With Gameweek 1 concluded, it’s time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenal’s new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpool’s ever-improving youngster, Southampton’s delivery under Ronald Koeman and United’s weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

OK hands up if you are doing the sideways special tonight, Haz - > Fab. 2 hands up if it's for a hit.

Why on Earth would you do that? I'm considering doing Mata > Fab but if I had 1.0 more it'd go to Hazard no question.

Nay for me. I'm sad I picked Hazard but I still think he has more potential. The ref gives the penalty instead of the yellow card to Costa and Hazard could have matched or exceeded Cesc's score.

Better to have them in your squad though. My biggest regret was going Jovetic and Arnautovic instead of Sigurdsson and Dzeko (changed it on Saturday morning) because I didn't fancy any Sigurdsson points against Man Utd and thought Jovetic would be more likely to score.

I feel your pain as I also had Siggy and Clyne as my first two subs. Would have been on a monster 91 if I had played them both over Young and Caulker but no complaints! Cesc, Fabs and Ramsey also held their part of deal down.

Aguero is tempting but not just yet. May shift Costa to him after a few weeks

I have a world class midfielder in my team who plays in the hole for a top side, behind one (soon to be two) of the most prolific strikers in the premier league. He's on free kicks and corners, has no European rotation, the fixtures are the best for the next few weeks, BUt he hasn't done anything for 90 minutes so far this season.

Can't remember his name but I need to get rid quick, right?

    De Gea (Gilks)
    Terry, Hutton, Taylor (Pieters, Wisdom)
    Mata, Ramsey, Sterling, Sigurdsson (Marney)
    Costa, Rooney, Jovetic

Already made my FT this week. Switched Arnautovic out for Sigurdsson to beat the price rise.

The mad thing is why they bought a 19 year old that came to a new club with huge expectations for 6m when he mustered 1 hole assist last season, oh and no goals. Plus he was expected to do a new job

I thought they were very poor but Sterling was bright enough.

City weren't great either but at the Etihad you have to fancy them really. Fernando was excellent, so they'll possibly control the centre quite well.

I doubt it. But I'll be playing him anyway. Hoping the BFG or Kos miss out. With the return CL qualifier coming up, Wenger might want his preferred CB partnership well rested for that tie.

Not to mention Hazard accumulated 24 bps without firing a shot. Had a few KP himself and should be on penalties. He dribbles allot, which is good for BPS this year.

We all know Hazard is the explosive type, whilst Fab is more the steady assister type. Sort of like Bale vs Silva two seasons back.

To be fair, it takes nerves of steel to sit tight after watching Cesc score massively. That and the fear of missing out on a bandwagon --- despite it being only 1 game played.

This. And I'm not sure that I have the requisite nerves of steel. It's bizarre to think, though, that I could have 4 of the top 6 midfielders on the FFS Watchlist and I'm sweating the two that I don't have (Sterling and Fabergas).

And, in my case, the need for nerves of steel are compounded by the fact that I want (probably irrationally) to hold on to Cabella and not use the extra cash I have to get either Sterling or Fabergas...
