I’ve ignored Ings for the past three months, because I didn’t expect his scoring run to continue. I had the opportunity to bring him in before Christmas, but the fixtures had turned. However, now the fixtures have swung for the better, plus the underlying statistics have materialised too. Using statistics from the members area for the last four games, he’s top for shots in the box with 16, second for big chances with five and second for shots on target with eight. I’ve finally rectified my ignorance by transferring him in this week and hope to hold for the rest of the season. He’s also likely to be my captain this weekend too. Do you believe he can keep this going? Or will he inevitably succumb to injury? » Read

The New Midfield Template The highest owned midfielders in the game right now are De Bruyne, Mane, Maddison, Salah and Cantwell. It’s a midfield I’ve been on board with for the past three gameweeks and much of the talk in the community is moving towards this point, as Double Gameweek 24 draws near. Are managers moving too soon for a double up in the Liverpool midfield though? Over the next two games, Sterling, Alli, Martial, Son and Richarlison could easily outscore them in the next two games, considering the fixtures. They are all comparative differentials. What’s your plan for the midfield for the next two weeks as we move towards DGW24? » Read

Is it safe to captain Jamie Vardy in Gameweek 20? Brendan Rodgers stated in the press only last week that he would need some rest over Christmas and add into the mix, Rebekah Vardy is heavily pregnant and could be due at any time. Surely, it is better to play safe with a Liverpool midfielder? » Read
