky.

Yeah agree with both these comments. Yaya got ok record v Man U and if save swap can get rid of toure if doesn't play 2day if plays will keep as pool defence cover

As a Man Utd fan I have a very optimistic feeling going in this Manchester Derby. City have been showing signs of having a new manager who is not used to managing in the Prem and also having a few to many signings bedding in.

Moyes seems to be a thorn in City's side too. So with our new microphone haired destroyer in the middle and Rooney hitting form I'm putting a few bob on Utd (not too much though.....still a derby game after all)

At the Etihad though right? As a neutral, I would swing towards a Man City win.

Eriksen played about 70mins in his debut.

Do we think this will happen every match?
