He’s a completely different player to Salah and Sterling. Pens are a massive part of his appeal - without them he’s a far inferior asset to those two (I think he is anyway to a degree, but expect his price to reflect that) » Read

This looks good to me. I’ll whisper it quietly, but I think firmino could be an option again at 8.5 » Read

OK, but my point is they can’t price him on the assumption that they’ll sign a big name player so he won’t play. They have to price him as if he’s nailed. He won’t be lower than 8m, 8.5m if he’s a mid. To your point below, he’s a completely different player in a different team with a different ceiling to Barnes and Mount. » Read

They have to price him as though he is though. Can’t just assume united will sign someone, and if they do it might not be a replacement but a back up. 6.5 would be a complete joke. » Read

He’d be nailed into your squad at 7.5m if he’s not a starter? » Read

If sancho doesn’t join you have a nailed man united attacking player in a team that’s scoring for fun, finished the season really strong and are expected to do very well next season. He’ll be 8.5m as a mid, 8m as a striker. FPL have had a shocker if he’s anything less, given that you’d expect Rashford to be 9.5m. Mahrez was 8.5m this season with nowhere near the predicted minutes of greenwood next season. » Read

  11. West Bromwich Albion's defence assessed ahead of FPL return in 2020/21 7 hours, 16 mins ago

Doesn’t really tell me anything apart from Liverpool have outperformed xG for a couple of seasons, with their only explanation as to why being ‘they have good players’. A pretty poor article tbh. » Read

Ah. I guess price inflation has been such that £35-40m now does not get you what it did a few years ago. There are a lot of gambles at those prices now (and even at the higher prices - Pepe at arsenal!) Proven talent will still be OK IMO - not sure whether I include Werner or Ziyech etc in that example, but Sancho is definitely one I’d expect to have a v good season if he joined. » Read

  13. Fantasy Allsvenskan GW14 Pre-match Preamble 1 day, 2 hours ago

Nice post. I do think FPL should move the deadlines one way or another. I’d personally prefer it to be moved closer to KO, but can see arguments both ways. To pick up on long run vs short run - the ‘long run’ in FPL is a hell of a lot longer than people think IMO. When I hear things like ‘luck evens out over the course of a season’ it always makes me chuckle. » Read

What do you mean a hell hole? If you get a big enough following you can quit your job and start an entirely 100% sustainable career copying and pasting who had the most SIB in home/away matches and getting people to pay for you to ‘reveal’ your team pre-deadline 😀 » Read

  17. Can Pablo Hernández and Leeds' attackers offer reliable FPL appeal? 2 days, 54 mins ago

11m, 10.5 min. Anything lower and he’s an absolute auto-buy for everyone GW1 which FPL will want to avoid. Last season’s price won’t enter into it. FPL have a history of giving big price hikes to previously underpriced assets (Kane, Mahrez, Alli, Sterling) and its about points potential and demand right now, not relative to last season. Bruno will be in huge demand (Manchester United talisman in red hot form) and has the points potential to justify 11m for me. Might even outperform that. Obviously just an opinion, but for me it will be a joke if he comes in at 10m or lower - he might regress significantly but there’s more chance he just makes a mockery of the price point. » Read

  19. What to expect from Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa in FPL 7 days, 21 mins ago

It’s mostly just him being good I think - he’s regularly up at 35 or so with a single goal, which defenders find hard to keep up with with just a single CS. » Read

40 for Suarez as well apparently - from 30G 25A. Think a lot of his returns were bunched into individual games though (think he had a 4G 1A and a 2G 3A!!!) Shows what a baps monster Ings is though! » Read
