With Gameweek 1 concluded, itβs time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenalβs new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpoolβs ever-improving youngster, Southamptonβs delivery under Ronald Koeman and Unitedβs weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.
Last time Man Utd announced a signing they announced another the following day

Every time Chelsea buy a 'world class' striker, they destroy him. Just look at Crespo, Shevchenko and Torres, to name but a few. So what makes you think Diego Costa will be any different?
Open ControlsTorres was on the way down before he joined Chelsea
Open ControlsFabregas.
Open ControlsCrespo had a couple of good years at Lazio and Parma (I think), but he started getting injuries before he arrived at Chelsea. By the time he got there he was a spent force similar to what happened with Torres.
As for Shevchenko, from what I remember it was Abramovich who pushed hard for him to be recruited. But he didnt fit the style Chelsea were playing then and was probably just too slow for the PL.
Its not that Chelsea are destroying strikers it they are buying the wrong ones who are often passed their prime and it says more about their scouting than anything elseOpen Controls
Sorry guys, was at work until now and I realise this has been been flogged to death already but I'm considering Hazard to Fab right now as he's about to rise. Yay or nay? No other pressing matters in my team right now.
Open ControlsBit jerky. Haz could outscore fab this week
Open ControlsKeep the faith with Hazard, in fact, give him the armband
Open ControlsThanks, JK. Still planning on saving your transfer?
Open Controlsyes, see no reason not too. Once you set aside the Fabregas haul my team looks strong this week.
Open Controlsbecause I'm an idiot
also because I felt Leicester might cause an upset and he might nab a goal, whilst I thought Pool might score 3-4 and wasn't expecting Clyne to score
But mostly it's the idiot thingOpen Controls
Nay catch Hazards .3 rise after the weekends game instead π
Open ControlsHave Fab but if I could afford Hazard I'd have him instead.
Open ControlsGoals > assists. Think Hazard has a higher potential ceiling.
Open Controls
I would do Mata to fab
But I wouldn't do Hazard to Fab
Too sideways, Hazard probably won't fall this week...Open ControlsJust think what you can do with that extra million and extra cash. π
Open ControlsNo, pointless sideways move
Open Controls
Getting tickets to go and see Burton Albion VS QPR next week.
Hopefully get to see a giant slaying!Open ControlsRaul Garcia equalizes.
Open ControlsCan't decide what to do, I have;
Krul/Foster
Caulker/Debuchy/Chester/PVA/Moore
Fabregas/Ramsey/Mata/Stirling/Mutch
Costa/Rooney/Bojan
Really want Siggy, for the price rises, fixtures & long term, thought of;
A) Mutch -> Siggy, Caulker -> Hutton (to fund move)
B) Mata -> Siggy
C) other high value midfield -> Siggy
D) sit tight
Other ideas?
Ta.Open ControlsProblem with doing Young -> Sterling Wilson -> Hutton
It messes up my rotation of Wilson/Taylor/PVA/Wisdom/DummettOpen ControlsBed time, night all!
I'll dream of Fabregas and have nightmares about MataOpen ControlsGoodnight sir.
Heading off myself too, bye all.Open Controls- Open Controls
I'll be having dreams in that case... Ha

I just found the team I made in sky fantasy football ages ago before the FPL came online and then forgot about. What a shocker.
Speroni
Konchesky - Mariappa - Cahill
Toure - Ramsey - Bacuna - Wright Phillips
Costa - RVP - Jelavic
I think you can tell not a lot of effort was put into that oneOpen ControlsI. Sure this has been discussed ad nauseum but is anyone doing Terry/Cahill to Azp?
Open ControlsClyne will I think.

Before season:
Mata ----> first mid.
Rambo ----> 2nd
Fab ----> 3rd
Siggy ----> 4th
Albrighton ----> 5th
After 1st GW:
1- Cecs
2- Gudjohnsen
3- Sterling
4- Sylvester Stallone ( the luckiest player I ever seen, oh sorry last match he was unlucky - red card )
5- Sancheese
90% on here are casuals...Open ControlsI have no idea what this post is meant to mean
Open Controls
Di Maria would be the perfect signing for United in that 532 system.
Open ControlsGood article about Fabregas. You guys who don't have him had better get him in or you'll be left behind.
http://grantland.com/the-triangle/a-new-home-and-an-old-role-for-chelseas-cesc-fabregas/Open ControlsI'll have a midfield in 2 weeks of:
Mata or Sterling + Ramsey/Siggy/Fabregas
Just need Dzeko to keep his place, which worries me... :\Open Controls
Mr Sandman ...
Open ControlsEvs. Watcha doing with Bruce? Bench fodder or playing?
Open ControlsKeeping, and hoping his knee is sorted by Saturday.
Reports suggests he will be 'rested' for the euro game. I like the sound of the term 'rested' as opposed to 'out injured' π
Fingers crossed.Open ControlsSo you're hoping to play him?
I've just done naughton to kelly, so looking to play him, Cahill and caulker... Although may play Bruce over caulker.
You like me and wish you'd found the extra .5 for chester? πOpen Controls
Would United really be in a worse position than present if Moyes was still in charge?
Open ControlsA few negative attitudes have left the club. More to follow. Woodward needs slapping into shape and the board need putting in place.
Moyes' biggest mistake was sacking the backroom staff. Woodward was to blame for faffing around and letting the transfer window slip.Open Controls
James Rodrigues scores for Real Madrid
Open ControlsDoes anybody seriously think Monday was just "one good game against Burnley"? Fabregas is already essential isn't he?
Open ControlsIt's a big over exaggerated at the moment, yes.
Open ControlsNothing short of breathing is essential so no..... When they meet better teams we will know more, he could end up deep
Open ControlsI don't think playing deeper will make a difference. Did you see the tweet from whoscored earlier in the week stating that, despite leaving in 2011, nobody has played more accurate through balls in the premier league in the last 6 seasons?
Open ControlsWell there is a huge difference in hitting an accurate ball on your own half then outside oppositions box... but yes i have checked his stats on whoscored and they are amazing, my point being that no one is essential.
ChelseS style of play is hugely different then Arsenals were then, one is defensive as hell one is the opposite.
So i will always stsnd by my statement that only breathing is essentialOpen Controls
Costa > Aguero (No City players, got Fabregas)
Open ControlsNo hit necessary? I'd do it. Maybe wait a week though and see how much time Aguero gets this week
Open Controls
Mario Goetze to Manchetser United
Open Controlswhich site is most accurate for price rises?
Open Controlsthanks
Open Controls
Just did a WC to gain TV and then swap back to my regular squad before deadline π
Open ControlsFirst season?
Open ControlsWhat a sheer an utter waste.
Open Controlslol
Open Controlsnot serious surely?
Open Controls
Does anyone think Ashley Young might do well this weekend? Would be just like the thing
Open ControlsPosted this on wrong page!
Evening all, just a quick one re price changes. According to TotalFPL a few are currently sitting at nearly 200% progress for a price rise. How does this work? Does it mean they'll go up 0.1 tonight and the 'spare %' will be carried over to tomorrow to go towards another price hike? Or 0.2 tonight? CheersOpen ControlsMy team: http://imgur.com/EPIpima
72pts GW1, OR 33k. The obvious (and overasked but I'm gonna ask anyway) question is:
Should I swap Mata for Fab tonight?Open ControlsAnyway, serious question here, who is most likely to concede
a.). Arsenal. (Everton away)
b.). Newcastle. (Villa away)
c.). BothOpen Controls
