Not at all. Bournemouth are much better attacking than what you think and Fraser is a better player than 5.5 I'd say let's skip the argument coz I have no doubt that points scored isn't the be-all and end-all for fixing their price in FPL. We can discuss again when the prices are released. » Read

Just because Etheridge scored more points than De Gea doesn't mean he will be priced more than him. What team you play for has a bearing on your price in FPL. » Read

Well I think we as FPL managers should consider that United will be in Europa next season and will be playing their youth team in that. An injury-free season in a central striker position for him with United playing half as well as they did when OGS took over and he should smash it. 15 goals easily. » Read

Agreed, and perma-cap is something I've only heard in theory and no active managers actually do it. I really felt stifled this year everytime I had Salah in my team. Was going to start the season without Salah till a friend talked me into him. I think another viable strategy which I have liked in previous seasons is to leave some money ITB with your GW1 teams. There are always chances that there will be a player you'd want but not a player in a similar bracket you want to remove. » Read

I think FPL should have thresholds when deciding even if Messi comes to PL, make him 12.5. 13.0 for a mid or fwd and 7.5 for a def are something that people will likely resist and will surely find a better cheaper alternative. » Read

Rashford likely to be 9.0 IMO Clearly OGS prefers him there. I agree with the Kane prediction and would love to see Spurs have good fixtures to begin with. I think Kane and Aguero swap places in price. Aguero likely to be 12.0 or 12.5 (unlikely) » Read

Wouldn't touch Doherty, Van Dijk, AWB with 10-feet pole if this comes to fruition. I think VVD goes 6.5, AWB 5.0 (he still plays for Palace and doesn't have goals in him), Doherty 5.5 » Read

I beg to differ, I think there is a HUGE difference between what Opta terms a big chance and a Penalty. The chances of a penalty being converted are almost 80-90%. It has to be different than a big chance where a striker had a great opportunity to head the ball from a cross even though he had defenders jumping on him and the ball coming through a crowd of bodies. In a penalty, it's just you and the keeper with the GK rooted to the line and even when he saves it there is a 50% chance that somebody will scramble it in, surely that's better than a Big Chance. Probably a HUGE chance. » Read

So with the season behind us we need something to keep ourselves occupied, so here's a topic to discuss. Personally, I like how in UCL fantasy you get points for earning a penalty irrespective of whether it gets converted or not, after all it's not the player's fault that someone didn't convert a Penalty. Also I am a huge fan of the Limitless chip introduced in UCL fantasy this year, where you can form a team without any budget constraints. What are the changes that you'd like to see? » Read
