I don't want to upset any West Ham fans, but i think you shouldn't get carried away with the new 'potential' signings. Haller is a pure striker, as cool as it gets in front of goal and he has the strenght to survive in the premier league. I don't watch that much of Bundesliga, but i did watch him at FC Utrecht for two seasons before he went to Frankfurt. I had him in my Dutch Fantasy team too because of his goalscoring abilities. I noticed however just like in the Eredivisie, 20% of his goals are coming from spot kicks. He is a specialist if you like, but if Noble isn't willing to hand them over it will hamper his output quite a bit. He is a good finisher, but besides that he hasn't got great pace or tricks up his sleeve so asking why bayern didn't get him, that might be it.About Veltman, you might have seen him in the CL. He was fairly decent there, but besides that most Ajax fans won't be unhappy he leaves at all. He is decent defensively but doesn't offer anything going forwar… » Read

Played under Frank Lampard @ Derby too. Was a revelation in the Eredivisie the year before @vitesse. Has a superb cross/freekick in him. If he isn't loaned out, he is defintely on my watchlist. Probably will be » Read

@PSV locadia played left wing cutting inside a lot. Only when Luuk de Jong had on off-season locadia played striker. Tbf he really is a striker but there just was a better one at hand back then, so he played left wing loads. » Read

I think every team needs 1 punt so yarmolenko might be a great one. With Arnie gone he'll definitely play i think, they'll need his creativity and hopefully goals (i have him in my team atm too). He's first on my bench for gw1 tho with MANC, but long term i'm betting on him. » Read

  6. The budget FPL midfielders to consider at £5.5m 8 days, 21 hours ago

i've got exactly the same defense (except heaton over Ryan) Only changes in attack are that i went with Kane at the cost of playing a 4.0 defender or 4.5 midfielder every week. your team is more balanced, hopefully mine has a higher ceiling » Read

  7. The budget FPL midfielders to consider at £5.5m 8 days, 21 hours ago

I only hear negatives from playing in the Europa League. If anyone might get some rest at the start it's Jimenez. And what if they do well in Europe, it's a big morale boost and they'll want to achieve it again i suppose, i think they can go for top 8 again it's not like they were super lucky, they played well especially vs the big teams. » Read

I like your thinking, my teams very simular:KdB > Sterling Siggy > Hayden Greenwood > DCL Ryan > Heaton Rico > Gibson Zaha > AyozeI'm playing 4-3-3. But i'm only going through with it if Tarkowski really leaves Burnley so i can bench Kelly/Hayden/Dendoncker and play Gibson most of the time » Read

  11. Is Wan-Bissaka worth £5.5m in FPL after United move? 13 days, 2 hours ago

Won't be so sure about that. He is small but pep hasn't got anything against small backs. Of course he might need a while to adjust to the premier league, but he most defintely is a better player defensively than zinchenko. Fun fact, he played for PSV as well 2 years ago. Angelino's crossing probably was the best in the Eredivisie so he can bring something offensively as well. Also he was really consistent, after 3 somewhat shaky games he always was one of the best on the field » Read

  12. What FPL managers can expect from Brighton winger Leandro Trossard 14 days, 10 hours ago

I'm thinking of getting two players i am yet to see in any drafts, McTominay and Kolasinac. Consider them my punts, McTominay played more and more especially in the big games, Kola i haven't owned but i feared him the most when watching MOTD. He was like a winger, if only Arsenal did CS. What do you reckon?Heaton - Button TAA Digne Kola Femenia (Kelly) Salah Sterling Zaha (McTominay Dendoncker) Kane King DCL » Read

Not if they get loads of set-pieces. Leicester looked to gel at the end of last season, i just prefer zaha to maddison still. » Read

I think a bit unbalanced because of you're heavy hitting midfield. You're gonna need to play two of Simpson/Dunk/Romeu/Dendoncker every week. I rather downgrade KdB or Sterling and put the money in two of those positions » Read

  15. What FPL managers can expect from Brighton winger Leandro Trossard 14 days, 10 hours ago

Like it a lot, i'm thinking 4-3-3 too. All very important players for their teams. Only weeks you might struggle is when the Liverpool teams concede and don't score loads, but with the fixtures that's probably a risk you're willing to take. I'm getting Kola instead of Coleman just for a punt and he was so attacking last season, now he's finally first team player he'll hopefully continue bombing forward. » Read

Save 0.5 with Heaton > 4.0, you're gonna play Allison every week. Tho Trossards statistics look impressive, the belgium competition is of lesser quality than the Eredivisie. Like the article said, Jahanbakhsh was topscorer there for a side finishing 3rd. Trossard became champion and still had less goal involvement. Don't think he will deliver either, Brighton just playing vs relegation damages those numbers a lot. Also i think Long might play even less than last season with the new strikers (Adams and Ings permanently), so Trossard+Long > 11.5 » Read
