No postponements - new protocols say that if a team can field 14 fit professional players (from ANY of their squads, including youth teams) they have to play the game, otherwise forfeit the match. » Read

  6. Fantasy Football TV Guide - Your Schedule for the Best Video Content for Gameweek 3 1 day, 16 hours ago

That was the point I was trying to make above (obviously poorly) - some seasons the additional team value (TV) helps out when you do your second wildcard, for example. Last season I took around 30 hits (120 points) to grow team value - I think I got to around 107.5m in value, but by GW 30 I had a great team with 4.0m sitting in the bank because a number of great budget options emerged and you didn't need the super-premium players. If I had taken the normal 10-15 additional hits then the extra 60 points would have meant a top 35k finish for me... » Read

Unlikely - as long as WHU can field 14 professional players from any of its various squads it must play the game. » Read

As long as WHU can field 14 fit professional (i.e. earning a wage) players, from any of it's teams, it has to play the game. » Read

Not true - a number of Asian countries who had to deal with SARS in 2004 learned and implemented new protocols this time round. Go and Check out Taiwan, for example - 24m people and only 509 cases and 7 deaths. » Read

Apparently all the PL clubs agreed to it to avoid another situation of no games etc., so assume there is proper buy-in for it. » Read

No chance of games being affected - if a team can field 14 professional players (including players from reserves, youth and U23 squads) then it must play the match. If not, it will forfeit the game. » Read

There were a bunch of protocols agreed, whereby basically the EPL will do everything it can to avoid postponing games. Essentially if a team is affected by Covid but it has 14 fit professional players (including youth and/or U23 squad members) it must field that team. If it can't it will forfeit the match unless there are extremely extenuating circumstances. » Read

TBH, barring injuries I expect both to be within 10 points of each other by the end of season. I've gone KDB basically because I don't plan to move him out the team and he's a more complete footballer than Sterling...but I already have FOMO about the Sterling hatties that I'm going to miss. » Read
