Football fanatic! Played football all my life, now coach and have played FPL since the 2006/07 season. I have been on the site for years but I didn't become a member before 2017/18. It's made a massive difference to my approach to the game.

Two players who I think can score well this week for anyone looking outside the box. Scott Dann (4.3m) always a aerial threat on set pieces and with the Cahill injury, he's nailed. Seb Haller (6.8m) hopefully Rockstar can feed us early team news. If he starts, I fancy him to score today. 60 mins under his belt would set him up nicely for the Watford game. For the record, he scored against Norwich last time out, and also netted a brace against Watford. Good luck to all this week. I've kept the captaincy on Salah. It comes with an obvious risk... I will be elated if he starts that's for sure » Read

Absolutely mate. My midfield is pretty set but if it wasn't, then I would be looking at Antonio/Bowen. I can't see est Ham going down s backing that up, I assume they score goals and pick a few more points up » Read

I'm almost certain he "is" fit. Though obviously there is a difference bet compared to match fitness/sharpness. He is also protecting Haller from having pressure heaped on him with his comments. It looks like the majority of the Hammers fans want to see Moyes start with the big man too. » Read

That's my thinking. I wouldn't be confident in taking the plunge unless we hear he is starting. Though if he gets an hour out of him against Norwich, he will certainly get chances. If he scored he'd be going into the Watford game with confidence so could all play out well........then again » Read

***My thoughts on a differential for the next 2 games*** Norwich take on West Ham in the early kick off tomorrow and fingers crossed we may get treated to some early team news...? If we do, and Seb Haller (6.8m) starts, he's going in my team. He got just short of half hour off the bench the other night against Burnley and could be ready to mix things up for David Moyes' relegation troubled West Ham. In fact, he almost made an instant impact when the ball landed to him in the box. A big chance to level went begging as his left footed attempt didn't trouble the ever impressive Pope too much. He should have done better.... a sign of rust I'm sure. He hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season. He's scored just 7 goals picking up 3 assists along the way. But there seems to be a pattern with the teams he has scored against. He scored in both games against Southampton, 1 against Bournemouth, 1 against Palace, 1 against Norwich and a brace against Watford. Interestingly e… » Read

  11. Greenwood and United in top form but Rashford again misses out on an FPL haul 4 days, 8 hours ago

I'm with you mate 100% so best of luck. I'm also bringing in a big punt depending on if we get early team news before tomorrow's lunchtime game. If Haller starts, he's coming in. I bought Pukki in as terrible punt 2 games ago. Which one of the 2 I'll own depends on early teal news » Read

Mane (C) isn't a costly gamble. Any one of those 4 names could get double digit hauls this week. If your rivals don't own Mane say, then the potential gain to a Mane haul is huge. But we can't have captain them all or have them all. Good luck Vazza » Read

  14. Cheaper alternatives to Vardy and Antonio among the GW35+ FPL differentials 4 days, 8 hours ago

Hi mate. I like the picks. Bowen certainly looks a player. I actually think Haller might get the nod against Norwich after getting almost half hour under his belt last night. If he does, then he could be an excellent differential with Antonio and Bowen's threats. He scored in the reverse fixture which means nothing. Moyes needs goals to stay clear of the relegation zone and I think he will turn to Haller » Read

I don't know pal. I own Foden and the same thinking applies. With Foden though, he's just ridiculous value for someone who plays in a Man City front 3. I can deal with a benching at that price. With Mahrez, whilst still obviously good value, I just see more risk in owning him. You clearly have money in the bank. I'd move Mahrez to Mane (c). Then assess whether you want Salah for the run-in or not » Read

Yes I would. Saints have only conceded 4 goals in the 5 games since the restart keeping 2 clean sheets. I wouldn't expect it to be a walkover for Utd if I'm honest. I know Pope loves a clean sheet but I have a feeling Mane is going to be on fire this weekend! » Read

Personally I'd be tempted to bring Mane in (if you fancied him as captain) I own Salah, TAA and VVD but definitely conscious of the fact TAA and Salah may not start. I am thinking of bringing Mane (c) in (hokey cokey) » Read

Absolutely this mate. I consider FH every week and always weigh it up but it depends on your situation. In my main ML i'm 70 pts clear and the next 3 have all used their FH. Feel GW 38 is going to be a lot more fun having this up my sleeve. If your rivals still have the FH chip, your teams may look very similar in the final GW so it depends where your team needs to be. I can see the advantage of using it in GW 36 in different circumstances » Read
