  1. The Fantasy Flutter: Hot favourites at home in Saturday's top-flight games 1 day, 19 hours ago

But he’s not nailed at Wolves. Seems to play a lot of games from the bench. I agree in principle though some of these players seem deluded about the amount of playing time they’ll get then have to leave a few years later after rotting on the bench. Drinkwater springs to mind. » Read

Argh, looks like Vinegar's dropping tonight. Was hoping he would wait until tomorrow so with 2FT I could do Auba>KDB and then Vin>Saiss with the freed up .5 So would you... A: Go Vin>Taylor now instead, and then I'll still have 0.5 ITB (useful for something else later) after Auba>KDB B: Hold in the hope Vin doesn't drop to allow my preferred Vin>Saiss but risk being priced out in which case I'll end up doing Vin>Taylor anyway and only left with 0.4 ITB which is probably no use for anything else? 8. Newcastle's three debutants impress as West Ham flop ahead of tough fixture run 6 days, 13 hours ago

    B. All of them could haul of course, but first game for MUN, and tough fixture for LIV so I think Auba the most likely to. ARS fixtures get ropey from next week though different story for more than one week. » Read

Depends whether you already have one of them. I wouldn't use a transfer either way, both decent options with good fixtures so give them a few weeks to see how they go. If you're picking one then I'd still much rather have Ings even allowing for the price difference. » Read

  10. Willian dominates in Aubameyang's first game as FPL midfielder 8 days, 4 hours ago

What metrics are you basing that view on? Adjusting for the position change and based on this season’s price he scored at 5.5 ppg (0.61 ppg per m) over the full season and then 7,6 (0.84) during restart. I think it’s reasonable to assume this year could be more like the latter part of last season but either way his numbers are great. He also gets a lot of assists as well as being the main striker. » Read

Sadly, all too well. I thought this guy looked amazing and got him in. Painful. I now have a reminder that every player has to pass an eye tes5 of more than 1 game!! » Read

Would much rather Soucek (caveat GW1 availability). Unless you’re willing to accept nearly zero attacking returns but then you may as well have a 4.5 » Read

  17. How does Kai Havertz compare with Chelsea's other FPL attacking assets? 14 days, 9 hours ago

No way will Mount be starting there over Kovacic - just not his position. I think he will play GW1 over 1 of Hav/Ziy/Pul, and will still play lots over the season, but realistically he’s probably 4th place for 3 slots so not a nailed starter by any means, » Read

  18. How does Kai Havertz compare with Chelsea's other FPL attacking assets? 14 days, 11 hours ago

Thanks all. I had Doherty I drafts but just a bit of doubt crept in and even with the 4.5 keeper I’d need to lose another fwd I want in order to fund it. » Read

  19. How does Kai Havertz compare with Chelsea's other FPL attacking assets? 14 days, 11 hours ago

Ok really want someone to shoot me down on this and tell me why I’m wrong... It seems to be generally accepted that 4.5 GK is the way to go, but... Lloris outscores every 4.5 by at least a point a game and that’s a great return on 1m extra for any position. Spurs have great fixtures. I don’t like the look of their other defenders apart from Doherty, and spending a bit more on a player you don’t rotate makes sense. Why am I wrong? I’m struggling to convince myself otherwise. » Read
